How Jo Potter wants Rangers Woman to restore pride in final
To add to Gers misery, their Scottish Gas Women's Scottish Cup final opponents at Hampden Park this weekend beat Hearts 2-0 to pip Rangers to second place and a European spot and Potter is looking for a response to end the season on a high.
She said: 'We can't make up for what happened in the league. We don't shy away from that, but we've got to put a few things right.
'We've got to make sure that we're proud of our performances.
'We've not been proud of a lot of performances that we've put on throughout this season and it hasn't been good enough ultimately.
'But we've got another game, we've got a chance to put it right and when there's a trophy on the line, you've got to do all you can.
'Yes, there was a big trophy on the line on Sunday and we didn't manage to turn up and get that one over the line, but we've got another chance again this week.

Rangers star on Ibrox 'dream' after stunning transfer links
'We've got to make sure that we're doing everything we can because it's the last one of the season.'
Glasgow City boss Leanne Ross is pleased the game is taking place at Hampden Park.
It is the third season in a row that the showpiece occasion will take place at the national stadium.
City are record cup holders with nine wins but none of them have been at the famous Mount Florida ground.
Former Glasgow City midfielder Ross said: 'The Scottish Cup in itself is a special competition, especially to the Scottish players and staff.
'It's something that we've grown up with and the fact that we're now able to play at the national stadium as well, just adds that a little bit more excitement and it would make it even more special to lift it there.
'I think the spectators are in for a really competitive game. All the games this season have been really tight.
'Both teams play good football, so we're going to go there and it's down to who performs best on the day.
'The games have been really tight between us this season.
'We've played two games at Ibrox (won 1-0, drew 1-1), but I think in terms of Glasgow City, we are really happy with how we've performed in those games.
'The most pleasing thing for us is that we're up there challenging and we're going to make it difficult game for Rangers on Sunday.'

