Our Beauty Director Swears By This New Blush Tint For Radiant Skin

Graziadaily16-07-2025
While I've certainly been guilty of blush blindness in the past, I've recently found myself gravitating towards a more subtle take on flushed cheeks. There's something undeniably pretty about that soft, blurred-out glow you get after spending a precious lunch hour dozing under the sun. And after the past few weeks of sunshine, I've become quite attached to the delicate, pinched pink that rises naturally in my cheeks and gently spreads across my nose. Of course, finding something that can recreate that effect- without the need for damaging sun exposure- is a game-changer. So when I heard about Victoria Beckham's latest launch, promising a lit-from-within bloom inspired by watercolour, I knew I had to try it. And, spoiler alert, it did not disappoint.
Make no mistake- this isn't your average blusher. As with all VB products, there's real thought behind it. Not only is it impressively long-wearing thanks to the rich, vibrant tint, but it's also formulated with 'activated water' technology- specifically seawater sourced from the rock cliffs of Northern France. That might sound drying, but it's actually packed with hydrating minerals, promising plumped, nourished skin over time. There's also coconut water, renowned for its skin-enhancing benefits, packed with essential nutrients and antioxidants to combat free radicals. Then there's Terminalia Ferdinandiana fruit extract (no, me neither)- an Australian superfruit that's rich in skin-brightening antioxidants. Use this blush regularly, and your skin reaps the benefits in the long run. 1.
Victoria Beckham Colour Wash Blush Water Tint
Victoria Beckham says: 'I love the healthy flush in my skin after a workout-Colour Wash creates this same rush of colour. The watercolour-like stain soaks into skin for a blush that looks like it's naturally coming from within. It's the flush you get after a fantastic laugh, a day in the sun… or any other invigorating reason cheeks might show a little colour. I can think of a few.'
What we know: Available in three shades and delivered in a refreshing skin-loving formula this blusher is designed to leave cheeks with a water-colour like flush.
Rachael Martin beauty director says: 'On Grazia's beauty desk, there's always something of a scramble when a new VB product lands. The fact that we all have different skin tones, tastes, and preferences- but still love the range- says a lot about the brand. The packaging is always beautiful, and crucially, the formulas never miss. This new blush is no exception. First impressions remind me of a more grown-up, luxurious take on the famous Benefit Benetint Blusher which I was loyal to throughout my teenage years. That said, when it comes to stains, I typically tread with caution. I often find they dry down too quickly, leaving behind a patchy, muddy finish that refuses to blend no matter how many desperate fingertip swipes I attempt. But this one sets slowly, giving me ample time to blend and perfect the placement.' Pros Long lasting
A little goes a long way
Beautiful packaging Cons The dropper function is a little stiff
Only available in 3 shades thus far
Rachael Martin, beauty director says: 'On Grazia's beauty desk, there's always something of a scramble when a new VB product lands. The packaging is always beautiful, and crucially, the formulas never miss. This new blush is no exception. First impressions remind me of a more grown-up, designer take on the famous Benefit Benetint Blusher which I still reach for from time to time. That said, when it comes to stains and tints, I typically tread with caution. I often find they dry down too quickly, leaving behind a patchy, muddy finish that refuses to blend no matter how many desperate fingertip swipes I attempt. But this one sets slowly, giving me ample time to blend and perfect the placement.
The texture is watery, yet the pigment is full- so I'd still advise starting with a small amount and building up gradually. It wears beautifully throughout the day, never disrupting my base. And while it's currently only available in three shades, each works well across a range of skin tones. 'Flushed' is my go-to- it instantly warms my complexion and delivers a gorgeous sun-kissed flush with minimal effort. The idea is that the colour should look as though it's naturally rising from within-and I'd have to agree that this is the effect it gives. For a final touch, tap it onto your lips to tie the whole look together. The result? Cohesive, glowy make-up that still feels entirely natural.'
If you're after a new blush then this luxury option could be just the ticket. Just a couple of drops doses up skin with an enviable flush - the kind that reels in the compliments. Victoria Beckham does it again.

