Belichick is set to appear on ABC's 'Good Morning America' on Friday morning for an interview with host Michael Strahan.

The legendary Patriots coach's last TV interview came on 'CBS Sunday Morning' and infamously didn't go well.
The UNC football head coach was asked a simple question about how he and his girlfriend, 24, met, and Hudson wasn't having any of it as she awkwardly intervened from off-screen and shut down the question, saying, 'We're not talking about this.'

Hudson, at one point, stormed out of the interview and delayed the entire operation for about 30 minutes.
The question this time around for Belichick's newest interview is whether or not Hudson will play any role.
With Hudson's involvement in so much of Belichick's career recently, many would expect that she would be in attendance for the interview this time, too.

The fallout from the interview left many, including Belichick's family, delving further into Hudson and her role with the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach.
Last week, it was reported by ex-ESPNer Pablo Torre, after speaking with nearly a dozen sources, that Hudson was being banned from UNC's facilities and practices.
The university then responded by saying that 'While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities. Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick's personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.'

The latter half of that statement saying that Hudson will manage her 73-year-old boyfriend's 'personal brand' could be crucial in determining whether or not she has any involvement in the terms and agreements of Belichick's interview with Strahan, the NFL Hall of Famer.
Strahan, who beat Belichick's Patriots with the Giants in Super Bowl XLII, will be tasked with asking the questions people want answered.
The CBS interview will air Friday, and is sure to break the internet no matter what narratives or new viral moments come from it.

He planted a seed in me that represented the great possibility. And because I believed in great possibility, I kept at it and never gave up. I kept honing my craft. I kept on keeping on. Actor Jonathan Joss Dies at 59

