Jessie J reveals hidden pain after biopsy procedure following cancer diagnosis
Jessie J has given an update to fans after revealing she was diagnosed with 'early breast cancer' a few months ago.
The 37-year-old singer is best known for hits including Price Tag, Domino and Bang Bang, as well as appearing on The Voice UK, The Voice Australia and The Voice Kids UK.
However, Jessie – real name Jessica Ellen Cornish – has given an update after being diagnosed with cancer.
She shared a video on her page of herself performing at the London jazz club Ronnie Scott's.
The caption revealed that she was struggling not to overshare while performing and had just undergone five surgeries.
'I had 5 breast biopsies the night before this show, I was in some discomfort but so hyped to do it and I didn't want to cancel. The more I watch this show back I can see my brain working in complete over drive trying not to blurt it all out = 😂🧟♀️🥴

In the video, the star was her usual upbeat self, despite what was going on in her private life.
She joked that she was uncomfortable because she drank a Joe and the Juice.
'Anyone here from Joe & The Juice?' she asked. 'On my first album, Who You Are, I know a lot of people called it Who Are You, which completely changed the meaning. Who are you? Where have you been? Pet peeve – people asking me, 'Where have you been?' Where the f**k have you been?'
She later said: 'Being truthful in who you are – not your mates or your family or everyone else, but like what you love and who you are. What makes you special. That's all I wanna focus on.'
She then referenced her boobs as she said: 'And my huge, perfect t**s. You know what I mean?'
Announcing the news of her diagnosis on Instagram, Jessie explained she received the health news just before the release of her song No Secrets in April.
'Before No Secrets came out, I was diagnosed with early breast cancer,' she explained.
'I'm highlighting the word early. Cancer sucks in any form but I'm holding on to the word early.' More Trending
She added that she had been 'in and out of tests' and dispute debating whether to tell people about her diagnosis, she decided to be open.
'I just wanted to be open and share it because selfishly, I do not talk about it enough,' she went on. 'I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard. I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support, and also their own stories.
'I'm an open book. It breaks my heart that so many people are going through so much. Similar and worse.'
She then turned to humour as she said: 'I'm getting to keep my nipples … that's good. It's a very dramatic way to get a boob job!'

Divisive horror movie full of 'grotesque monsters' now streaming on BBC iPlayer
If you fancy making your weekend a gruesome one, look no further than a 'grotesque' horror movie from 2019 that's been added to BBC iPlayer. Directed by Andre Ovredal and co-written by Guillermo Del Toro, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark was released in 2019 and became a box office success. Made on a budget of $25million (£18.5m), it performed better than expectations on its opening weekend six years ago and made back $104.5m (£77m) in total. Starring Zoe Colletti and Michael Garza, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is based on the book series of the same name, written by Alvin Schwartz, who died in 1992. The film follows the story of Stella, Auggie, and Chuck, who visit a haunted house and find a book of horror stories written by a long-deceased author named Sarah Bellows. Bellows' stories soon come to life, and the scary monsters and creatures they contain emerge in the real world, putting Stella, Auggie, and Chuck in more danger than they realise. In 2019, critics watching the film in its early weeks after release were broadly positive, with its current Rotten Tomatoes rating sitting at 78%. Fans received Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark positively as well, with 72% of Rotten Tomatoes users saying they would give the film a score of 7.0 out of 10 or more. On X, user @Muesquehere said that the introduction in the film of the creature known as The Pale Lady was among the most disturbing scenes of any horror film. @English_Shamar said: 'Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is a really good movie to watch' when another user asked for the scariest horrors their followers had seen before. On Letterboxd, film critic Matt Singer said the movie was proof that 'it is possible to make a genuinely scary PG-13-rated horror movie'. Joe Swash shares 'constant battle' he has with Stacey amid marriage concerns
They revealed on their reality TV series Stacey and Joe: Full House that they've been to marriage counselling to keep their relationship on track, but are still fighting a common parenting battle Loose Women star Stacey Solomon and her husband Joe Swash have given a realistic perspective on their home life, admitting they have a "constant battle" with their kids. Former EastEnders actor Joe, 43, and Stacey, 35, have six children between them. Together, they have Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two. Stacey has two children from previous relationships, Leighton, 12, and Zachary, 17. Joe also has a 17-year-old son, Harry, who he had with his ex Emma Sophocleous. The couple separated when their son was very young, with Joe going to court to see his son. But parenting has taken on new difficulties in recent years, with Stacey and Joe forced to put their feet down when it comes to the relatable issue of screen time. The source said: "They underestimated how difficult it was going to be doing this reality show and having cameras around, and watching it back hasn't been the easiest thing. The pressures of all the kids and work while balancing their relationship has been hard, they won't deny that." The source also claims they are proud of opening up about having couple's therapy on-air. 'They're going to therapy because they love each other and would never want to get to the point where they don't want to be together anymore. Lying in bed that night, I couldn't help but look back on the date. There wasn't actually anything he said or did to raise any red flags that he could be married, so I'm glad I was proactive and looked him up. A part of me was relieved because this meant that I didn't have to kiss him again. In fact, I even felt sorry for his wife. The next morning, I still didn't have a reply from Jay so I checked his profile and discovered that he had blocked me on everything. To this day, I have never seen or heard from him. H The whole experience made me even more cautious about dating than I already was; it made me question others' intentions, whether they are already in a relationship, who to trust, and so much more.
