Where is the The July London Victoria?
Just steps from London Victoria station, you are right in the middle of it all.
The July London Victoria is a mastery in transporting you back in time without feeling dated, with laidback funk and jazz playing while checking into the mid century hotel.
I was obsessed with the interiors as soon as I stepped in - rich mid century wood, painted ceilings and plush red chairs, all while funk and jazz played overhead.
What are the rooms like?
Despite calling themselves aparthotel, it felt more likely being in a trendy A listers flat.
Each room comes with their own kitchenette, complete with Nespresso machines, tea making and all the glassware above the cooker.
Decorated in baby pinks and rich green, I had great fun calling reception on the retro yellow dialling phone.
Along with my very plush double bed, the pink tiled bathroom comes with a walk in shower and Marie-Stella-Maris toiletries, a Dutch brand the hotel has teamed up with.
Despite being by a busy train station, my room was gloriously quiet thanks to overlooking a quiet street behind - meaning a fantastic nights sleep.
What can you eat and drink there?
The hotels The Idler is where you can dine all day.
Lined with rich red leather seats, green ceiling ans pink trikes bar, I felt like I'd gone back to the80s (in a modern way) thanks to the abstract painted ceiling and mix of artwork on the walls
Dinner is a small choice but good size portions affair; My Coppa cured meat and pickles starter was just as good as the whipped butter and sourdough.
As tempted as I was by the steak and fish, the fresh tomato linguine with sides of seaweed salty Cavelero Nero and broccoli were a divine choice, as well as offering extremely large portion sizes. And I could hardly resist the chocolate mousse…
Breakfast is a choice of continental or hot options such as potato hash and poached eggs. Take the kids too as they dine for free with an adult.
Need a late night snack? There is even an on-site deli serving drinks and food to take back to your room.
What else is there to do at the hotel?
The hotel has an onsite 24hr gym - stylishly decorated in red patterns, albeit slightly sparse on the machines - as well as a cold plunge and sauna.
The 24 hour reception is on hand for any questions or help - they happily were on hand when I forgot my phone charger by accident.
Otherwise if you want to explore, catch a show at The West End, or hop on a train to explore the rest of the city.

The hotel has a Family Apartment room which sleeps four, and you can request a free baby bed.
Are there accessible rooms?
There is the Accessible Apartment room which has an accessible bathroom, and there are two lifts in the hotel.

Bradford to host first 'Great Northern Day'
Bradford is set to host the first Great Northern Day, which will celebrate all things event will be held at Darley Street Market's courtyard on August Bank Holiday Sunday, offering food, drink, music and art. Visitors can also take part in shaping the Flag of the North, a new banner to represent the area. The campaign launches at the Bradford event, with attendees invited to submit their final design will be decided after collaboration with universities and communities across the North and Scotland and the final flag will be revealed at Great Northern Day 2026. "The Flag of the North – a symbol of Northern unity, resilience, and pride – and Great Northern Day, a celebration of everything that makes the North, the North."The launch event line-up includes music from across the North – brass bands, DJs, Bhangra and Northern art market and creative workshops curated by Mek Summat and northern-inspired clothing and merchandise will also be on Democracy Reporting Service there will be music from Punjabi Roots, City of Bradford Brass Band, Back Chat Brass, Jordan Wilson (Northern Soul) and the No Hands brands such as Seabrook Crisps, Bundobust, Northern Monk brewery and Great North Pie Co are set to feature in the Council's Alex Ross-Shaw said he was delighted the company chose Darley Street Market to host the inaugural event."The main activity will take place in the courtyard and our Darley Street Kitchen will be open as usual," he said."Our near neighbours on North Parade will also be holding their street party on the same day, so there's plenty of fun to be had in the city centre."Running from 11:00 to 19:00 BST, the event will be free to attend. THIS Morning star Josie Gibson has revealed she went through a terrifying cancer scare after finding a large lump in her breast. She discovered it was related to one of her breast implants and had them both removed. 4 Talking about the 2023 ordeal for the first time, Josie, 40, told the Sun on Sunday: 'I had a big lump underneath my left boob and I was getting really worried about it. 'You could actually see it protruding — you could see the breast had changed shape, so I was getting a little bit frightened. 'So I went to my GP and he had a feel around — it was my breast implant. I went and I had them out and, for me, it was one of the best things I've done.' Josie, a regular presenter on the ITV show, had a breast enhancement operation in 2013 to take her from a B cup to a DD. But she has no regrets about having them removed ten years on, insisting she now has 'peace of mind'. It has inspired Josie to join forces with tombola bingo and charity Breast Cancer Now for their new 'eyes down, check up' campaign. Josie has been busy pounding the streets for the campaign, which aims to raise awareness of symptoms and changes to watch out for, as well as raise up to £1million for charity. She said: 'We only ever talk about breast cancer when something bad happens. Let's make it part of the conversation.' Josie, who launched diet website Slimmables in 2015, is also now busy renovating her £1.1million home outside Bath, living in a caravan on site.