Credit - Ben Cohen—NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal/Getty Images Actor Jonathan Joss, best known for his portrayal of Native American characters in television and film, died at age 59 after being shot near his home in Texas on Sunday. Police were reportedly dispatched to a shooting in progress along Dorsey Drive in San Antonio at around 7 p.m. and, upon arrival, found a wounded Joss near the road. San Antonio police said in a statement that officers 'attempted life-saving measures' until the arrival of paramedics, who eventually pronounced Joss dead. Tristan Kern de Gonzales, Joss' husband after the pair married earlier this year on Valentine's Day, confirmed the actor's death to the Associated Press. De Gonzales posted a statement on Facebook after Joss' death, saying that the two were checking the mail at a former residence when the shooting happened. 'That home was burned down after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us they would set it on fire,' the statement said. 'We reported these threats to law enforcement multiple times and nothing was done.' While living there, they regularly experienced 'openly homophobic' harassment, he claimed. Joss had told local news in January, after the 'house [he] grew up in' had been burned down while he and his partner were away, was 'vandalized.' In addition to damaging the property, the fire reportedly killed three of Joss' dogs. Joss' husband said in the statement after Joss' death that a man approached them while they were checking for mail at the property and began yelling 'violent homophobic slurs' at them before raising a gun and firing. 'Jonathan and I had no weapons,' de Gonzales said. 'We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life.' 'He was murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other,' de Gonzales alleged. San Antonio police said in a statement: 'Despite online claims of this being a hate crime, currently the investigation has found no evidence to indicate that the Mr. Joss's murder was related to his sexual orientation.' The statement added: 'SAPD investigators handle these allegations very seriously and have thoroughly reviewed all available information. Should any new evidence come to light, the suspect will be charged accordingly,' Authorities arrested Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez, 56, and charged him with first-degree murder, according to county records. TMZ reported that Joss and his neighbor had experienced 'both verbal and physical fights in the past' and 'tensions between the two men had been building for years.' Joss began his acting career in 1994 with roles in episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger, as well as in movies like 8 Seconds, according to his IMDB page. In both the 1996 miniseries Dead Man's Walk and 2008 miniseries Comanche Moon, based on the Western novels by Larry McMurtry, Joss portrayed the character Kicking Wolf. Joss, who is of Apache and Comanche descent, said in 2008, 'I loved how Kicking Wolf wasn't your typical stoic Native American. He was allowed to smile and add some humor to the story.' Joss went on to play Ken Hotate, the comical and clever tribal leader of the fictional Wamapoke people, in five episodes of NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation between 2011 and 2015. 'He is so funny,' fellow show actor Aubrey Plaza told San Antonio local news in 2014. 'His relationship with Leslie Knope [Amy Poehler] is one of the funniest dynamics because of how weird their exchanges are. Jonathan is a really talented improviser. He's always making us crack up.' In a statement to People on Monday, Parks and Recreation co-star Nick Offerman said of Joss' death: 'The cast has been texting together about it all day and we're just heartbroken. Jonathan was such a sweet guy and we loved having him as our Chief Ken Hotate. A terrible tragedy.' Perhaps Joss' most famous acting credit was voicing the character John Redcorn in animated sitcom King of the Hill, which aired on Fox for 13 seasons from 1997 to 2009. He took over the role from Victor Aaron in the show's second season after Aaron died in a car accident. A reboot of King of the Hill is scheduled to premiere in August, and Joss had reportedly already begun recording lines for it. Just days before his death, Joss appeared at a panel about the reboot on May 30 in Austin, Texas, where he spoke from the audience after expressing disappointment on social media in April for not being invited to speak on the panel. 'This show was a part of my life for many years. That character, that voice, that story … they were my home, my pride, my connection to something bigger than myself,' Joss posted on Facebook on April 21. 'To not be invited felt like being shut out of a place I helped build.' In an update about a week later, he posted: 'I heard back from Disney, and while the King of the Hill panel will be focusing on series regulars, I truly appreciate them taking the time to reach out to me personally. It means a lot.' At the event on Friday, video on social media showed, Joss took to a microphone in the crowd and said: 'I'm an actor. I see a mic; I use it. I see a wrong; I make it right.' He went on to say, seemingly of his character and himself, 'For Johnny, he gave you guys a character because he is that character, he is that person.' Joss was reportedly escorted by security from the event. 'Jonathan Joss brought King of the Hill's 'John Redcorn' to life for over a dozen seasons, including in the upcoming revival,' Mike Judge, Greg Daniels, and Saladin Patterson said in a statement on Monday, according to Variety. 'His voice will be missed at 'King of the Hill,' and we extend our deepest condolences to Jonathan's friends and family.' While a GoFundMe drive set up by a fan to support Joss and his husband after the burning down of their home in January has begun to receive more donations since the news of Joss' death, a message posted to Joss' Facebook account seemingly from de Gonzales said: 'There's not a need to donate to the gofundme. But I want everyone to remember the joy and love Jonathan has brought and will continue to bring forever. … Instead of donating Jonathan and I would both rather you spread the word about the consistent injustice done to him, to us, and to our dogs. Spirit's Shuffle Another coaching change in Washington Stop me if you've heard this one before: The Washington Spirit have changed coaches. Advertisement Two-time UEFA Champions League-winning coach Jonatan Giráldez is headed to OL Lyonnes, another club under owner Michele Kang's umbrella. Let's start with the news. After just 377 days in charge of the Spirit, Giráldez will join the eight-time champions of Europe starting this summer. The 33-year-old is leaving the NWSL club halfway through the season. Sources close to Kang told The Athletic this was not a preplanned move and that it came about when Lyonnes' former