David and Victoria Beckham narrowly avoid awkward run-in with estranged son Brooklyn and wife Nicole Peltz in sun-soaked St Tropez - following Elton John's 'attempts to end ongoing feud'

David and Victoria Beckham narrowly avoided an awkward run-in with estranged son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz in sun-soaked St Tropez last week. The former footballer, 50, and fashion designer, 51, arrived in the swanky south of France for their annual summer break on a £16M yacht, while their eldest son, 26, holidayed on his billionaire father's boat nearby. David and Victoria were joined on the lavish getaway by the rest of their children; Harper, 14, and Romeo, 22, while youngest son Cruz, 20, soaked up the sun elsewhere in St Tropez with girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30. Romeo and Harper were first of the family to be spotted in St Tropez on Thursday, just 48-hours after Brooklyn met with godfather Elton John, who was also holidaying in the South Of France, for lunch where the singer 'attempted to end ongoing family feud'. The once close-knit Beckham family has been thrown into turmoil in recent months, amid claims Brooklyn has become increasingly estranged from his famous parents after failing to attend any of his father 50th birthday celebrations in May. It was also revealed that Brooklyn and Nicola's Instagram accounts no longer follow his younger brothers in the latest family drama. Sir Elton, who has been friends with the Beckhams for three decades, reportedly took the opportunity to 'say his piece' about the feud as he wined and dined the young couple. According to The Sun, Sir Elton 'briefly' spoke about the family's feud in the hope Brooklyn would patch things up with his parents, and footage of the outing shared on social media showed the pair shaking hands. Speaking about Elton's attempts to play peacekeeper in the row, a source said: 'Elton is the showbiz equivalent of Switzerland. He's utterly neutral in this row. 'Elton of old may have relished in taking sides - in this case his young godson, Brooklyn - but two years off his 80th birthday, he's a man who has seen and done it all. He just wants everyone to be happy. 'There is no side-taking as such; he simply adores his godson, and really has a laugh with Nicola who he thinks has a great sense of humour. He wants to look after them in his role as 'spiritual adviser' as a godfather, it's a role he takes seriously. 'Elton and David think the situation is terribly sad, and has gently suggested to all involved that life is short - to patch things up.' The source added Elton is 'adamant he doesn't want to stick his nose in' the feud, he just simply 'wants peace'. Sir Elton is also said to have generously picked up the entire bill, after dining on the restaurant's signature lobster linguine which comes in at an eye-watering £190. David affectionately calls the musician 'Uncle Elton' after becoming friends in his football heyday. Sir Elton was due to perform at the Beckhams wedding in 1999 before suffering a heart attack that prevented him from playing. He later sang at one of the children's christenings. Meanwhile Victoria once disclosed that it was Elton who inspired her to say goodbye to the Spice Girls, penning an emotional letter to her older self where she confessed that watching her friend perform made her realise that her true calling lay beyond singing. Soaking up the sunshine on their £16 million vessel, David and Victoria were seen making the most of the picturesque French weather. Every the doting dad, David embraced his daughter Harper as they boarded a speedboat to take them to the shore. While her second son Romeo enjoyed jet ski ride in the sunshine, Victoria opted for a spot of downtime on the yacht, before changing into a chic yellow satin dress and a matching hat for the outing. The couple traded in their £5million yacht for the much bigger vessel last year, and had been pictured on it sailing around Miami. Amid his own lavish getaway Brooklyn embraced his billionaire father-in-law in snaps from the family getaway to St Tropez, while estranged mum Victoria snubbed him from her own family tribute. He enjoyed a friendly beer with Nelson Peltz, 83, before packing on the PDA with wife Nicola, 31, onboard the businessman's superyacht. Meanwhile back home Victoria honoured her own father-in-law Ted Beckham on his 77th birthday with a family snap, that did not include her eldest son and his wife. She captioned the post: 'Happy birthday @tedbeckham kisses' before going on to tag sons Romeo, Cruz as well as daughter Harper. Nicola shared a slew of final holiday snaps from the couple's lavish trip before heading home to the US. In a snap shared to her Instagram Stories Nicola threw her arms around Brooklyn's neck as they smooched while watching a sunset. She later stunned in a black mini dress as she strutted her stuff on the dance floor before enjoying a lavish fireworks display. The heiress later showcased her jaw-dropping figure as she headed ashore and turned heads in a Chanel crop top which she teamed with a fluffy shrug, despite the scorching weather. Meanwhile another source has claimed that Nicola and Brooklyn will not feature in his mother forthcoming documentary series. The former Spice Girl will take centre stage in a new Netflix docuseries about her day-to-day life as creative director of the eponymous fashion and beauty brand she originally launched in 2008. The source told The Sun: 'The children hardly feature — it's simply not a case of Brooklyn and Nicola being cut, as they weren't in it to start with. 'This is very much a project focussing on Victoria's transaction from pop star to businesswoman and designer.'

