The chef's table will not only offer a closer look at the artistry involved in each dish but also create an interactive experience, they say, where diners can engage with Luke, learn about his inspirations and gain insights into the techniques that define his cooking style.
Surrounded by the "elegant ambiance of Palé Hall", guests will savour dishes that tell a story of place and time, all while indulging in the freshest ingredients sourced from local farms, renowned for the quality of Welsh produce.

'By highlighting the connection between the land and the table, we aim to deepen the appreciation for the culinary arts while fostering a sense of community among our guests.'
Palé Hall is an award-winning Relais & Châteaux country house hotel and restaurant nestling on the edge of the stunning Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
Regarded as one of the UK's greenest hotels, Palé Hall has held a Green Michelin Star since 2021 for its commitment to sustainable practices, which include having its own clean, completely carbon-neutral source of electricity. It was one of the UK's first hotels to receive a Michelin Key Award, denoting a special place to stay, last year.

How Wales is preparing for their Euro 2025 debut in Switzerland
The excitement is palpable in the Wales camp. As we arrived at their Swiss training base of Weinfelden, about an hour's drive north west of Zurich, we were each greeted with a gift. It was, of course, a bucket hat - coloured red, yellow and green - that unmistakable emblem of Welsh football. The team has carried them to Switzerland in bulk, ready to distribute to travelling fans ahead of their Euros group matches. If this heatwave continues, they might well come in handy! As team Wales warm up - in all senses of the word - for their first ever Euros tournament, they know the sweltering temperatures are far from the biggest challenge they will face on the pitch. As debutants, they have been drawn in the so-called 'group of death'. Their first two games will see them up against the Netherlands and then France - both serious title contenders - before they face reigning European champions England. Thirtieth in the world, Wales are the lowest ranked side competing at the Euros this summer. Reaching the knockout stages will be very tough, but that is where this team believes it belongs. Speaking at their first press conference today, the players reiterated that they are not here simply to make up numbers. Rhian Wilkinson's side want to cause some disruption at their first major tournament, and show the world what they can do. Striker Elise Hughes, who plays for WSL side Crystal Palace, said her team was excited to play. 'It's a Wales thing to be an underdog and you we're relishing in that that opportunity," she said. "And you know we want to come here and play in the biggest games, and our group is allowing us to do that, and we'll be more than ready." The players hope to emulate the success of their male counterparts, whose fairytale run to the semi-finals of the Euros in 2016 has gone down in Welsh sporting history. They say they are settling well into their Swiss base camp. 'Where we are staying is very Welsh scenery', said Hughes. 'We feel right at home here.' They won't be getting too comfy just yet, though. They took part in a training session on Tuesday morning, knowing every single moment of preparation will count. Their tournament kicks off on Saturday against previous champions The Netherlands. Despite all the pressure, this is a team determined to enjoy a moment both the players and the country have waited so very long for. So far, insists midfielder Rachel Rowe, 'we are keeping the nerves at bay'.

Santander set to buy TSB for £2.65billion – here's how it may affect five million customers
TSB will be sold to Santander in a move that will affect millions of customers across the country. Santander revealed today it had agreed a deal to acquire the British bank from Sabadell for a whopping £2.65billion. 1 But the deal is not set in stone just yet Credit: Getty Snapping up TSB would be a big win for Santander, giving it the seventh-largest branch network in Britain and adding five million customers to its existing 14million. However, the deal isn't set in stone yet and is still subject to approval by shareholders. If agreed then it's likely to happen in the first three months of 2026. Nothing will change for customers immediately as very little is known about the deal. But customers will be given lots of warning about any changes. That would mean it very much will be business as usual for now. While there are no immediate changes for customers of either bank, they could be introduced in future as the TSB brand is phased out. TSB founded as the Trustee Savings Bank in 1810, merged with Lloyds Bank to create Lloyds TSB in 1995. They could decide to merge the brands or alternatively they could be kept separate. With other mergers we have seen customers being able to access banking services in rival branches and this could be a useful perk. However, these details are still being hammered out by banking bosses. Sabadell - which owns TSB- said it would submit the deal to a shareholders meeting on August 6 for its approval as it is subject to the BBVA offer. Sabadell's shareholders must approve the TSB sale, as it is tied to BBVA's ongoing €14 billion takeover bid. If approved, the deal is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026. Santander beat British rival Barclays which also put in a formal bid for the retail bank. Mike Regnier, boss of Santander UK, said: "This is an excellent deal for customers combining two strong and complementary banks, creating one of the most substantial banks in the UK and materially enhancing the competitiveness of the industry." Marc Armengol, TSB CEO, said: 'TSB is a truly special bank, run by a first-class team that deliver trusted service and support for customers, day in and day out. "Today's announcement represents the next exciting chapter for this successful business, as part of Santander, a highly regarded banking group. "I believe this will prove to be an excellent fit for our loyal customers.'

