K Wave Media, Inc. (Nasdaq: KWM) ('K Wave' or the 'Company') Announces entering into a securities purchase agreement for $500 Million Equity Purchase Facility to Support Bitcoin Treasury Strategy

NEW YORK and SEOUL, South Korea, June 04, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- K Wave Media, Inc. (Nasdaq: KWM) ('K Wave' or the 'Company'), the first Korean media alliance listed on Nasdaq, announced today that it has entered into a securities purchase agreement with Bitcoin Strategic Reserve KWM LLC , providing for the sale by the Company of up to $500 million of ordinary shares.
Proceeds from the facility will be used to support the Company's Bitcoin-centric digital asset treasury strategy as well as for working capital and M&A activities, further expanding its content and K-POP related businesses. Under this initiative, K Wave will, subject to certain limitations, allocate a significant portion of the proceeds received from the sale of any shares under the facility to the purchasing, long-term holding, and yield optimization of Bitcoin (BTC) — positioning itself among the first publicly traded media companies to integrate BTC directly into its core treasury operations. In addition, the Company plans to operate Bitcoin Lightning Network nodes and invest in Bitcoin-native infrastructure to enhance decentralization and facilitate on-chain transaction rewards.
K Wave is looking to be the 'Metaplanet of Korea' — referencing Japan's Metaplanet Inc., which became the #1 performing stock globally in 2024 and a top performer in 2025 after adopting a Bitcoin reserve strategy. The Company believes a similar model — combining public market access with a focused Bitcoin treasury initiative — will resonate with investors across Asia and the globe. With its growing media and entertainment businesses, BTC treasury, and the utilization of BTC by KWM, will allow consumers to experience KWM's content and K-pop merchandising in a WEB3 environment and become a catalyst for more rapid growth.
The Company's asset treasury strategy reflects its commitment to innovation and forward-looking asset management. Key initiatives under the strategy include:
Acquiring and holding BTC as a primary corporate reserve asset
Reinvesting BTC yields into additional Bitcoin purchases and infrastructure initiatives to deepen its engagement with the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Allowing KWM's consumers to purchase KWM's content and K-pop merchandising utilizing BTC in a WEB3 environment. Investors can invest in top-quality Korean film and K-pop projects utilizing approved coins by KWM, including BTC.
By adopting Bitcoin as its core reserve asset, K Wave aims to strengthen its balance sheet with the world's most secure and decentralized digital currency while aligning itself strategically with the growing global Bitcoin economy and Web3 future.
Choi, Pyeungho , Chairman of the Board of KWM, commented:
'K Wave Media's bold adoption of Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset is a visionary move that signals the growing convergence between digital media and decentralized finance. We are proud to support K Wave's mission to lead Web3 integration in the content space and believe this strategy will create strong, long-term value for its shareholders.'
Ted Kim , Co-Interim CEO of K Wave Media, added:
'At K Wave, we are reimagining the future of media — and that includes our financial foundation. Bitcoin offers not just a store of value, but a foundation for innovation, independence, and global scalability. By embedding BTC into our core strategy, we're reinforcing our commitment to decentralization, agility, and future-facing value creation. This is a defining step forward for K Wave and for the future of creative finance that will further assist KWM to produce Korea's best content and help position KWM in the K POP's entire ecosystem by allowing it to expand to concert management and music distribution, among others.
Founded in 2023 and headquartered in the Cayman Islands, K Wave Media Ltd is a diversified entertainment company with operating companies in Korea producing high-quality K-content, K-pop merchandising, and K-entertainment investments. With a strong focus on creator empowerment and blockchain integration, K Wave delivers unique customer experiences to a global audience. The company is redefining the intersection of entertainment, technology, and finance by building an ecosystem that supports decentralized ownership, real-time creator monetization, and crypto-native engagement.

Rocket Lab Stock Is Soaring Again: Should You Buy It Under $30?