Chloe Kelly's proud husband joins sweet tributes after Women's Euros win

The Lionesses have been met with an outpouring of love and appreciation from their nearest and dearest following England's victory at the Women's Euros 2025 Final. After remaining at loggerheads with old rivals Spain for much of the match, the squad finally brought football home with a 3-1 win during penalty shootouts. This was second time lucky for the Lionesses, who were previously beaten by Spain during the 2023 World Cup. Things got off to a shaky start with a missed kick from Beth Mead, but England managed to forge ahead thanks to some sterling work from goalkeeper Hannah Hampton. This gave woman of the match Chloe Kelly the chance to catch up, scoring the winning spot-kick. As the country celebrates, the Lionesses' partners have joined the nation in sharing their pride. Woman of the hour Chloe is married to groundsman and greenkeeper Scott Moore, having reportedly met while she was playing for Everton and married in 2024 after five years of dating. Scott's Instagram account is private, but Chloe reposted his pride-filled Instagram tribute to her own Story after the match ended. 'Speechless once again,' he wrote in the accompanying text, along with two silver heart emojis. 'I'm so grateful to have you by my side,' Chloe added below Scott's picture and words. Women's England Captain Leah Williamson's biggest cheerleader was partner Elle Smith. The former Miss USA winner showed her support in a t-shirt emblazoned with the slogan 'Live, Laugh, Leah.' Although the pair have never confirmed that they are dating, they appeared to 'soft launch' their relationship this year in a series of loved-up social media posts. Leah's supportive partner previously showcased her pride after a match back in May, sharing a black-and-white selfie in which Elle wrapped her arms around Leah from behind. Ashley Hodson, partner of Lauren Hemp, celebrated the team's win by sharing an Instagram Story and a series of pictures to her account. 'Champions babyyy! So proud 🫶🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏆', she wrote in the caption to her post. In these pictures, she and Lauren could be seen standing side by side, with a grinning Ashley holding up the freshly won medal. Meanwhile, in her Instagram Stories, Ashley described Lauren as her 'inspo,' sharing a picture of Lauren holding the trophy aloft. Another image also depicted Lauren mid-celebration, roaring in victory in the wake of the team's win. Lauren has been dating Sheffield United midfielder Hodson since 2023. At the end of a Heineken-filled day, Joe Bunney, boyfriend of Ella Toone (and footballer for Stalybridge Celtic), shared footage from her joyous victory celebration. 'Words don't describe how proud I am of you,' he wrote in one Instagram Story. In the next, he shared a selfie with Ella, writing 'BACK 2 BACK' in the caption, along with two trophy emojis and two red hearts. Vivianne Miedema, the girlfriend of Beth Mead, shared a selfie with partner Beth and Australian footballer Steph Catley. 'Proud proud' the Dutch footballer wrote in the accompanying caption to her Instagram Stories post. She then echoed the sentiment in a post to her main Instagram feed, sharing a snap of Beth sitting on her lap in the wake of the match. More Trending '🥹 proud of you,' she wrote in the accompanying caption. In the comments below, Beth responded: 'Love you ❤️' The football power couple first met while playing for Arsenal and have been together ever since. Got a story?
