SILVER ALERT: Woman with dementia missing from Northwest Jacksonville
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office needs your help finding a missing woman.
Doris Rhoden was last seen near her home in the area of Bulls Bay Highway and Pritchard Road on Thursday around 7 p.m.
She left in her gold 2015 Kia Sorento with Florida tag number 61B-IPM.
She may be traveling in the area of I-10 and Lane Avenue on Jacksonville's Westside.
Mrs. Rhoden is 74 years old. According to JSO, she has been diagnosed with dementia.

Caught on camera: Man hit by driver at Southside car meet
Video circulating on social media shows the moment a man was hit by a driver at a car meet in a Southside parking lot. Witnesses said that it was supposed to be just a 'park and chill' type of meet. In dash camera video provided to Action News Jax, you can see the car speed across the parking lot before hitting the victim. People then started running over to see if he was okay. 'This car came up and he started doing donuts,' said Brandon Ferrill, who is part of the local car community. 'And first of all, that's dangerous in any parking lot, but this was a crowded parking lot.' 'He showed up to what was otherwise a pretty civilized event. It was just people hanging out here, chilling with their cars and they were here to talk. No one was driving around or anything,' said Ferrill. Another video shows a different angle of the collision. It appears the car swerved before hitting the man, and then took off. Action News Jax spoke with the man who was injured in the video, who said he had been released from the hospital. He said he had a head injury, but is now recovering. We asked JSO if they are investigating the incident, and a spokesperson said they were not aware of the incident or the video. We also requested reports Friday afternoon to see if police responded to the area the night this happened. We are waiting to hear back. As a member of the local car community, Ferrill said they don't stand for any kind of reckless behavior at their meets. ‘He's just out there': Grandmother very concerned about Clayton State student missing from hospital
A grandmother says she is worried sick after her grandson ran out of local hospital and hasn't been seen since. The Clayton State University student was there for a mental health evaluation. Kathy Traylor said she is not well, and she wants the public's help finding him. 'I haven't eaten. He's just out there,' she told Channel 2s Tom Jones, fighting back tears. Traylor says she desperately wants to find her 19-year-old grandson, Eric Pitts Jr. RELATED STORY: Clayton Co. 19-year-old missing after walking away from hospital in 'delusional state,' police say 'He might hurt himself or somebody might hurt him. I don't know 'cause he's out of his mind,' she said. Pitts hasn't been seen since police say he was taken to Southern Regional hospital early Wednesday for a mental health evaluation. Traylor says a nurse who was with him explained what happened when he got there. 'She said he said he had to use the bathroom. And as he was walking towards the bathroom, he jetted out the double doors,' she said. He had on green hospital scrubs and no shoes. This all began after Traylor says she learned her grandson exhibited erratic behavior in his campus dorm. She called campus counselors and police, and they went to his room. Traylor says a counselor told her what was going to happen next. 'She said Eric is going under 1013 so we can go ahead and find out what's going on,' she said. Traylor said she was told he was going to a mental health facility. She says she was surprised to find out he was at Southern Regional. 'They should have said Southern Regional. Then I could have went. So they wasn't communicating,' Traylor said. She said she just wants her grandson home safe and sound. 'I don't know what's going on with my baby. I don't know,' Traylor said. She says she raised her grandson and noticed him starting to change a few months ago. Clayton County police are asking anyone who sees him or know where he is to contact them. Blackshear couple arrested in connection with the death of their baby, drug possession: GBI
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced this month that it arrested a Blackshear couple during an investigation into the death of their baby. GBI said that Dustin Sauls, 41, and Cierra Chancey, 36, are charged with concealing death and possessing cocaine in connection with the death of their 6-month-old child. The Baxley Police Department, located in Appling County, had first requested the assistance of GBI in the case more than two years ago, in September 2022. GBI said that preliminary information indicated that Sauls and Chancey delayed reporting the baby's death and had cocaine at the time. An autopsy was later completed by the GBI Medical Examiner's Office. Arrest reports obtained by Action News Jax show they were taken into custody by the Pierce County Sheriff's Office on May 30 while deputies were serving the out-of-county felony warrants. >>> STREAM ACTION NEWS JAX LIVE <<< After conducting a search of their home on Radcliff Circle, the parents were arrested on the warrants and in addition to several new drug-related charges, including possession of cocaine and two charges each of possessing a Schedule III controlled substance. GBI said the investigation is still ongoing.
