Drake cancels postponed Australian shows on Anita Max Win tour
The Canadian rapper, 38, who was in Australia for his Anita Max Win tour in February, abruptly postponed shows in Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland, with a promise of rescheduling.
However, plans to restage the postponed shows have now been scuttled, with promoter Live Nation breaking the news on Thursday.
'Live Nation Australia regrets to inform you that the previously postponed Drake shows in Australia and New Zealand have now been officially cancelled,' they said in a statement.
'Despite extensive efforts to find a solution, rescheduling within the necessary timeframe was not possible.'

The promoter did not dash fans' hopes completely, rounding out the statement with: 'Drake remains committed to returning and performing these shows when his schedule permits.'
It comes after Drake abruptly left Australia a week out from his third Brisbane show, and returned to his native Canada via private jet.
He was due to perform at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 4, before heading back to Sydney for another show at Qudos Bank Arena on March 7.
The Canadian hitmaker was then set to play gigs in Auckland on March 15 and 16.
The news came after the One Dance star partied at popular Brisbane nightclub The Tax Office until 4am following his show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
He then flew to Fiji on his private jet at 6.40am the next morning before heading to Toronto via Hawaii.
Despite the 'scheduling conflict', just days after fleeing Australia, Drake was enjoying what appeared to be a lavish welcome home party.
He shared an image to Instagram that showed his marble kitchen island bench featuring an Anita Max Win-themed triple-tiered cake.
The cake was also festooned with slot machines and coins – a perfect decoration for the gambling enthusiast.
The inviting plate also featured the words 'Anita Max Won' spelled out in what appeared to be cheese.
In a statement to Daily Mail at the time, Live Nation said they were working on rescheduling the remaining Australia and New Zealand tour dates and offered refunds to concertgoers who could not make the new dates.
'We are actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows,' a spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
'All tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but please note that as these shows are sold out, any refunded tickets will be released for sale.
'We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time doing these shows and are excited to return soon.
'We look forward to sharing the rescheduled dates with you as soon as possible.'
Confused fans have expressed their disappointment on social media and claimed the rapper would have known his schedule months in advance.
'Why did Drake just cancel the rest of his tour and fly back to Canada?' one person questioned.
'Drake does this every tour, why are y'all surprised?' another disappointed fan said.
It comes just days after Drake cancelled his live gig at Manchester's Co-op Live arena due to 'travel logistics and unforeseen ferry schedule'.
The Ten Bands hitmaker's performance has now been rescheduled for August 5, with organisers ensuring 'all tickets remain valid for the new date'.

Catfish and the Bottlemen make an explosive comeback for London stadium show as they return to the stage after a tumultuous few years
Oasis aren't the only band to make 2025 the summer of reunions. As fans swarmed to Wembley for the fifth sold out night of the brit pop's duo tour in London, across the capital another rock band were also celebrating their return to the stage. Catfish and the Bottlemen took to the stage at Tottenham Hotspurs stadium on Sunday night for their first show in London since 2019 as part of their comeback 2025 shows. Last year music fans mocked the Welsh rockband, made up of lead singer Van McCann and bassist Benji Blakeway, claiming that their 'ambitious' 2025 arena tour would be overshadowed by the return of Oasis. However despite not selling out, Catfish proved to their loyal fanbase they have still got it as they made their way through their catalogue of hits in an energetic rock and roll performance. Opening with Longshot, the setlist was full of fan favourites including Soundcheck, 7 and Homesick. Catfish proved to their fanbase they have still got it as they made their way through their catalogue of hits in an energetic rock and roll performance at Tottenham stadium on Sunday At one point a dozen inflatable crocodiles were thrown into a crowd, a nod to the artwork of the band's second album, The Ride. Van went on to perform a solo version of Heathrow as well as an acoustic version of Hourglass. A man of few words, the singer kept his addresses to the crowd at a minimum as he thanked fans for their support. Their penultimate song was of course their biggest hit Cocoon before the band delighted fans with their tour debut of Tyrants. The band soared to fame back in 2014 with the release of their debut album The Balcony, featuring hit tracks Cocoon and Kathleen. They went on to win Best British Breakthrough Act at the Brits in 2016 before releasing following albums The Ride that same year and The Balcony in 2019. However it has been a tumultuous few years for the band after original members drummer Bob Hall and guitarist Johnny Bond announced they were leaving the band. Then after an extended break from live shows, Van and Benji returned to the stage at Reading and Leeds Festival last summer. But it wasn't long before they faced backlash once again after they cancelled their show in Dublin last September due to illness, just 15 minutes before doors were due to open at the RDS Simmonscourt venue in Dublin. They also went on to cancel both their US and Australian tour last Autumn. Catfish issued no official statement providing reason for the cancellations and the dates were not rescheduled. However this summer the group have been back playing on home soil performing a sold out gig at Manchester Heaton park and stadium shows in both London and Cardiff.

