The Voice UK Returns with a Star-Studded Line-Up and Brand New Coach
The Voice UK is returning to ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player - and the iconic red chairs are ready to spin once again.
Superstar coaches will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones return to the coaching panel, alongside last year's winning coaches, McFly's and Danny Jones, who also made history last series as The Voice UK 's first-ever double chair.
Also joining the line-up is megastar Kelly Rowland, bringing a wealth of industry experience and a fresh new dynamic to the battle for the UK's next big star.
Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, actress, producer and television personality Kelly Rowland rose to fame in the 1990s as a member of global pop supergroup Destiny's Child. As a solo artist, she has sold over 40 million records worldwide and is known for hit singles including 'Dilemma', 'Stole', 'Work' and 'When Love Takes Over'. A familiar face on television, Kelly has served as a judge on The X Factor UK and The X Factor USA, and as a coach on The Voice Australia. With decades of experience in the music industry, she remains a respected and influential figure in global entertainment and pop culture.
At the helm once again is presenter Emma Willis, who will guide the singers through every high note, chair turn and dramatic showdown as they ultimately battle to win a life changing record contract with music giants Universal Music Group, £50,000 in cash and a dream holiday to Universal Studios Resort in Florida.
Produced by Lifted Entertainment (part of ITV Studios), filming for the forthcoming series begins this summer. Further broadcast details will be released in due course.
Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment & Daytime Commissioning, says: 'We are delighted to have The Voice UK return. The new lineup brings something for everyone. With the return of our incredible coaches Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, plus the addition of the amazing Kelly Rowland bringing fresh insights and even more energy to the panel, we're set for another unmissable series full of heart, talent and standout moments.'
Diego Rincón, Creative Director at Lifted Entertainment (ITV Studios), says: 'We're absolutely thrilled to welcome Kelly Rowland to The Voice UK, joining our incredible panel of coaches. She's a fantastic addition with a proven track record of discovering and mentoring new talent. Together this group is perfectly placed to mentor the next generation of music stars and deliver another brilliant series.'
Kelly Rowland says: 'I am excited to join The Voice UK as a coach, and am looking forward to working with the excellent and passionate coaches the show is known for. I can't wait to hear all the new talent and to go to battle for my team. Let's go!'
will.i.am says:"I can't wait for the new season of The Voice UK. I'm so happy to be back on it. If you thought last year was dope, this year we've got Kelly Rowland who's gonna take this season to the dopest level possible! We've got Danny and Tom who are the super dope duo, and the dopest legend of them all is back - Sir Tom Jones. The whole point of this show is to watch aspirational, ambitious singers pursue their dreams - it's a joy prescription for a healthy amount of dopamine that brings love to our lives."
Sir Tom Jones says: 'It's always a pleasure to return to The Voice UK as every year I'm reminded of the incredible talent we have in this country. I'm looking forward to sitting alongside will.i.am once again, having Tom and Danny in their chair for a second series, and of course I'm excited to welcome Kelly Rowland to the panel. She's an amazing artist with a huge amount of experience to share.'
Tom and Danny say: 'We are absolutely buzzing to be back in the double chair! Last series was an incredible ride and we loved taking Ava all the way to the final together. We're ready for another go at finding a winner and this time we've got Kelly Rowland to compete with, which makes it even more exciting. We can't wait to see what she brings to the show.'
Emma Willis says: 'I'm so excited to be back for another series of The Voice UK. It's one of the most joyful shows to work on - full of passion, talent and of course those unforgettable moments when the chairs turn. With our brilliant coaches returning and the utterly fabulous Kelly Rowland joining the panel, I know this series is going to be something really special.'

Jury resumes deliberations in Harvey Weinstein sex crimes retrial
The panel, which was handed the case on Thursday morning, has requested to hear a readback of some testimony from two of Weinstein's accusers, as well as to see medical records from one of those women. The jury of seven women and five men is considering two counts of criminal sex act and one count of rape against the 73-year-old Oscar-winning movie producer, with the criminal sex act charges the higher-degree felonies. Harvey Weinstein has denied all the charges against him (Jefferson Siegel /The New York Times via AP, Pool/PA) Weinstein has pleaded not guilty. Sexual misconduct allegations against Weinstein propelled the #MeToo movement in 2017. He was eventually convicted of sex crimes in New York and California, but the New York conviction was overturned last year, leading to the retrial before a new jury and a different judge. Jurors heard more than five weeks of evidence, including lengthy testimony from three accusers.

Jessie J reveals hidden pain after biopsy procedure following cancer diagnosis
Jessie J has given an update to fans after revealing she was diagnosed with 'early breast cancer' a few months ago. The 37-year-old singer is best known for hits including Price Tag, Domino and Bang Bang, as well as appearing on The Voice UK, The Voice Australia and The Voice Kids UK. However, Jessie – real name Jessica Ellen Cornish – has given an update after being diagnosed with cancer. She shared a video on her page of herself performing at the London jazz club Ronnie Scott's. The caption revealed that she was struggling not to overshare while performing and had just undergone five surgeries. 'I had 5 breast biopsies the night before this show, I was in some discomfort but so hyped to do it and I didn't want to cancel. The more I watch this show back I can see my brain working in complete over drive trying not to blurt it all out = 😂🧟♀️🥴 'Laughing and making jokes in hard times 🤝🏻 me She then joked about her comments in the video and added: 'And I am in-fact under your bed.' In the video, the star was her usual upbeat self, despite what was going on in her private life. She joked that she was uncomfortable because she drank a Joe and the Juice. 'Anyone here from Joe & The Juice?' she asked. 'On my first album, Who You Are, I know a lot of people called it Who Are You, which completely changed the meaning. Who are you? Where have you been? Pet peeve – people asking me, 'Where have you been?' Where the f**k have you been?' She later said: 'Being truthful in who you are – not your mates or your family or everyone else, but like what you love and who you are. What makes you special. That's all I wanna focus on.' She then referenced her boobs as she said: 'And my huge, perfect t**s. You know what I mean?' Announcing the news of her diagnosis on Instagram, Jessie explained she received the health news just before the release of her song No Secrets in April. 'Before No Secrets came out, I was diagnosed with early breast cancer,' she explained. 'I'm highlighting the word early. Cancer sucks in any form but I'm holding on to the word early.' More Trending She added that she had been 'in and out of tests' and dispute debating whether to tell people about her diagnosis, she decided to be open. 'I just wanted to be open and share it because selfishly, I do not talk about it enough,' she went on. 'I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard. I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support, and also their own stories. 'I'm an open book. It breaks my heart that so many people are going through so much. Similar and worse.' She then turned to humour as she said: 'I'm getting to keep my nipples … that's good. It's a very dramatic way to get a boob job!' Got a story?
