Updated WTC 2025-27 points table after the 4th India-England Test in Manchester: India remain 4th with 33.33 PCT% after playing a draw against the Ben Stokes-led side.
The fourth Test of the ongoing five-match series between India and England ended in a draw on Sunday (July 27). India trailed by 311 runs after the end of the first innings of both teams, but in the final two days of the game's play at Old Trafford in Manchester, Indian batters stepped up and batted for 143 overs to cancel out England's chances of securing an outright win and seal the series with a scoreline of 3-1.
Shubman Gill (103), Ravindra Jadeja (107*), and Washington Sundar (101*) scored centuries for India in the second innings.
After playing a draw in Manchester, India remain fourth in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 points table. The two-time WTC losing finalists have 16 points to their credit from the available 48, and their PCT% is 33.33.
England also remain third in the points table, but their PCT% has now dropped from 61.11 to 54.16. Ben Stokes' men have 26 points to their credit from the available 48.
2023 WTC winners Australia tops the WTC 2025-27 points table. The Baggy Greens have 36 points and 100 PCT% to their credit after securing a 3-0 series win over the West Indies earlier this month.
They are followed by the Sri Lankan team, which have 66.67 PCT%. Sri Lanka, under the leadership of Dhananjaya de Silva, faced Bangladesh in a two-match Test series at home last month and won the assignment with a scoreline of 1-0.
The fifth and final Test of the ongoing series between India and England will be played at The Oval in London from July 31 to August 4, and if Shubman Gill's men manage to get the better of England in that fixture, then India will rise to third position with 46.66 PCT% and England will drop to 4th position with 43.33 PCT%.

With England seemingly reliant on Ben Stokes with bat and ball, the struggling skipper insisted "pain is just an emotion" as he plans to take to the field for his side's fifth and deciding test against India this week.