Rocket Lab is gaining a reputation for reliability in the rocket launch and space systems market. The company is building on its capabilities and improving its relationships as a defense contractor. While this young sector shows a lot of great promise, the stock looks overvalued today. 10 stocks we like better than Rocket Lab › Space is the final frontier, and it is now turning into a burgeoning economy. Researchers estimate that the space economy is worth over $500 billion with heavy spending from governments around the world along with private-company partners, and that figure is expected to grow to around $1.8 trillion a year by 2035. This is a huge opportunity for start-ups, perhaps rivaled only by artificial intelligence (AI) over the next decade when it comes to both growth rates and size. One company that dominates (and actually built) the entire space market is SpaceX. It's privately held, but luckily, investors have other space economy stocks that are turning into promising businesses. Enter Rocket Lab (NASDAQ: RKLB), the space flight company increasingly competing with SpaceX and developing promising capabilities to grow its presence in this large market. The stock has begun to soar again and is trading at around $26 as of this writing. Should you buy while shares are still under $30? Rocket Lab began its journey in the space economy with its small Electron rocket. It has now begun to expand and vertically integrate various space economy segments. It just acquired a company called Geost for $275 million. Geost develops optical and infrared capabilities for satellites with a focus on selling to the U.S. government's national security satellites. Rocket Lab is used by the government to launch its payloads into space. Now, it will be helping to build and operate these payloads for customers. It keeps vertically integrating its launch and space systems, which gives it a competitive advantage over other companies that only offer one or the other (SpaceX is the only other vertically integrated player). Rocket Lab offers solar energy, radio systems, and software for companies sending missions operating in space. This is why its backlog was over $1 billion as of the end of last quarter. Electron launch missions will continue throughout 2025, hopefully building on the company's strong safety and reliability record. The next step for the company will be testing and launching its larger Neutron rocket for customers. Testing is underway for this rocket right now with a planned mission for a confidential customer sometime in 2026. Larger rockets mean larger payloads, which means more revenue per launch. It also will give the company more of an opportunity to sell its space systems on these launches. The Neutron is the key for Rocket Lab to take the next step in its capabilities as a space flight company and to grow its backlog and revenue. Defense contracts have been a huge part of Rocket Lab's business. It currently helps with Air Force missions and a hypersonic testing program called HASTE. It was recently added to the National Security Space Launch (NSSL) program for its Neutron rocket, another reason why this new rocket is so important for the company's future. A growing relationship with the U.S. government could not have come at a better time for Rocket Lab. The government is set on spending a ton of money on space solutions as the next frontier in national defense. For example, the proposed Golden Dome missile defense project for the U.S. would cost an estimated $175 billion over three years to build. The company would be a prime candidate to win subcontracts for this ambitious project. As the Neutron comes on line and Rocket Lab builds up its capabilities and reputation in the space economy, we should see its backlog climb higher. This is a key indicator for investors to watch. The current backlog will have around half of its revenue recognized over the next 12 months, and half in later periods. In order to grow revenue over the long term, the company will need to grow its backlog and win more contracts from government and commercial customers. There is a lot of potential with Rocket Lab's business, but it might all be priced into the stock (and more) right now. It has a market cap of $12.3 billion. Revenue was only $466 million over the last 12 months. The company has never generated a profit and continues to lose money. If the company is successful with its ambitions to build a vertically integrated space company, it will eventually generate billions of dollars in revenue -- perhaps tens of billions 15 to 20 years from now. However, that is a long way off, and the stock looks fully priced versus what the company can accomplish in the next few years. For this reason, the stock looks like one to avoid even with the price under $30. The business may be promising, but the market is getting ahead of itself with Rocket Lab at the moment. This is a high-risk stock to keep out of your portfolio right now. Want Buffett-Style Returns From Artificial Intelligence (AI)? These 2 Stocks Might Deliver.

