The HPE private cloud portfolio expands to combine flexible, enterprise-grade software for virtualized workloads and unified cloud management with the industry's leading disaggregated infrastructure
United Arab Emirates – May 19, 2025 – Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) today announced a generational leap forward for the industry's most advanced private cloud portfolio[1], redefining what a private cloud delivers to customers through nearly a decade of leadership and HPE Morpheus Software. HPE is transforming how enterprises modernize hybrid IT for cost efficiency, performance and simplicity and is announcing the following:
HPE Private Cloud Business Edition is now available with HPE Morpheus VM Essentials, which reduces up to 90 percent of VM license costs[2] with multi-hypervisor support and self-service cloud consumption. The new savings add to the estimated 2.5X[3] lower total cost of ownership (TCO) provided by the industry's leading disaggregated hyperconverged infrastructure (dHCI)[4].
HPE Morpheus Software family is generally available and includes HPE Morpheus VM Essentials for virtualized workloads and HPE Morpheus Enterprise Software for unified cloud management. Both software offerings include the HVM hypervisor from HPE and are licensed per-socket to reduce TCO. VM Essentials customers will be able to upgrade to full HPE Morpheus Enterprise.

HPE Private Cloud Business Edition offers radical savings and simplicity through HPE Morpheus VM Essentials
While many IT infrastructure providers are now recognizing the cost benefits of disaggregated infrastructure, HPE is redefining the full-stack private cloud through HPE Private Cloud Business Edition with HPE Morpheus VM Essentials. Business Edition, available as dHCI or HCI, enables organizations to choose optimized architecture for VMs from the edge to the data center. VM Essentials manages HPE VMs and traditional VMs, allowing customers to mix and match VMs to suit their needs.

HPE Morpheus Software unifies cloud management and lowers costs
New HPE Morpheus Enterprise Software unifies cloud management for larger enterprises and service providers. From a simple interface, organizations can manage and govern virtualized, container-based and third-party runtimes across bare metal, on-prem and public cloud infrastructure. HPE Morpheus Enterprise automates application provisioning to deliver approximately 150X faster deployment of apps into virtually any hypervisor or cloud plus up to 30 percent lower cloud costs with analytics-powered rightsizing​[6].
Morpheus Enterprise and VM Essentials are hardware-agnostic, standalone software and are newly validated to run on Dell PowerEdge servers and NetApp AFF arrays, in addition to HPE ProLiant Compute Gen 11 and Gen12 servers. New HPE ProLiant Gen 12 servers enable customers to consolidate and save up to 27 percent on virtualization software, 65 percent on power per year and a 7:1 reduced data center footprint[7].
The combination of VM Essentials and HPE Aruba Networking CX 10000 lowers TCO by up to 48 percent[8], increases performance by up to 10X[9], and provides microsegmentation, DPU (data processing unit) acceleration and enhanced security. VM Essentials also provides simple, granular storage management for the HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000.
HPE simplifies virtualization transformation and modernization with enterprise-grade services
New HPE Cloud Platform Services – Virtualization Modernization ease virtualization modernization. Availability
HPE Private Cloud Business Edition with HPE Morpheus VM Essentials is available now. New Business Edition systems with HPE SimpliVity will be available in the third quarter of 2025.
HPE Morpheus Software integration for HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 is available today and is planned for June for HPE Aruba Networking CX 10000.
HPE Morpheus Enterprise Software is available now as standalone software.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) announced two additions to its line of fault-tolerant HPE Nonstop Compute solutions, offering enterprises more power, flexibility and reliability for vital business applications. Optimized for extremely high levels of availability, the entry-class HPE Nonstop Compute NS5 X5 and flagship HPE Nonstop Compute NS9 X5, are part of a powerful, seamless and trusted portfolio of solutions that are ideal for vital enterprise operations like payment processing, fraud detection and smart manufacturing execution systems (MES). This architecture includes a full-system cluster, operating system services and database. According to IDC[i], HPE Nonstop solutions are categorized as AL4 with uptimes that are 99.999% or 99.9999%. The new solutions feature Intel Xeon processors for up to 15% more performance capacity[ii]. The entry-class HPE Nonstop Compute NS5 X5 is available with Intel Xeon Bronze 3400 series processors. The flagship HPE Nonstop Compute NS9 X5 is available with Intel Xeon Gold 6400 series processors. HPE doubles[iii] the memory capacity for both HPE Nonstop Compute NS5 X5 and NS9 X5 by offering up to 8 TB, enabling customers to boost productivity. The HPE Nonstop Compute NS9 X5 offers 2.5X[iv] more networking bandwidth. These updates, along with improved fiber channel connectivity[v], enable financial services companies to process more transactions per second. In the manufacturing space, the solution enables multi-plant integrations, resulting in faster insights that better inform smart MES applications. The NS9 X5 can be clustered with the past two generations of HPE Nonstop Compute solutions, enabling customers to seamlessly add new servers to multi-generation compute configurations. This capability allows enterprises to migrate confidently without experiencing downtime and scale operations as needed.
