You won't believe how much Kapil Sharma charges for a single episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, you can buy a luxurious flat in Mumbai for this price
In the world of comedy, there is an array of comedians who are carving a niche for themselves in this space. But out of the many comedians, one person who stands out the most, not just for keeping the audience entertained but also owning the stage, is Kapil Sharma. With the new season of his show, The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3, Kapil is once again in the limelight, not just for what's coming next in his show but also for the whopping fees he charges.
If reports are to be believed, Kapil reportedly charged around Rs 5 crores per episode for the first season of his show. The season featured 13 episodes, attributing to Rs. 65 crores as his total earnings from the first season. However, these reports are not confirmed by Netflix officially.
The second season came out in the year 2024 from the 21st of September to 14 December. Following the same format, this season has featured 13 episodes wherein Kapil Sharma charged Rs. 5 crores for each episode. Totaling to Rs. 65 crores.
Now the third episode of the season is also out, and it is expected to maintain the same number of episodes. If Kapil's charges remain consistent, he would be earning another Rs 65 crores this season, making a total of a whopping Rs 195 crores.
The first episode of season 3 came out on June 21 on Netflix, and the first guest was none other than the 'Bhai Jaan' of Bollywood – Salman Khan. Salman Khan further added star power to the already electric launch. Salman was joined by regulars like Navjot Singh Sidhu, Archana Puran Singh, and Krushna Abhishek for a laughter-packed episode.
Archana Puran Singh, who has been a fixed member of Kapil's shows, replaced Sidhu in 2019. Archana reportedly earns between ₹10 to ₹12 lakh per episode. Meanwhile, Sunil Grover, who returned to the team, is said to be charging ₹25 lakh per episode, and Kiku Sharda is reportedly earning around ₹7 lakh per episode, as per The Economic Times.

Director Sanjay Gupta Hints Bollywood Fakes Box Office Numbers; Fans Ask, 'Sitaare Zameen Par?'
Last Updated: Due to the post's timing, netizens on Reddit think Sanjay Gupta took a dig at Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par. Director and producer Sanjay Gupta has hinted in his latest X post that Bollywood might be faking its box office numbers. He wrote a cryptic post, sarcastically praising the film industry for delivering constant hits. His post caught everyone's attention, and on social media sites like Reddit, people are guessing if he took a dig at Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par. Sanjay Gupta wrote, 'We are living in such wonderful times… No film bombs at the box office. They all open to wonderful numbers. Sab changa hai 🙃🙃🙃." Due to the post's timing, netizens on Reddit think the post is a dig at Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par, which was released on June 20. One comment read, 'I think it was for Sitaare Zameen Par." Another read, 'Sitaare Zameen Par box office numbers giving sleepless nights to keyboard warriors." A few days later, Sanjay posted, 'For me, a sequel right up there with GODFATHER 2 was TERMINATOR 2. It was all and much more I wanted to see in a sequel. I'm just so glad I didn't watch a single one after T2. They were all so terrible." For me, a sequel right up there with GODFATHER 2 was TERMINATOR 2. It was all and much more I wanted to see in a sequel.I'm just so glad I didn't watch a single one after T 2. They were all so terrible.— Sanjay Gupta (@_SanjayGupta) June 23, 2025 Meanwhile, Aamir Khan's film Sitaare Zameen Par is shining bright at the box office. After just three days in theatres, the heartwarming sports comedy has raked in a solid Rs 57 crore net in India, according to Sacnilk. Directed by RS Prasanna and also starring Genelia Deshmukh, the film had a strong weekend run. Sitaare Zameen Par has been receiving a good response from the audience and critics alike for its emotional depth and powerful storytelling. Sitaare Zameen Par is inching closer to surpassing the lifetime India collection of Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha, which had wrapped up at Rs 61.36 crore. The film has already outperformed Kesari Chapter 2 (Rs 29.5 crore) and Sunny Deol's Jaat (Rs 26.25 crore) in just its first weekend. However, it still trails behind the likes of Salman Khan's Sikandar, which raked in Rs 74.5 crore in its opening weekend, and Akshay Kumar's Sky Force, which clocked Rs 62.25 crore. News18 gave 3.5 rating to Sitaare Zameen Par. A part of our review read, 'Unlike Taare Zameen Par's Nikumbh, Gulshan isn't perfect. This is a flawed, man-child character, dealing with his own traumas, learning to navigate life with the help of those who suffer developmental delays. So far, on paper, Sitaare Zameen Par seems rather fantastic, novel, and heartfelt. And don't get us wrong — it definitely is all of that. But it also has its share of flaws that become a bump in its path to becoming a great film. To start with, at 2 hours 39 minutes, the film appears to be an extremely long and slow-moving affair." Meet actor whose fee has jumped from Rs 5000 to Rs 900000000 in just..., his name is..., net worth is Rs...
Several actors in the Bollywood industry are millionaires today, but at the beginning of their careers, they likely never imagined they would reach such heights. Today, we're talking about one such actor who started his journey with a fee of just Rs 5,000 and now charges Rs 90 crore per film. He is one of the most successful and beloved actors in the industry. He releases around four films in a year; however, the ratio of hit movies is lower. His career is currently going through a rough phase, as he has been searching for a hit for quite some time. Still, his journey remains incredibly inspiring as he has accomplished milestones that are difficult for most to match. We are talking about Akshay Kumar! He began his career in 1991 with the film Saugandh. Before entering Bollywood, he trained in martial arts and also worked as a chef in Bangkok. Having started his journey with modelling, Akshay has made some interesting revelations about his early life. In an interview with Pinkvilla , he shared that his first salary was Rs 5,001 for the film 'Deedar', released in 1992. Pramod Chakraborty gave him a cheque of Rs 5K, but the actor signed this film for Rs 50,000. However, his fees have increased a lot in his 33-year career. Akshay was quoted in 2017, telling the leading tabloid, 'Much to my surprise, he (Pramod Chakravorty) gave me my first cheque, signed me up for three films, immediately. Right away. He gave me a cheque of Rs 5000, for the first film, Rs 50,000, for second film, and the third cheque had Rs 1.5 lakh on it. The exact time he gave me those cheques was 6 o'clock in the evening. It would have been a disaster if I had gone to Bangalore. Today, I would be a retired model somewhere. So yes, whatever happens is for the good.' Akshay Kumar himself believes that it is 70% luck and 30% hard work. In his career, the actor has given many hit, semi-hit, flop and blockbuster films. It is said that he charged Rs 145 crore for his last film 'Kesari Chapter 2'. Some time ago, a Forbes report on Akshay Kumar's wealth was released, revealing that his total net worth is Rs 2,700 crore. Despite delivering a series of flop films, he continues to be in high demand among directors.
