Following her stellar debut in 2024, tech entrepreneur Mona Patel returned to the red carpet for the second time. For her appearance at the Met Gala, Mona opted for a refreshing take on a tailored suit. She made a striking statement in a custom Thom Browne couture.
For the Met Gala 2025, Mona Patel kept it sharp in a Thom Browne ensemble. She made a grand entrance with her robotic dog, Vector, which was inspired by Thom Browne's Hector Bag. The robotic dog was tied to a 1000-carat emerald-cut diamond leash. Mona's outfit came with a sharply tailored floor-grazing black suit. She paired the black suit with a crisp white shirt and a classic white bow. She layered the coat and elevated her look with a black, beaded corset-style bodice that cinched at the waist.

Mona paired the coat with matching black tailored pants. What stole the show was the kinetic spine at the back that was designed by Lisa Jiang and Timothy Bowl. For the accessories, she donned a glittering black hat by Miodrag Gubernic. She slipped into a pair of black pointed-toe heels by Rene Caovilla. She kept the other accessories to a minimum and opted for a small diamond earring.

The dress code 'Tailored For You' was a nod to the exhibition's theme – Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. Apart from Mona Patel, MET GALA 2025 also saw a lot Indian celebrities represent the country at the prestigious fashion gala. Dressed in their version of Black Dandyism were Shah Rukh Khan, Kiara Advani, Diljit Dosanjh, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Manish Malhotra, Isha Ambani, Priyanka Chopra, and Natasha Poonawalla.

Global K-pop singer Jackson Wang is in Mumbai, co-incidentally, right before the release of one of his iconic collaborations with Indian ace singer-cum-actor Diljit Dosanjh. Wang is a member of the Korean pop band GOT7 and has joined hands with Dosanjh on the song Buck, which was released a month back. Now, the rapper-singer revealed how he made it happen with Dosanjh. In a recent conversation, Jackson Wang was asked about his collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh in the song Buck which is also a part of his upcoming album Magic Man 2. Interestingly, the global sensation is in India right before the release of the album on July 18, leaving his fans in a complete delulu. Calling the Indian singer an 'iconic legend", the K-pop star recalled his first encounter with Diljit. 'Yeah, so Diljit, obviously, he's an iconic legend, and the first time that I encountered (him) was a few years ago. We performed at Coachella. Okay, and his set was the last that closed out the Sahara tent, and my show was before that. And after my performance, I rush down. I looked. I watched his crazy set, and I was like, 'Oh my god, maybe one day, you know, I'll be blessed to have a collaboration with him'," he told Pinkvilla, revealing how he wondered about a collaboration with Diljit. Further, Wang talked about the creative process behind his global collaboration with the Amar Singh Chamkila star and stated, 'A few years passed by, and I was writing the song Buck. I was like, hey, Diljit is gonna sound like fire on this song. So, I sent it to them. I slid into his DM, and then I texted (him)." He added, 'I say, 'Hey champ. So this is the song that I created. If you like it, you know, vibe with it. If you don't, it's all good.' You know, all love and stuff, and he replied. He's like, 'Super.' He showed me a lot of love and support, and Yeah, that's how the collaboration came together." The 100 Ways singer was also asked if he has had any funny BTS moments with Diljit from the shoot of their music video, Buck. To this, Wang replied, 'Yeah, I mean, they're live. It's coming out soon. There are a lot even for the music video, even we were in a shoot together, even we were doing interviews together, but currently, he's not in India. He's very busy with his schedules." 'But yeah, he showed me a lot of love from a senior. You know, I really appreciate that," the global star mentioned while talking highly about his co-worker. Wang even revealed that he is a fan of Diljit's song, Chauffeur, a Punjabi track that blends elements of Punjabi music with rap, which he worked on, in collaboration with Canadian singer and rapper Tory Lanez. In the same conversation, Wang, who has come to India for the second time, also talked about his unexpected friendship with superstar Hrithik Roshan and Superboys of Malegaon star Adarsh Gourav. Additionally, in a post on Instagram, he gave a sneak peek into his meeting with Roshan and his family, which made fans wonder if the singer would be part of Krrish 4.
