South African actress and filmmaker Simoné Pretorius and her husband, Andries Levi Pretorius, have welcomed their third child into the world. The couple, who married in 2019, are already proud parents to daughter Harper and son James.
In a 2023 interview with "Showmax Stories", Simoné revealed that she was expecting her second child in January 2024. Simoné shared the heart-warming news on Instagram, posting a photo captioned: How it started versus how it's going.
The post reflects her journey from anticipation to the arrival of their newest family member.

Simoné isn't alone in this new chapter of motherhood.
Former Miss South Africa and medical doctor Tamaryn Green is also basking in the glow of new motherhood. The model announced her pregnancy in August last year.
She and her husband, Ze Nxumalo, welcomed their baby girl on January 28.
Sharing a photo of herself cradling her baby, Green wrote, "In my arms, I hold the world. 🙂Every late night, every tear, every smile, this journey of motherhood has been the most incredible chapter of my life. She shared: 'I was accidentally tripped by a tourist while she was taking photographs. While on the stairs from the lighthouse at Cape Point, she walked backward into me, tripping me down two steps. She tried to get the lighthouse in focus and took one step too far'. The beauty queen dislocated both her ankles and had to undergo an intensive rehabilitation programme. Drunk Presley Chweneyagae clips go viral after booze, party claims
Shortly after Warren Masemola made indirect comments about Presley Chweneyagae's love of partying and alcohol, a clip of the late actor intoxicated at a groove resurfaced on social media. Masemola spoke about his late industry colleague at his funeral service on Saturday, 7 June. The 40-year-old was married to his wife, Charlaine, the mother of his children. His cause of death was attributed to 'natural causes'. Lowvelders sip and savour on local selections at Unwined
Lowvelders sip and savour on local selections at Unwined Lowvelders sipped away on SA's best wines at Mbombela Golf Club on Saturday. This was the biggest Unwined event yet with over 600 people attending and 27 South African wineries from the Cape represented. Attendees were welcomed with a complimentary wine glass and a bottle of water from one of the main sponsors, Valpré. Small tables and chairs invited the guests to sit and enjoy the beautiful view over the mountains and fill their glasses with new and unknown flavours. Big names like Jakkalsvlei, Beyerskloof, Nederburg and Durbanville Hills were among the wineries the guests tasted from. ALSO READ: Music and wine under the African night sky with Kruger Untamed The atmosphere was vibrant with live music from local band, Havanna, and people enjoying the afternoon with family and friends. Food stalls like Halloumi Hub, Johnny's Fries and Prego House paired well with the wines and kept guests wanting more.
