'THE KIND OF COMMENTS I HAVE RECEIVED HAVE BEEN BRUTAL'
The actor recalls a moment early in her career that shook her. 'About four years ago, I wore a risqué gown to a film award function.
The kind of comments I received were brutal. I remember waking up in the middle of the night to check what new hate had landed on my wall. It deeply affected me at the time — I shudder to think how much space it took up in my mind. But thankfully, I had the right kind of people around me, who helped me snap out of it.
That was the last time I let trolls get to me. I care two hoots about being trolled now. At home, we were raised to see the good in people.
