This Morning made its comeback to television screens on Monday (11 August) with Andi Peters and Emma Willis taking charge of the ITV programme.
Andi and Emma represent the newest presenting partnership to lead the show, whilst regular hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard are taking their summer holidays.
The duo began by previewing various upcoming segments on This Morning, including breaking news and a culinary showcase from Elliott Grover, which led Emma to share a surprising confession.
"Elliott, I would say that looks delicious, but I don't eat fish," she chuckled. "Wow, wow, wow. Stop the show!" Andi declared in response to her admission.
"You don't eat fish? ! Never, ever ever? ! I can't believe it!" he went on. "So, when they come up to you in the restaurant and say 'Dietary requirements?' you say 'I don't eat fish'?", reports the Mirror.
Emma then elaborated on her eating habits, making clear that it represents a "choice not a necessity."
She mentioned, "I did eat a prawn on this show once! Just because I'd never eaten a prawn, and I was like, I'll give it a go.
"So, I might have a sample today, seeing as it's you, Elliott, I might."
ITV audiences were split regarding Andi and Emma presenting This Morning, with numerous viewers heading to social media to express their opinions about the duo.
"I've switched off already #ThisMorning," one viewer posted on X, whilst another commented: "Irritating/over the top Andi Peters.. time to switch over #thismorning."
A third This Morning viewer took to social media to express their frustration: "He's annoying me already and not even two minutes in #thismorning."
However, another viewer defended the presenter, saying: "Oh, I'm so glad Andy is on. In my opinion, he's not presenting enough," whilst a fellow fan chimed in: "I love Andi Peters #thismorning."
Emma and Andi delivered a packed programme for ITV audiences on Monday. The episode featured a chat with The Only Way Is Essex personalities Amy Childs and Harry Derbidge, alongside a discussion about weight loss injections and one woman's candid account of her fluctuating results with the treatment.
The hosting pair were also accompanied by Gyles Brandreth and Tim Campbell, who weighed in on the day's top stories and current affairs. Meanwhile, Phil Vickery presented a segment from Leicester focusing on Walker's upcoming crisp flavours set to hit shelves soon.

Strictly Come Dancing fans 'disgusted' and demand BBC take action over new star

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Strictly Come Dancing viewers have been left 'disgusted' by one of the latest celebrities announced for the forthcoming series. The BBC Saturday evening stalwart started revealing its line-up in recent days, ahead of a September debut, but some supporters are unhappy with who has been selected to take part. Thomas Skinner, who is most famous for featuring on The Apprentice, will be displaying his dancing skills for judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Mosi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke in just a few weeks' time, but due to his reputation for controversial opinions shared on social media, some viewers have expressed their disapproval. One supporter posted on X: "Disgusted that grifter Tom Skinner has got the #Strictly gig. Have the BBC not looked at his social media output?" to which another responded: "Somebody who has different political opinions than me is on television. BAN THEM." However, the original poster maintained that wasn't their intention as audiences in large numbers called for his social media history to be examined, reports the Mirror. Another watcher commented: "Oh dear God no. You really think platforming a known bigot is the right way to go for a show which has already had more than its share of troubles?" whilst a third added: "Appalling booking - has the BBC not seen his social media output?" as they all urged the broadcaster to scrutinise his online presence. One fan, when discussing his social media presence, commented: "They probably have, which is why they haven't tagged his account in the announcement! ! What a bizarre choice from them!" However, another Strictly enthusiast was more critical, stating: "I'm so serious, I loved this years #Strictly line up but casting Thomas Skinner has completely ruined the WHOLE thing,". The 32 year old businessman from Essex, now famous for his successful pillow and mattress business, first gained recognition on the 2019 series of Lord Alan Sugar's BBC show, where he lasted until week nine of the competition. Skinner, also known for his frank videos on social media platform X, has attracted hundreds of thousands of followers with his posts about business, politics, and daily life. His online presence has led to an unexpected friendship with US Vice President JD Vance, Donald Trump's running mate. (Image: PA) Vance has expressed support for the businessman on X after Skinner revealed he had received death threats and "vile comments about my children" following a series of tweets in which he stated "something's gone wrong" in the UK and asserted "there is nothing wrong with being proud of where you're from". Just a few days ago, Tom shared a post with Vance, where the two were seen together at a barbecue. He wrote: "Here is a pic of Me and Vice President @JDVance towards the end of the night after a few beers I'm overdressed in my suit, but when the VP invites you to a BBQ, you don't risk turning up in shorts an flip-flops Cracking night in the beautiful English countryside with JD, his friends and family. Once in a lifetime. Bosh!". In a follow-up tweet, he added: "When the Vice President of the USA invites ya for a barbecue an beers, you say yes. Unreal night with JD and his friends n family. He was a proper gent. Lots of laughs and some fantastic food. A brilliant night, one to tell the grand kids about mate. Bosh!".

Coronation Street's Beverley Callard, 68, showcases her huge leg tattoo in skimpy denim shorts after adding to the 'growing' inking

Coronation Street star Beverley Callard showcased her giant leg tattoo as she uploaded a clip to Instagram on Thursday. The soap actress, 68, who starred as Liz McDonald on the ITV soap, was seen standing in her kitchen wearing a pair of skimpy denim shorts. But as her husband, Jon McEwan - who she has been marry to since 2010- walked towards her, fans were able to catch a glimpse of her extended inking. She has added a sixth magnolia to the 'growing' bloom of flowers which creeps up her lower leg. The design features purple, blue and red flowers with pretty petals winding their way up her calf from her foot. It's not the first tattoo for the soap star, with Beverley previously revealing she got her first inking at 59. The actress had comedy and tragedy masks inked over a music score along with a red love heart in tribute to her husband Jon. The couple's names are written in the love heart along with 30-10-10, their wedding anniversary. Before tying the knot with Jon, Beverley was married to Steve Callard from 1989 until 2001, David Sowden from 1980 until 1988 and Paul Atkinson for three years from 1974 until 1977. Beverley has previously revealed that she's planning to go under the knife because she's 'scared of not getting any work'. Talking about her plans to have a facelift, Beverley told The Sun: 'I am going to do it, yes. It's difficult because our industry is so sexist and ageist, still.' She continued to reflect on how many films have husbands who are much older than their wives, saying the wives are usually 'stick insects… and their faces don't move'. 'I'm just going to join that because I'm scared of not getting work,' she added. The actress is thought to be intending to have the work done at London's Harley Street Skin Clinic. Despite being quite determined to have the surgery, her husband Jon and children Rebecca, 46, and Joshua, 32, are not said to be very keen. Beverley brushed off their concerns, saying she 'hates mirrors' and hasn't got much confidence about her appearance, preferring to play a role than appear as herself. She also detailed Jon's response to her facelift plans while on Melanie Blake's Girl Talk podcast in March, saying: 'Jon really doesn't want me to have it done. 'But I'm going to do it and I am doing it for me.'