coach, Joe Montemurro, made it clear he was going to leave the club after just one season. The Australia women's national team announced it hired Montemurro earlier today. Assistant Spirit coach Adrián González, who led the team through a successful 15 matches last season while Giraldéz finished his Champions League run with Barcelona, will step into the managing role on July 18. Advertisement I've covered the Spirit in some capacity since 2015. If I had a nickel for every coaching change I've seen in that decade, I'd have nine. NINE! Sure, it's not enough to afford the new Inciardi art prints the team sells on game day, but that's still a lot of change for one team. Those changes include coaches dismissed for misconduct, interims, a single-game stint by Angela Salem in the ill-fated 2022 season and now the give-and-go situation happening with Giráldez and González. Spirit forward Trinity Rodman, one of the faces of NWSL, has yet to have a single coach for more than one season at her club. When I asked her at the end of last year how the team was able to get to two NWSL championships (winning one), she took an approach à la Bane's 'I was born in it' comment in 'The Dark Knight Rises': 'It's almost scarier when it's smooth sailing,' she said. What to expect from González González is no stranger to Washington. In fact, he might be one of the most consistent head coaches in the last few years, even if some of that time was spent as both an interim and assistant coach. Advertisement González led Washington through preseason last year and to a 10-1-4 record through the first fifteen games. He helped the team to some of its best expected goal stats since 2021. (He did so with a healthy roster, something the Spirit haven't had recently.) During the Olympic break last year, Giráldez took over. He built on González's strong start to lead the Spirit to the 2024 NWSL Championship, which they lost 1-0 to the Orlando Pride. Now, a year later, the reverse will happen. The Spirit have dealt with a spate of injuries this season, headlined by Rodman, but are currently fourth in the NWSL table with a record of 6-1-3, five points behind No. 1 Kansas City Current. González will have the international break, starting June 23, to reset with the team. However, the organization saw his familiarity with the players as a positive. Kang said González 'knows the team and has earned this organization's trust.' Advertisement Is this a bad thing? Multi-club models have long been seen as corporate cash grabs at best and sportswashing at worst (on the men's side). Kang has been well aware of that perception since she first looked to create Kynisca Sports International, a multi-team global women's soccer organization, by purchasing OL Lyonnes in 2023. She later purchased the only independently owned team in England's second tier of women's soccer, and her investment helped the team get promoted to the WSL. The businesswoman told Forbes last year that the multi-club model is a 'necessity' in the women's game, especially when it comes to resource sharing. However, Kang has made it clear that players don't fall into that category. Advertisement Despite the awkward optics here, González has a strong track record as Washington's coach, so Kang seems to be keeping up her promise not to sacrifice the good of one team for the other. And she isn't the only one expanding, as Kansas City Current owners Angie and Chris Long showed last week with their investment in Danish club HB Koge. Whether women's soccer is paving a new way forward or adopting the bad habits from the men's side will take time to become clear. USWNT's Core Values Hayes' team 'on track' for June deadline Head coach Emma Hayes said last week that the USWNT is still 'on track' to meet her June deadline for establishing a core group of players that will lead the U.S. in World Cup qualifying next year. She's even found the space to start developing the under-23 group the way she hoped she could at the start of the year (more on that in a sec). Advertisement Despite not having Triple Espresso (Rodman, Sophia Wilson and Mallory Swanson), this team isn't totally without its caffeine. Sam Coffey scored her second U.S. goal with a wonder strike in the team's 3-0 win over China on Saturday. Coffey — who leads with devotion, as she recently told Tamerra — is part of a midfield that's finally jelling, alongside Lindsey Heaps and Lily Yohannes. The team also has its 'security blanket' back with the return of Naomi Girma. A fun aside: Coffey's game-worn jersey from the match, along with several other U.S. players' jerseys, were up for auction during the game (and there's still time to bid). Coffey's jersey is currently a great value pick for a goal scorer. Advertisement Keep an eye out for the youths Hayes has been as adamant about developing this younger national team as she has been about narrowing down her group for 2027 World Cup qualifying. She sees the two projects as interdependent. That's why players like Jaedyn Shaw (20 years old), Korbin Albert (21) and Mia Fishel (24), who have senior caps (and in Shaw and Albert's case, Olympic gold medals), were named to this camp. This is your reminder to start paying attention to the U-23s, made up almost entirely of professional players, during this camp. They played in two very fun (and refreshingly well-attended!) matches against Germany near Stuttgart on Friday and again today. The teams split results, each side claiming a dramatic 2-1 victory sealed in the final minutes. Ironically, in the May 30 match, it was Evelyn Shores — the only collegiate player on the roster — who netted the go-ahead in the dying seconds of stoppage time to give the U.S. the win. Advertisement Today, in the second fixture, Albert converted a penalty drawn by the Portland Thorns' Caiya Hanks to get the U.S. on the board. But this time, German midfielder Tuana Mahmoud was the national hero with a soaring strike that U.S. and Bay FC goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz managed to only get a few fingers on. Props to the German Football Federation for streaming both matches on YouTube. What to Watch 📺 USWNT vs. Jamaica The U.S. closes this window with a friendly against Jamaica at Energizer Park in St. Louis, Mo. The game was originally scheduled to be a second against China but had to be changed due to a scheduling conflict for the Chinese. Full Time First Looks Never too late: USWNT midfielder Lo'eau LaBonta became the oldest player to debut for the U.S. women when the 32-year-old took the field in place of the 17-year-old Yohannes on Saturday. Meg Linehan caught up with the KC captain last week to discuss her first call-up. Teaming up: The Mexican Football Federation will join the U.S. as co-host for the 2031 Women's World Cup, a federation spokesperson confirmed to on Friday. The two nations originally went in on a 2027 bid before backing out. Brazil will host that year's tournament.
