Offline placement drive held at Panchayat Samiti Lakhni for security sector jobs

Bhandara: A special employment recruitment fair was conducted on July 16, from 11am to 3pm at Panchayat Samiti Lakhni by the District Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Centre, Bhandara, to provide employment opportunities to job seekers in the security sector of the district.
As per information provided by the Bhandara district officials, the recruitment drive was organised by a Hyderabad-based company.
Ashwini Mohture, president of Panchayat Samiti Lakhni, Dr Sudhakar Zhalke, assistant commissioner, district skill development, employment and entrepreneurship guidance centre, Bhandara, and Ashalata Walde, junior skill development, employment and entrepreneurship guidance officer, were present on the dais.
In all, 52 candidates attended the recruitment fair, of which 34 candidates were selected and were handed appointment letters by the present dignitaries.
Zhalke, assistant commissioner, addressed the candidates, stating that large-scale employment opportunities are available in the private sector and candidates should take advantage of them. He emphasised that candidates should develop their skills and prove themselves.
The private sector has a high demand for skilled manpower with abundant employment opportunities available. He also advised candidates to continue preparing for competitive exams to secure govt jobs and provided detailed guidance on recognising one's strengths and weaknesses to progress in the right direction.
The successful conduct of the employment fair was made possible under the guidance of Zhalke with the cooperation of SK Syed, senior clerk, Walde, Priya Makode, senior clerk, Suhas Bondre, district coordinator, Aijaz Sheikh, peon, from the District Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Centre, Bhandara office, along with officers and staff of Panchayat Samiti Lakhni.