Major British bank with five million customers set to be sold to high street rival after days of speculation
But the final transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals ALL CHANGE Major British bank with five million customers set to be sold to high street rival after days of speculation A MAJOR British bank with five million customers is set to be sold to a high street rival after days of speculation. Santander have agreed a deal to acquire TSB from Sabadell for a whopping £2.65billion. 2 TSB are set to be integrated into the Santander UK group Credit: Getty 2 Santander are working on completing the £2.65 billion transaction Credit: Getty The bank beat British rival Barclays which also put in a formal bid for the Sabadell-owned unit, according to sources. Santander intends to integrate TSB in the Santander UK group, meaning it would become the second largest bank in the country by personal current account balances. However, the final transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and Sabadell shareholder approval. The full transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026. TSB already boasts a nationwide network of 218 branches and outlets, and a growing digital presence. It serves approximately 5 million customers, primarily in the personal and small business segments, with £34 billion in mortgages and £35 billion in deposits. But with the latest buyout news, TSB combined with Santander would serve nearly 28 million retail and business customers nationwide. And TSB customers will also have access to Santander's international network in a massive boost. This means they can benefit from the group's leading technology platforms. The latest acquisition appears to be another win for Santander as the company strengthens its position in one of its core markets. It comes as Sabadell, which bought TSB in 2015 for £1.7bn, is seeking to fend off an billion-pound hostile approach from its domestic rival BBVA. Santander has in the past year entertained bids from both NatWest and Barclays for its UK retail arm - but ultimately rejected both offers due to disagreements over price. Ana Botín, Banco Santander's executive chair, said: "The acquisition of TSB represents a continuing strategic commitment to our customers in the UK, offering a compelling opportunity that is financially attractive to our shareholders and aligned with Santander's long-term objectives. "It strengthens our franchise in a core market through the acquisition of a low-risk and complementary business that adds to our diversification. "We are creating a stronger and more competitive business across key products such as personal current accounts where the combined business will become the second largest bank in the UK by market share. "The transaction will accelerate our path to greater profitability in the UK and helps achieve a return on tangible equity of 16% by 2028. "The acquisition also reflects our commitment to growing profitably through disciplined capital allocation. This acquisition meets our goal of achieving a return on investment above 20% and EPS accretion from year 1, while consuming limited capital and having low execution risk. "Furthermore, the transaction will not affect Santander's existing distribution policy and 2025 targets.' Meanwhile, CEO of Santander UK, Mike Regnier said: "This is an excellent deal for customers combining two strong and complementary banks, creating one of the most substantial banks in the UK and materially enhancing the competitiveness of the industry. 'At Santander UK we have momentum in our strategy to become the best bank for customers in the UK by investing in technology and service and improving our processes and efficiency. "This deal accelerates our transformation allowing us to enhance our customer proposition and invest more in innovative products and our digital offering, supported by the human touch service so many appreciate, not least in our new branch formats and enhancements across the country. 'We are fully committed to ensuring a seamless integration, by leveraging our market leading technology and significant experience. "Maintaining the highest levels of service for customers across both banks will be a key priority and we will support all colleagues through the transition, as we invest in building a stronger bank for the future'.
