3 seriously injured in crash in Union Park neighborhood
DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department says three people sustained serious injuries in a crash in the Union Park neighborhood.
In a DMPD post on X, DMPD and DMFD crews were called to a multi-vehicle crash with injury at East 14th Street and Wilson Avenue just after 9 p.m.
DMPD releases name of man killed in southside crash
Callers report that two motorcycles were involved in the crash, with multiple people injured, according to the DMPD post.
In a DMPD post on X shortly after, DMPD officers reported three people were being transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
As of 9:19 p.m., DMPD officers have temporarily closed East 14th Street from Wilson Avenue to Mattern Avenue while crews are responding to the scene.
