Saviynt Study: Majority of Cybersecurity Professionals See AI Certifications as Career Boost Amid Global Talent Shortage

Business Wire28-05-2025

BANGALORE, India--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Saviynt, a leading provider of cloud-native identity and governance platform solutions, today released findings from its Identity Security for the AI Age (ISAA) program survey. The most striking insight: 94% of learners believe employers prefer hiring professionals with certifications – highlighting the growing importance of credentials in the evolving identity security landscape.
To directly address this growing desire from employers, Saviynt launched the no cost ISAA certification program, designed to equip learners with foundational identity security knowledge and practical insights into AI and machine learning (ML). The goal is to empower professionals with the expertise needed to counter evolving threats while helping close the cybersecurity talent deficit.
Designed to offer a faster and more accessible path to cybersecurity training, the ISAA certification is helping early-career professionals and university students gain in-demand skills, while accelerating the development of identity-aware cybersecurity teams amid a global talent shortage.
In parallel, Saviynt is working closely with universities in India and the U.S. to help students bridge the cybersecurity and identity security skill gap right at the grassroots level. By integrating ISAA training into academic programs, Saviynt is building a pipeline of talent ready to secure the digital future.
Saviynt's ISAA program survey – based on responses from over 500 recent graduates and early professionals – also uncovered several other key findings. These include pressing talent demands and emerging trends shaping the future of cybersecurity career development:
69% already hold cybersecurity certifications, proving even seasoned professionals seek cutting-edge training.
94% of learners intend to pursue advanced certifications, showing strong belief in credentialing as a career asset.
33% of respondents were Solutions Specialists, reflecting demand for hands-on, real-world skills.
More than half (52%) ranked the AI/ML curriculum as 'extremely relevant' to their goals.
'Certifications today are more than just proof of knowledge; they empower professionals to lead in a world where identity is the first line of defence,' said Shankar Ganapathy, chief operating officer at Saviynt. 'By offering free, AI-ready education, we are helping bridge the talent gap and providing employers with the verified skills they need. The fact that nearly 64% of respondents said the ISAA certification boosted their confidence in pursuing a career in identity security management underscores the importance of accessible, high-impact training.'
Suraj Krishnaiah, vice president, Saviynt University, added, 'According to the 2024 ISC2 study, nearly 60% of cybersecurity professionals say skills gaps have significantly affected their ability to secure their organization. The ISAA certification helps close this gap by combining practical AI/ML training with core identity security knowledge. By collaborating with universities, we are embedding these skills where it matters most, at the start of the learning journey, ensuring students are industry-ready from day one. Our goal is to build a more inclusive, resilient cybersecurity workforce that's equipped for the challenges of tomorrow.'
The self-paced ISAA certification is now available globally and is designed for both aspiring professionals and industry veterans looking to future-proof their careers.

HIVE Digital Capacity Crosses 10 EH/s in May, Aims to More Than Double That by Year-End

Bitcoin miner HIVE Digital Technologies (HIVE) has surpassed 10 exahash per second (EH/s) in hashrate capacity, a 58% increase from April, driven by the launch of a 100-megawatt hydro-powered site in Paraguay. The company said in a press release on Friday that it's on track to reach 25 EH/s by the end of 2025. The firm mined 139 bitcoin in May, or an average rate of 4.5 BTC per day. Peak capacity hit 10.4 EH/s while average hashrate for the month stood at 8.5 EH/s. HIVE said its fleet efficiency remained steady at around 20 joules per terahash (J/TH), and its network share now exceeds 1% of global Bitcoin mining power. The new facility in Paraguay reflects a broader trend in the mining industry: the race to deploy next-generation ASIC miners rapidly and at scale in regions with abundant renewable power. Co-founder Frank Holmes emphasized the company's speed and flexibility, pointing to its Buzz HPC division, which supports AI cloud infrastructure alongside Bitcoin mining. CEO Aydin Kilic said the company's goal for the summer is 18 EH/s, and that fleet upgrades should allow for a daily BTC output of over 12 by the fourth quarter — potentially at a production cost below $50,000 per coin. HIVE operates facilities in Canada, Sweden and Paraguay, powered entirely by hydroelectricity. The company was the first publicly listed crypto miner on the TSX Venture Exchange in 2017. HIVE shares are higher by 13% in New York trade on Friday as the mining sector rallies alongside bitcoin's gain to above $105,000.

Oncoscope Officially Launches, Ushering in a New Era of Real Time Oncology Intelligence

