SSC declares final results of Combined Hindi Translators Exam at ssc.gov.in, direct link to check here
A total of 272 candidates have provisionally qualified for appointment to various posts in different Ministry/ Departments/ Offices. the SSC notice informed.

The official notice reads, 'Allocation of Posts and Departments to the provisionally shortlisted candidates has been made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I & Paper-II and the preference of Posts/ Departments submitted by them online.'
It may be mentioned here that the result of Paper 1 was released on February 14, 2025, wherein a total of 2,146 candidates were shortlisted to take the Paper 2 exam conducted on March 29, 2025.
Candidates who appeared in Paper 2 of the examination were asked to enter the option cum preference form from June 9 to June 14, 2025.

A total of 1736 candidates submitted their Option-cum Preference online, and were considered for further selection process.
What's next for qualified candidates
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the final result will now go through the Document Verification and Appointment formalities which will be undertaken by the Allocated Department.
The SSC stated that if a candidate does not receive any correspondence from the concerned allocated User Department within a period of six months from the declaration of final result, he/she must communicate immediately with the concerned User Department.
Further it added that no correspondences regarding Document Verification/appointment formalities from the shortlisted candidates will be entertained under any circumstances.

In addition, no Reserve List/ Waiting List will be prepared by the Commission, and unfilled vacancies in the final result and vacancies arising out of non-joining of shortlisted candidates will be carried forward to the subsequent year(s) of recruitment by the concerned Departments/Organisations, the SSC stated.

Thousands of aspirants and teachers took to the streets on July 31, protesting against alleged mismanagement in the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Selection Post Phase 13 recruitment exam. Protesters gathered at Delhi's Jantar Mantar under a unified 'Delhi Chalo' call, demanding urgent reforms and transparency in the examination system. Several aspirants and teachers also voiced their dissatisfaction on the microblogging platform X. Using hashtags like #SSCSystemSudharo, #SSCMisManagement, and #SSCVendorFailure, they reported technical failures. Complaints included non-functional computer systems, server crashes, and faulty mouse and keyboard setups Many said the exam portal either failed to load or froze midway during the test. The SSC election Post Phase 13 recruitment exam began on July 24 and was scheduled to end on August The exam was supposed to be conducted in a computer-based format. Candidates who appeared for the exam initially reported administrative lapses, technical glitches, and poor conditions at examination centres triggering outrage across the country. Protesters, including teaching faculty and coaching mentors, alleged that some candidates were allotted centres located 400–500 kilometres from their hometowns. Despite enduring long and expensive journeys, many aspirants found their exams abruptly cancelled upon reaching the centres. 'Aspirants are being sent to far-flung centres, only to discover that the exam is cancelled. At some venues, cattle heads were kept on the ground floor while students were giving exams upstairs. Bouncers have been deployed to silence students who raise concerns. The mouse doesn't work, systems hang. This is what we're facing," a protesting teacher told PTI. He added that during a meeting with the SSC director, officials admitted to receiving over 55,000 complaints related to the exam. 'If there are 3 lakh students and 55,000 have registered issues, that alone speaks volumes. SSC-CGL, with 30 lakh aspirants, is scheduled to start from August 13. How will SSC manage that with these broken systems?" he said. Several students also raised serious concerns over the vendor handling the recruitment process. Aspirants alleged that the contract has been given to a company that was previously blacklisted for poor conduct in examinations. The students called for transparency in the vendor selection process and regular public audits of examination practices. 'The government awarded the tender to a blacklisted company. How can a company with such a background be trusted with exams that determine our future?" a student told PTI. Another protestor added, 'Even if we manage to reach the centre after spending thousands, we are told the exam is cancelled. There's no clarity on rescheduling. Our time, money, and most importantly, crucial years of preparation are being wasted. Who is answerable for that?" A number of aspirants also questioned the presence of bouncers at examination venues. 'What is the utility of bouncers at an exam centre? We are not criminals. We're demanding a better system, not creating a riot," a candidate told the news agency. Several aspirants also allege that bouncers and police force was used at exam centres as well as during protests. The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) president Varun Choudhary said, 'This is not just about exam mismanagement, it is about the government trying to silence the youth who are asking for justice." The student body submitted a formal letter to the SSC demanding a 'high-level inquiry', 'vendor accountability', and 'immediate reforms' in the recruitment process. Explained: Why Students Are Protesting Against SSC And What They Want
SSC Exam Protest 2025: Huge protests continued for the second consecutive day in many cities across the country, including Delhi, over alleged mismanagement in the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Selection Post Phase 13 recruitment exam. Several students and teachers gathered outside the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday seeking reform and accountability in the process. A day ago, students had gathered at Jantar Mantar shooting slogans and demanding overhaul in the way SSC functions. Police, who were present at the scene, tried to convince students to stop protesting, but soon violence erupted, and teachers and other protesters were detained. Neetu Singh, an educator popularly known as "Neetu ma'am", was also present at the spot and was detained but released on Thursday night. "We did not go there to protest, we wanted a meeting with DoPT officials and the minister because SSC officials are not giving any answers. We know students have been facing problems for many years and that exams are not being conducted in a fair manner," she told NDTV. "There are many issues with the way SSC conducts examinations, the papers that are given had wrong questions, and when these issues were pointed out, the exam body tried to falsely defend itself in the court," she added. Singh, known for her expertise in English language teaching, said the situation has deteriorated and students exam centres are being allocated in far-off places. What Led Students And Teachers To Protest? Students have flagged multiple issues, such as SSC cancelling exams on multiple occasions, administrative lapses such as allotment of exam centres and failure to issue admit cards even two days before the exam date. Typically, SSC releases admit cards four days in advance. One glaring issue was a student of Jaipur being assigned an exam centre in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, despite students usually being allotted centres near their location based on preference. They have also highlighted technical issues, such as systems crashing, accessories like mouse not functioning, blacked-out screens and server issues, at several centres. Students also accused the security personnel and staff for misconduct and inappropriate behaviour. "Blacklisted Agency Conducted the Exam" This year's SSC Selection Phase 13 exam was conducted by Eduquity, the agency that Neetu Singh said has been blacklisted by the Education Department. Students have long protested against Eduquity, which has been linked to the infamous Vyapam scam - involving bribery, manipulation of seating arrangements, and impersonation by exam-takers. Handing such a critical exam to a tainted agency sparked further outrage. Despite its track record, Eduquity is also slated to conduct upcoming SSC exams, including the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) test, which will see participation from over 3 million candidates - raising serious concerns about the exam's administration. Additionally, mandatory Aadhaar authentication created further hurdles, with many students unable to submit forms or facing issues at the exam centres. The primary concern for students remains the repeated cancellation of the SSC Selection Phase 13 exam. Many travelled from different cities only to be informed - on arrival - that the exam had been cancelled without prior notice.