Nvidia remains a must-own stock for AI investors. SoundHound AI could provide even bigger gains. 10 stocks we like better than Nvidia › Warren Buffett's conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway is famous for its long-term performance. Since he took over the company almost six decades ago, shares have produced annualized gains of more than 20%. Few investment vehicles in history have been able to provide this level of returns for such a long stretch of time. While it won't be easy for investors to achieve similar returns, the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution should provide some compelling opportunities. According to forecasts by Grand View Research, the AI market could grow by 30% or more per year over the next decade and beyond. By investing in the right AI stocks today, you could generate Buffett-style returns over time -- and the two look like your best bets right now. While it has gotten a ton of press and attention already, Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) remains a must-own stock for every investor looking to capitalize on the rise of AI. The story here is simple. AI spending has been skyrocketing in recent years, with most forecasts calling for double-digit percentage growth throughout the next decade and beyond. Nearly all of this growth will depend on GPUs and other specialized AI accelerator chips: high-powered parallel processors that provide the specific types of computational muscle to make training and running complex AI models possible. Because it already held the leading position in the GPU space when the AI revolution took off, Nvidia now controls roughly 90% of the market for GPUs destined to support AI applications. So at least right now, if AI innovation and spending continue to rise, Nvidia will directly benefit due to rising demand for its GPUs. Nvidia's dominance in GPUs is no joke. When it unveiled its latest GPU architecture, dubbed Blackwell, last year, the next-gen chips quickly sold out for the next 12 months. According to one report from October, "Customers who have not yet placed an order with the company won't receive any Blackwell products until late 2025." Just to make it clear, Nvidia is by no means competing on price. In fact, it has the highest gross margin by far in the industry, reflecting both its superior offerings and its strong pricing power. There are some long-term concerns. Nvidia may not be able to maintain its high market share, technological superiority, or high gross margins forever. But even if it does cede some market share and profitability, there's a good chance the company can continue to grow at double-digit percentage rates for far longer than its current valuation of 44 times earnings suggests. Nvidia is now worth more than $3.4 trillion -- in the past week, it has been neck and neck with Microsoft for the title of world's largest company. As such, its long-term growth from here may be limited to a degree by its sheer size. If you're looking to maximize your upside potential in exchange for a little more risk, take a look at SoundHound AI (NASDAQ: SOUN). Most investors haven't heard of this company. Even many AI investors aren't aware of it. That's because SoundHound's market cap is just $4 billion. But if you're looking for big gains, relatively small players like this can deliver, even if the investments carry more risk. As its name suggests, SoundHound AI's business involves AI technologies within the audio arena. Think drive-thru windows where your order is taken by an AI agent, customer support lines operated by AI agents, or even in-vehicle AI assistants that can chat with you about the weather or your car's upcoming maintenance needs. SoundHound already has customers piloting its technology in all of these areas. And similar to the rest of the AI industry, the voice AI segment of the market is expected to grow by 30% to 40% per year over the long term. SoundHound faces heavy long-term competition from big tech competitors that have much deeper pockets from which to fund their research and development budgets. But the potential is there. You'll have to get comfortable with the stock's premium valuation though: Shares trade at nearly 40 times sales. And you'll have to monitor customer growth and competitive pressures. But if you're looking for a company that can deliver 20% annual returns over the next decade and beyond, SoundHound certainly has all the right pieces in place. Just know that shares are for risk-tolerant, long-term investors only. Before you buy stock in Nvidia, consider this: The Motley Fool Stock Advisor analyst team just identified what they believe are the for investors to buy now… and Nvidia wasn't one of them. NEW YORK, NY - June 7, 2025 ( NEWMEDIAWIRE ) - Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer LLP announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed against Red Cat Holdings, Inc. ('Red Cat' or the 'Company') (NASDAQ: RCAT) on behalf of investors that purchased or otherwise acquired Red Cat securities between March 18, 2022 and January 15, 2025, both dates inclusive (the 'Class Period'). According to the complaint, 'Red Cat manufactures drones through its subsidiary Teal Drones, Inc. ('Teal') at a facility located in Salt Lake City, Utah ('Salt Lake Facility'). Throughout 2022, Defendants touted their development of the Salt Lake Facility's capacity to produce 'thousands of drones per month' or 'tens of thousands of drones' per year.' 'In March 2022, Red Cat announced that Teal had been selected by the U.S. Department of Defense's [] Defense Innovation Unit and the U.S. Army to compete in Tranche 2[] of the U.S. Army's Short Range Reconnaissance Program of Record ('SRR Program') . . . Defendants suggested or otherwise asserted that the SRR Program's Tranche 2 contract ('SRR Contract'') was worth potentially hundreds of millions to over a billion dollars in contract revenues.' 'On November 19, 2024, Red Cat issued a press release announcing that it had won the SRR Contract. On a subsequent conference call . . . Defendants continued to assert that the SRR Contract was worth potentially hundreds of millions of dollars, while expressing their confidence that Red Cat could realize up to $50 million to $79.5 million in revenue from the SRR Contract during its fiscal year 2025 alone.' 'Then, on January 16, 2025, Kerrisdale Capital ('Kerrisdale') published a report alleging, inter alia, that Defendants had overstated the value of the SRR Contract, which Kerrisdale found was only worth approximately $20 million to $25 million based on U.S. Army budget documents.' On this news, Red Cat's stock fell $2.35 per share, or 21.54%, over the following two trading sessions, to close at $8.56 per share on January 17, 2025. The complaint alleges, among other things, that throughout the Class Period, Defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that (i) the Salt Lake City Facility's production capacity, and Defendants' progress in developing the same, was overstated; (ii) the overall value of the SRR Contract was overstated; and (iii) as a result, Defendants' public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.