06/06/2025, Miami, Florida // PRODIGY: Feature Story // Anna Forsythe, founder of Oncoscope-AI (source: Oncoscope-AI) Oncoscope-AI, a revolutionary oncology intelligence platform, has officially launched following a successful beta phase and over a year of strategic development that involved extensive conversations with practicing oncologists. The platform, which delivers real-time, human-curated cancer insights enhanced by artificial intelligence, is now live and available free of charge to verified healthcare professionals worldwide. Founded by Anna Forsythe, a pharmacist, health economist, and seasoned pharmaceutical executive, Oncoscope addresses a critical gap in oncology care. It gives clinicians instant access to the most current treatment data, FDA approvals, and guideline-aligned information, consolidated into one user-friendly platform. 'Doctors do not need more data. They need the right information, at the right time, in a format they can use to make better decisions for their patients,' said Forsythe. 'Oncoscope provides that clarity. It is a living library of oncology, curated by experts and built to save lives.' Unlike generic AI tools or static databases, Oncoscope uses trained AI to scan thousands of oncology publications and filters them through a rigorous, evidence-based framework. Each entry is cross-referenced with clinical guidelines and regulatory approvals to ensure usability and relevance. All of the results are carefully scrutinized by a team of experienced researchers. Currently, the platform supports breast and lung cancer, with prostate, bladder, colon, and rectal modules rolling out in the coming months. The process is intuitive. Physicians answer three clinical questions—cancer stage, genetic markers, and prior treatments—and receive a personalized, actionable summary. Each recommended article includes survival data, progression insights, treatment efficacy, and toxicity, extracted across 32 key clinical parameters. 'The result is something physicians can actually use in the moment,' said Forsythe. 'It takes three clicks to go from a patient in the room to the most up-to-date evidence in the field.' Access to Oncoscope is free for verified healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, genetic counselors, and physician assistants. Non-verified users, such as those in finance or consulting, can purchase limited access at a monthly rate, restricted to a single cancer type. This structure reflects the company's commitment to empowering front-line clinicians with better tools—without barriers. Forsythe, who previously founded and sold a successful health economics company serving global pharmaceutical clients, brings a rare combination of clinical, technical, and business expertise to this venture. She sees Oncoscope not only as a tool, but as a mission. 'This platform was born from both professional insight and personal urgency,' she said. 'Too many patients are still receiving outdated treatments, simply because their doctors do not have time to stay current. I realized I had the knowledge, the team, and the experience to fix that.' With a lean team, strategic vision, and a rapidly growing user base, Oncoscope is poised to become a trusted global resource in cancer treatment. 'We are not just a tech company,' said Forsythe. 'We are part of the oncology ecosystem. And we are here to help doctors deliver the best care possible.' Japanese AI Unicorn Notta Enters Otter AI's Market with Innovative Smart Voice Recorder

Notta Bets Big on AI Agent-Powered Voice Recorder as Hardware-SaaS Convergence Accelerates TOKYO, June 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- As OpenAI's ChatGPT dominates enterprise AI adoption and Google Gemini reshapes how businesses think about AI assistants, Japanese unicorn Notta announced its ambitious push into the U.S. hardware market with the Notta Memo AI Voice Recorder. From Tokyo to Silicon Valley: The Underdog Story Notta's journey reads like a classic tech disruption playbook, albeit with a Japanese twist. Since launching in 2020, the company has quietly built a formidable AI transcription empire, amassing over 10 million users globally and signing up 4,000 enterprise customers. The real validation? A staggering 68% of Japan's Nikkei 225 companies—the country's most elite corporations—have integrated Notta's AI solutions into their workflows. 'Most observers underestimate just how competitive the Japanese enterprise market is,' explains industry analyst Sarah from TechInsight Research. 'If you can win over two-thirds of the Nikkei 225, you've proven enterprise-grade reliability at scale.' Notta's 2022 Airgram acquisition was just the opening move—the company believes the real opportunity lies in completely reimagining how voice technology integrates into daily workflows. Security-First Approach Gives Notta Enterprise Edge Unlike many AI startups that retrofit compliance as an afterthought, Notta built enterprise security into its foundation from day one. The company holds ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications—credentials that remain elusive for many competitors still scrambling to meet Fortune 500 requirements. More critically, Notta has secured the regulatory trifecta that unlocks major markets: GDPR compliance for European expansion, HIPAA certification for healthcare disruption, and CCPA adherence for California's privacy-conscious landscape. This compliance-first strategy positions Notta to compete for high-value enterprise contracts that security-conscious organizations won't trust to less mature platforms. Hardware Meets AI: The Five-Platform Ecosystem Play The Notta Memo distinguishes itself in the crowded voice recording market through its unique five-platform ecosystem integration—seamlessly connecting web, iOS, Android, Chrome extension, and the Memo device itself. This comprehensive approach addresses the fragmented user experience that has long plagued the industry. Unlike traditional voice recording solutions that force users to choose between SaaS flexibility and hardware reliability, Notta Memo delivers both. The device features advanced bone-conduction technology for complete phone call recording, intelligent noise reduction for crystal-clear audio capture, and one-tap synchronization with Notta. 'We're not just launching another recording device,' said Ryan, CEO of Notta. 'We're introducing a complete AI-powered voice ecosystem that adapts to how people work and communicate in today's hybrid world. Our hardware becomes an extension of our proven AI platform that has already transformed millions of meetings worldwide.' Beyond recording, Notta Memo is your AI-powered agent and centralized knowledge hub—seamlessly integrated across all your workflows. Competitive Positioning in a Dynamic Market Notta enters the US AI transcription market with an integrated approach that combines software and hardware innovation. While the market includes established players like Otter AI in the SaaS space and Plaud AI in hardware solutions, Notta differentiates itself through its comprehensive platform that leverages AI capabilities refined through years of serving millions of global users. The company acknowledges the challenges in competing against established players with loyal American user bases. However, Notta's proven track record of rapid user acquisition and revenue growth in Japan, combined with its technological differentiation, positions it as a formidable new entrant. Market Timing and Strategic Vision Notta's American expansion comes at a pivotal moment in the AI industry. As enterprises increasingly adopt AI agents for productivity enhancement and consumers demand more intelligent, seamless technology experiences, the convergence of AI SaaS and purpose-built hardware represents a natural evolution. The Notta Memo's launch signals more than just product diversification – it represents Notta's vision of AI-native hardware that thinks, learns, and adapts to user needs. This positions the company at the forefront of the next wave of AI innovation, where the distinction between SaaS and hardware dissolves into unified, intelligent experiences. About Notta Notta is the AI unicorn that's redefining how the world captures and understands conversations. Seamlessly integrating advanced SaaS with intelligent hardware, Notta turns conversations from any meeting, call, or discussion into actionable insights. This AI-powered, end-to-end solution captures and structures spoken interactions, creating a centralized knowledge hub.