Dancing with the Stars winner revealed: Unlikely champion beats fan favourites in shock Grand Finale result
Kyle Shilling has walked away from the Dancing with the Stars Grand Finale with the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy. Home and Away actor Kyle was crowned champion alongside his dance partner Lily Cornish on Monday night. Kyle Shilling and Lily Cornish stunned the room with a deeply moving cultural performance to Mo'ju's Native Tongue, with Kyle playing the didgeridoo live. The powerful piece earned a perfect score, with Helen calling it 'one of the best performances' she's ever seen on any series of the show. 'I'm feeling mixed emotions, as it's come to an end,' Kyle said after his win. 'We built such a strong family here and you can see all the beautiful people behind us,' he continued. 'It's amazing to be able to stand here and hold this trophy, knowing all the hard work we put in has paid off.' Kyle was awarded $20,000 for his chosen charity, The Indigenous Literacy Foundation. The fabulous finale began with a dazzling group performance from the professional dancers and the six grand finalists, set to Marcia Hines' 1970s anthem You. First to take the floor was Felicity Ward and Aric Yegudkin, bursting out with a high-energy mix of quickstep and lindy hop. Helen Richey praised Felicity for always giving it her all, calling her a joy to watch. Michael Usher and Natalie Lowe followed with a routine that showcased all the Latin flair he had picked up throughout the series. Mark Wilson told Michael he should be proud of his efforts week after week. Trent Cotchin and Jess Raffa delivered an emotional contemporary routine that Craig Revel Horwood described as strong and layered, with 'a bit of everything'. Brittany Hockley and Craig Monley brought heartfelt emotion to their dance, which was dedicated to Brittany's husband. The routine ended with Brittany signing 'thank you' in Auslan to Craig, who is deaf in his right ear. Sharna Burgess called it 'stunning' and praised Brittany's transformation into a true dancer. Closing the competition with showbiz flair, Shaun Micallef and Ash-Leigh Hunter performed a musical theatre-style show dance that lit up the ballroom. Sharna said the 'entertainment was through the roof' and watching it was 'spectacular'. As the studio audience awaited the final result, they were treated to an unforgettable live performance from Grammy Award winner and The Voice coach Richard Marx, who sang his classic hit Right Here Waiting and his new single Magic Hour. After the audience vote, the final two couples were revealed: Kyle and Lily, and Shaun and Ash-Leigh. Then, in a spectacular finish, hosts Sonia Kruger and Dr Chris Brown announced Kyle and Lily as the 2025 Dancing With The Stars champions.

Snezana Wood steps out wearing unusual bandage as she runs errands with daughter Eve in Melbourne
Snezana Wood was doing a supermarket run with her daughter Eve Markoski-Wood on Monday. The former Bachelor star was sporting an unusual accessory in the form of a square bandage on her neck. The 44-year-old appeared a tad tired as she popped into the local shops in Elsternwick with her teen in tow. Snezana was casually chic in a white shirt underneath a dark wool trench coat, and had on a pair of blue jeans. She opted for a natural makeup look with some winged eyeliner and a soft pink lipstick. It's unclear why the former reality star, who recently dyed her hair to an auburn tone, was wearing the bandage on her neck. Eve, 19, matched her mum, wearing a black and blue ensemble consisting of a loose jumper and jeans. The pair left a Coles supermarket, each carrying a brown paper bag containing their purchases. The sighting comes after Eve opened up about her biological father in a rare and deeply personal public moment that has since gone viral. The teenager broke down in tears during an interview with Dose of Society, which was shared to the popular Instagram page's 1.7 million followers earlier this month. In the raw and unfiltered video, Eve was asked: 'What is the most painful thing anyone has ever said to you?' Her candid response left viewers stunned: 'Probably that I don't deserve the life I'm living.' Wiping away tears, the Melbourne-based teen explained it was her biological dad, Jason Rapoff, who made the comment. 'I don't know why he said that to me. I grew up just with my mum,' she continued. 'She raised me to be the woman I am today. He wanted to see my mum suffer. And I think when he saw that my mum had built a life for both of us, it was just more of a reaction.' Eve revealed she hasn't seen her biological father in eight years and that he was largely absent from her childhood. 'He was never around when I was little, so it was just my mum and I. I was very close to my mum's side. 'Everyone was there to support me. But I think he just did some things a while back that ended him in places he shouldn't have been in. He just got involved with the wrong people,' she said. The heartfelt clip quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of views and comments, with fans flooding the comments section with support and admiration for Eve's strength. When asked what she would say to her mum today, Eve fought back tears again. 'How proud I am of her,' she replied. 'She's done a lot. She sacrificed a lot. She was working nine to five, and after that going to uni. 'She ended up getting her bachelor's in molecular genetics and biology. Seeing how strong she is, how much strength she's got to keep going through all of this - it makes me proud to be my mother's daughter.' Eve, who has grown up largely in the spotlight after Snezana found love with Sam Wood on The Bachelor in 2015, later commented under the clip, offering further insight into how hard it was to speak so vulnerably on camera. 'Thank you so much for letting me share my story,' she wrote. 'I was nervous about how this would be received, especially being vulnerable on social media, knowing how harsh it can be. But the kindness and messages I've received have meant more than I can explain.' Snezana and Jason's short-lived marriage lasted a year before the pair separated in 2005, when Eve was just two months old.