Casemiro claims season has been 'successful' despite Man Utd misery
Even though Manchester United achieved their lowest finish in Premier League history, midfielder Casemiro stated that the 2024/25 season has been one of the "most successful" of his career to date Casemiro has surprisingly deemed this season one of his "most successful" after earning the trust of Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim, despite a challenging period for the team. The Brazilian midfielder appeared to be on his way out of Old Trafford in January, after talks of a move to Saudi Arabia were bandied about last summer and re-emerged during the winter window. Yet when the dust settled, Casemiro remained with United. After initially falling out of Portuguese coach Amorim's favour, by around February he began to carve out more regular playing time in the Premier League and European competitions. The 33-year-old became integral to the squad that battled its way to the Europa League final, noticing an uptick in appearances as the season drew to a close. Casemiro, while on duty with the Brazil national team, has now shed light on discussions held with Amorim earlier in his tenure, boldly stating that, for him, personally, it was indeed a successful year. "This year has been one of the most important years of my career, if not the most. Even because of the coach's choice [Ruben Amorim]. I was left out [of the options], but I never stopped working," Casemiro revealed. "That's my great success. Everyone wants to talk about titles, victories and big games, but when you don't play and you manage to change the mind of a coach who arrives and doesn't play you. "You end up coming back, and now you're being praised by the coach who at first practically didn't count on you... it was one of my most successful years. "These are things that end up happening internally. I'm one of those people who, when things happen internally, I don't like to say too much." Despite United's struggles, Casemiro donned the Red Devils' kit 42 times this term, netting five times and contributing three assists. His personal comeback stands in stark contrast to United's disappointing campaign, which saw them lumber to their lowest Premier League ranking in history, finishing 15th, and suffering 14 defeats, a figure not seen since 1990. The Brazilian midfielder faced severe criticism in September following a harrowing first-half display against Liverpool, where his error led to Luis Diaz opening the scoring after just 35 minutes. Not long after, Casemiro lost possession again, allowing Diaz to score once more before Erik ten Hag subbed him off at the break, with United eventual 3-0 losers. Casemiro shed light on his discussions with his manager during challenging times, stating (via the Manchester Evening News): "I don't think there's been such a big relapse in my individual aspect, but when the club isn't playing well, changes are needed. "I spoke to him [Amorim] and he told me that it was more a question of choosing to play, that I should wait for the opportunity. Of course, he was open with me. "He said it was his choice, nothing against me. I had no choice but to carry on working and wait for the opportunity. When I played, I lived up to what he asked." Kieran Tierney completes Celtic return to become Arsenal's 17th summer departure
Kieran Tierney joined the Gunners from Celtic in the summer of 2019, but now he had completed his return to Glasgow to become the latest departure at the Emirates this summer Kieran Tierney has officially returned to Celtic after signing a five-year deal. The Scotland defender left Glasgow to join Arsenal in 2019 having come through the youth ranks at Celtic Park but signed a pre-contract agreement with the Hoops earlier this year. His departure from Arsenal was confirmed last week and he has now committed himself to the Scottish champions until 2030. The 28-year-old, who made his first-team debut for Celtic more than a decade ago, said on 'Everybody's known for a few months and just to be here with the Celtic strip on again just feels amazing. 'I spoke with the manager, and obviously I had worked with him before and I've always kept in touch with him. He's one of the best so I'm so lucky and grateful that he's given me the chance to come back again. My ambition is just for Celtic to be as successful as possible, retain our place at the top and continue to win trophies and do well for Celtic.' READ MORE: Arsenal's William Saliba stance as Gunners make dramatic transfer U-turn on £70m star Tierney made 170 appearances for the Hoops in his first spell, winning 10 trophies, including three consecutive trebles. Most of those came under the management of Brendan Rodgers, who is also in his second stint at Celtic Park. Rodgers said: 'We are delighted to welcome Kieran back to Celtic. He is such a talented, high-quality player and he will be a massive addition to our squad. Kieran has always had Celtic in his blood and he is excited to be coming back to the place he loves. 'He is someone who has given so much to Celtic already and I know he is so motivated and hungry to help the club bring more and more success to our fans.' Tierney fell down the pecking order at Arsenal following a knee injury at the end of the 2021-22 season and he spent 2023-24 on loan at Real Sociedad. He made 20 appearances for the Gunners in the second half of the season just finished, all but four of them from off the bench. Tierney now joins the list of 17 players who have left the Gunners since the end of the season, with all of them leaving on free transfers bar Nuno Tavares and Marquinhos, who joined Lazio and Cruzeiro respectively for undisclosed fees. Jorginho has completed a free transfer to Brazilian side Flamengo, while 13 Academy players have been released. They are Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, Khayon Edwards, Romari Forde, Jimi Gower, Jack Henry-Francis, Brian Okonkwo, Salah-Eddine Oulad M'Hand, Ismail Oulad M'Hand, Elian Quesada-Thorn, Jakai Fisher, Reece Clairmont, Max Kuczynski and Zacariah Shuaib. Raheem Sterling and Neto have also departed after loan deals.

Hibs prepare Porteous return offer amid uncertain Watford future
Read more: With his future uncertain at Championship side Watford, Hibs were close to securing a return on loan for the fans' favourite in the final days of the January window. Beaten to the punch by Preston North End, the Easter Road club will study the financial implications of re-signing a player who played over 150 games for the club before moving to Vicarage Road in January 2023. David Gray's side missed out on a guaranteed £5million UEFA windfall when Aberdeen won the Scottish Cup to claim group stage football in the Europa Conference League. With two years left on his current contract, a season long loan deal looks the most realistic proposition. Key to persuading Porteous to return home is the lure of regaining his place in the Scotland squad before the World Cup qualifying campaign gets underway in Denmark in September. Capped 14 times for the senior team Porteous made his last appearance as a late replacement for Anthony Ralston in the first leg win over Greece in the Nations League play-off. Scotland begin their campaign to reach next year's World Cup finals in Canada, Mexico and the United States when they play group favourites Denmark away in Copenhagen in September.
