The Arab Parliamentary Union called on Saturday for a "unified Arab action" to hold the international community accountable for its legal and moral responsibilities regarding the ongoing genocide being perpetrated in the Gaza Strip.

Doha – Saba: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) warned that the Israeli army chief of staff's reported approval on Sunday of plans to occupy Gaza City and accelerate military operations there amounts to a declaration of a new wave of genocide and forced displacement against hundreds of thousands of residents and displaced persons in the city. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Hamas said: 'This criminal declaration to commit a major war crime in Gaza City epitomizes Zionist arrogance, contempt for international law, and determination to press ahead with ongoing genocide that has lasted for more than 22 months, under U.S. complicity and amid shameful global silence and inaction.'
