The Great British Sewing Bee star makes 'sexy' underwear confession
Patrick Grant, judge on The Great British Sewing Bee, was questioned about a potential future challenge on the show and was left a momentarily speechless.
The Scottish clothier, 53, has returned with the competition for its 11th season with co-judge Esme Young and host Sara Pascoe.
Despite the programme's history of unique and inventive challenges, there's one that hasn't yet been tackled.
This was brought up by The One Show hosts Alex Scott and Roman Kemp, leaving Patrick lost for words.
When Alex asked him about the possibility of reintroducing Y-fronts as a challenge, Patrick started to respond but quickly stopped himself, joking: "I can't say."
However, he did confess: "I'm a big fan of the Y front," describing them as "comfy" and "sexy". He added: "You've never been more comfortable than the Y-fronts," reports the Express.
Referring to his ethical clothing brand Community Clothing, Patrick continued: "Community Clothing, we do normal pants and boxers which is what everybody wears but I'm like, let's get the Y-fronts back."
In addition, Patrick hinted at an upcoming challenge centred around reusing and recycling fabric, insisting it's a "great" one.
He revealed: "At some of these big festivals, 40-50,000 tents get left behind. When we were researching this challenge, I Googled how much you could get a tent for and on a cheap website you could get one for £5.70.
"Tents have essentially become single-use plastic, they are 100% plastic, you could use it for a weekend and leave it behind. But where does all that fabric go?"
He continued: "Our contestants made some amazing stuff. They have to make a festival outfit out of the tents left behind at last year's festivals."
Discussing the diverse backgrounds of the contestants on The One Show, Patrick shared with hosts Alex and Roman: "They're an amazing bunch with a brilliant eye and just the loveliest people."
This update follows the introduction of new challenges for the contestants on The Great British Sewing Bee during Korea Week, which paid homage to the country's rich fashion and textile heritage.
Patrick hinted at future excitement, revealing to RadioTimes.com: "There's another great one next year. It's a really good set of challenges.
"I really enjoy the international weeks because I really enjoy finding out about the kind of ins and outs of their culture and their clothing traditions," he expressed to the outlet.
"And I think the audience really like it too. We've had some amazing ones over the years."
The Great British Sewing Bee is broadcast on Tuesdays at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.

Lorraine Kelly 'leaving' ITV amid broadcaster's brutal job cuts
Lorraine Kelly 'leaving' ITV amid broadcaster's brutal job cuts Lorraine Kelly is reportedly set to leave ITV when her contract ends next year Lorraine Kelly is reportedly preparing to quit ITV when her current deal concludes next year, according to insiders. The 65-year-old broadcaster was said to be furious earlier this year after ITV revealed that her programme would be slashed to just 30 weeks in 2026, down from the standard 52-week run. From January onwards, her show will also face a cut in duration, broadcasting from 9.30am to 10am only - 30 minutes shorter than her current hour-long show. It's now being reported that the Scottish television personality has decided to sever ties with the broadcaster when her current contract expires next year. Wales Online has contacted representatives of Lorraine and ITV for comment. A consultation process is presently underway to determine who will face the impact of ITV's stringent budget reductions, reports the Daily Star. Lorraine Kelly's ITV show has faced many cuts this year (Image: ITV) A source revealed to the Mail Online: "Lorraine sees it as the end. She's got a year left on her contract, which she will honour, but beyond that there are no plans for her to stay. She will be leaving. "Of course, she will be fine, she has loads of money. But some of the people who work for her have done so for many years and have put up with her demands for a long, long time. Yet they will struggle to ever get another job in the television industry." Although her role appears secure, Lorraine is thought to be ready to step away from presenting duties after 15 years leading her programme. This restructuring might also affect Lorraine's well-liked replacement hosts Christine Lampard and Ranvir Singh, whose opportunities to present the show could be significantly diminished. Lorraine has been hosting her show for 15 years (Image: ITV) The news comes after Lorraine, who hails from Glasgow, celebrated four decades in television with a special edition of her morning programme, which broadcasts after Good Morning Britain on ITV1 and ITVX. Article continues below Despite the cutbacks, Richard Madeley is reportedly retaining his job as a presenter on Good Morning Britain. The veteran broadcaster recently signed a new, short-term contract that will see him continue to front the show for at least another six months. Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV1 at 9am
