Fold 7 and Flip 7 price leak reveals a huge hike for one 2025 foldable
Fold 7 and Flip 7 price leak reveals a huge hike for one 2025 foldable Samsung's Unpacked event will take place on July 9, the day after tomorrow, and we seem to know pretty much everything about the devices that will be announced. Price is still something of an unknown, and if a couple of new reports are to be believed, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be pricier than its predecessor, but the Flip 7 will not go up in price. Foldable phones are already more expensive than conventional phones, and this is one of the reasons why most people continue to stick with conventional handsets. Book-style foldable phones , in particular, are jaw-droppingly expensive. Samsung raised the price of the Fold by $100 last year to $1,899.99, and the Fold 7 is expected to be even more expensive. According to leaker Yogesh Brar, the Fold 7 will get a price jump in India. The price is expected to increase from INR 149,999 (~$1,748.87) to around INR 175,000 to INR 179,000 (~$2,087). Alleged Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE prices in France. | Image Credit - Dealabs The Fold 7 is also likely to be pricier in France, with leaker @billbil_kun revealing that the 256GB and 512GB models will cost €100 more, while the 1TB variant will be €160 more expensive. A Dutch website had previously also said that the Fold 7 would be more expensive than its predecessor, though this was rebuffed by Roland Quandt, who said the price would remain the same, at least in Germany. With most sources indicating prices may rise, this rumor cannot be easily dismissed. After all, the Fold 7 will pack a slew of improvements, including a thinner and lighter body, larger inner and outer screens, and a 200MP main camera. The Flip 6 starts at $1,099.99 in the US, and @billbil_kun claims the Flip 7 will cost the same. That's even though this phone will also be a significant upgrade and will flaunt a thinner profile, larger screens, and a bigger battery. Today's leak has also revealed the Flip 7 FE's price, which will be a stripped-down version of the Flip 7 . This device will start at €999 (~$1,172.12), which will make it €200 (~$234.65) cheaper than the Flip 7 . Given that the Fold 6 struggled in the market, it doesn't sound like a good idea to increase its successor's price. On the other hand, Samsung may think that the hike is justified because of the various improvements. Customers may not necessarily be willing to pay more for the improvements, which many might say were long overdue anyway. On the bright side, the Flip 7 FE will serve as a entry point for customers who have long been eyeing customers but were deterred by high prices. The Honor X70 to have a massive 8,300mAh battery with 80W charging
Late last year, Honor teased a massive 6,600mAh battery for the X60. As impressive as that was, the upcoming Honor X70 will have a battery that dwarfs this capacity – battery tech is improving at a spectacular pace! Live photos of the X70 have been shared by leakster Experience More, including one that shows the About screen. It shows a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage with MagicOS 9 out of the box. The display has 1,200 x 2,640px resolution and was previously reported as a 6.79' OLED. The battery capacity is jaw-dropping at 8,300mAh. Honor is still using the 'Qinghai Lake' branding. Per the previous leak, the X70 will support 80W wired charging. Another leakster, Panda is very bald, claims that wireless charging will be available only on the version with 512GB storage and will work at 80W. Honor X70 hands-on photos The other image shows the back of the Honor X70 (model number MTN-AN00). The phone reportedly measures only 7.7mm – quite an engineering feat given the battery size – and weighs 193g. Note that the version with wireless charging has a bit of extra bulk at 7.9mm thick and 199g weight. The circular camera island is home to a 50MP camera with OIS, while the selfie camera is said to have an 8MP sensor. The white model is pictured here, but the phone will also be available in blue, black and red. The Honor X70i launched back in April, however, the X70 launch time frame is still to be announced. The X60 series also featured Pro and GT models, but we haven't heard anything about similar models in the X70 series. Not yet, anyway. Source 1 | Source 2 (in Chinese) | Via

That's all, folks: there won't be another Nothing Phone (3) device
The recently unveiled smartphone by Carl Pei and co. – the Nothing Phone (3) – is going to be the last of its kind. The company's first flagship will be the last of its family: the Nothing Phone (3) you were hoping for a fourth Phone (3) model, don't feed your illusions any longer. All in all, we're left with these handsets at our disposal: Nothing Phone (3) Nothing Phone (3a) Pro Nothing Phone (3a) Carl Pei has made it clear that with the Phone (3)'s release, now the family is complete: Image source – X On one hand, that's as logical as it gets. In the Phone (3) family, there's a high-end device, the Nothing Phone (3) , for those who don't mind paying the premium $800 price (on par with the Galaxy S25 in terms of cost). Then, there's the Phone (3a) duo for those on a budget or those who don't need a flagship-grade performance. These two are extremely similar devices, with the Pro just having a better zoom camera, but I'll get to detail in a moment. The Nothing Phone 3. | Image by PhoneArena So, we have a high-end device for power users and those who are not financially restrained and two more devices that lean towards the budget-friendly category. But do we? Sure, the Nothing Phone (3) is the flagshippest phone Nothing has produced to date, but is it a real flagship? Those who'll deny its flagship label will inevitably point out that the Phone (3) doesn't pack the top-shelf Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, but instead, packs the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. That's a powerful chip, nearly as fast as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (in my book, that's pretty decent!)It's not quite "best of the best", sure – but it's a massive leap over the Phone (2) and miles ahead of the midrange Phone (3a) duo. The cameras finally feel flagship-worthy too: four 50MP sensors, including a big main lens, a periscope zoom with AI tricks, an ultrawide, and a selfie cam that shoots 4K. The rest of the hardware is solid. Ultra-thin bezels, a sharp and super-bright 6.67-inch AMOLED display, a beefy 5,150mAh battery (take that, Samsung!), and fast charging. On the software side, Nothing OS 3.5 on Android 15 keeps things smooth and stylish, with a promise of five years of updates – flagship territory. The Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro. | Image by PhoneArena The Nothing (3a) duo, on the other hand, consists of two oddly similar handsets – similar to the point of having to wonder why they share the same fact, were it not for the rear panel design, they're almost impossible to tell apart. Both feature a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging, and the signature transparent design with Glyph lighting and AI-driven Essential Key. The main differences? The Pro version adds a 50MP periscope zoom camera, a higher-res selfie camera, slightly more RAM and storage, and a circular camera island on the back. In essence, these two phones are nearly identical – one is just dressed up a little is now clearly focused on the next installment of its handset(s) – what's probably going to be called the Nothing Phone (4) series. Fun fact of the day: if Nothing was a China-based company (and not a London-based one), it's likely the brand would have skipped the number 4 entirely. In Chinese culture, the number 4 is considered unlucky because it sounds similar to the word for "death" in Mandarin and Cantonese. Many Chinese smartphone makers, like OnePlus and Vivo, have avoided the number in model names to sidestep bad luck and negative perception. Secure your connection now at a bargain price!
