Melbourne Concert Draws Just 700 People
Neha Kakkar Hits Back With Her Side
After Melbourne organisers claimed Neha Kakkar refused to perform for 700 people, citing it as the reason for her late arrival, the singer responded. Neha posted a video on her Instagram Stories, showing that she was met with only love from the audience."Hi, you want to know what actually happened at the Melbourne show, right? Let me show you." The video then transitions to vibrant scenes of the concert, with a cheering crowd dancing and singing along as Neha performs her hit numbers. Sharing this video, the singer wrote, "Thank you Melbourne!."In another post, Neha wrote, "Can't forget the love you showered Melbourne."A few days ago, Australian event organisers Pace D and Bikram Singh Randhawa denied Neha's version of the story. Her first show in Sydney, attended by 1500-2000 people, went smoothly. The second show, held the following day in Melbourne, had only 700 attendees, and Neha arrived three hours late. Pace D and Bikram Singh Randhawa explained that the crowd was very angry due to the long wait, adding that people had paid around 300 AUD (approximately Rs 16,000) for the event. They claimed that Neha refused to perform and told the organisers to fill up the venue. "What I learned from the organiser was that she said, 'There are just 700 people, so until you fill up the stadium, I won't perform,'" they alleged.Neha Kakkar, reportedly, arrived three hours late at a concert in Melbourne, where a viral video showed her being booed on stage. After facing backlash online, Neha claimed the organisers took her money and failed to provide her team with food, shelter, and other basic facilities in Melbourne.
