Shah Rukh Khan Shares RARE Pic With AbRam From Mannat On Independence Day: 'Jai Hind'
Independence Day 2025: Shah Rukh Khan wished his fans on the occasion by posting a rare, throwback photo from Mannat with son AbRam. Every year, the superstar hoists the tricolour with his family at his Bandra house. The photo posted by the National Award-winning actor was seemingly taken last year. For the unversed, SRK, wife Gauri Khan, and their family have temporarily moved out of Mannat, owing to the addition of new floors and construction work at Mannat.
Shah Rukh Khan wore a white T-shirt with denim for his flag hoisting ceremony at Mannat. Last year, he made a surprise appearance for fans and waved to them after hoisting the tricolour and swiftly moved back to his house as a crowd steadily started to gather. Little AbRam also stood beside his father.

She added, 'On this 79th Independence Day, as we celebrate our nation's freedom, I hope we also open our hearts to the freedom every living being deserves.' Actor Wamiqa Gabbi has spoken up in light of the recent Supreme Court ruling on stray dogs in Delhi and NCR. The court has directed authorities to capture strays, place them in pounds, and prevent their release back into public spaces, a move that has sparked fresh debate around animal rights and public safety in India. Gabbi, who has rescued and rehabilitated several dogs at her Mumbai home, shared a heartfelt Independence Day post with her pets - Laila, Jugnu, Gabbar, Milie, Julie, and Fluky. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD The actress wrote- 'Say hello to my fellow Indian beings Laila, Jugnu, Gabbar, Milie, Julie and Fluky and few others I met randomly 🐶🇮🇳 These little souls once roamed the streets, searching for scraps and safety. Today, they are my family, my joy, and my constant reminder of unconditional love.' She added, 'On this 79th Independence Day, as we celebrate our nation's freedom, I hope we also open our hearts to the freedom every living being deserves — the freedom to live without fear, with dignity, and with love. The truth is if the procedures around rehabilitation of stray dogs was methodical and far more organised we wouldn't be going through such a polarising concern.' 'This unfortunate stamp of 'menace and nuisance' is not for them, it's for us humans ! Let's celebrate not just our independence, but the independence of mind, body, and soul for these voiceless souls who give us so much, yet ask for so bare minimum ' compassion' ! India mein rehne vaale sab jaanwar kya Indians nahin hain?' concluded Wamiqa. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD

Box Office: War 2 (Hindi) scores underwhelming results in extended opening weekend; Hrithik – NTR film nets Rs 125 crore in 4 days
The Hrithik Roshan and NTR led War 2 has seen sub-par results in its extended opening weekend as the Ayan Mukerji directorial has collected Rs 125 crore over the four-day run in Hindi. The YRF Spy Universe film opened below expectations at Rs 28 crore on a working Thursday, but the 55 percent spike to Rs 45 crore on Independence Day gave some hope. However, the film underperformed with Rs 26 crore each on Saturday and Sunday. Through the weekend, War 2 has collected Rs 60 crore in the top 3 national chains – PVRInox and Cinepolis – contributing about 48 percent to the total business. The remaining business came in from the non-national chains and single screens. War 2 just couldn't gain any momentum over the weekend, and that's a result of the not-so-good audience word of mouth. The film has done the best business in Hindi, as the Telugu version stayed low with 4-day nett business estimated to be around the Rs 42 crore mark. The all India weekend nett falls in the vicinity of Rs 170 crore, and in an ideal world, this should have been done in 2 days flat. War 2 primarily got hit due to multiple factors – ranging from assets not landing right, to the content not leaving a mark – but one must appreciate the production house, Yash Raj Films, as also the leading man Hrithik Roshan for not opting for the malpractices of self-buying tickets to safeguard the opening weekend. In today's world, it's easy to buy tickets in advance as also through the day for managing the perception, but the team of War 2 has stayed away from these gimmicks, accepting the fate with grace. War 2 (Hindi) Opening Weekend Box Office Thursday: Rs 28 crore Friday: Rs 45 crore Saturday: Rs 26 crore Sunday: Rs 26 crore (Estimates) Total: Rs 125 crore
