The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a previously unseen picture of their youngest child, Prince Louis, to mark his seventh birthday today

The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a brand new image of Prince Louis in celebration of his seventh birthday today. The photograph, which captures young Louis grinning on a tree trunk with a missing front tooth, was unveiled on the couple's social media channels.
Alongside the photo, the caption read: "Wishing Prince Louis a very Happy 7th Birthday!" complete with a birthday cake emoji. The joyful image was snapped earlier this month in Norfolk by Josh Shinner, who has previously photographed the family.
The Royal Family's social media also featured the photo, accompanied by the greeting: "Happy Birthday to Prince Louis" and decorated with a heart and party emoji.

This latest glimpse of the prince arrives as he, along with older siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte, wrap up the Easter holidays before they head back to Lambrook School for the summer term. Opting out of the usual Royal Easter celebrations at Windsor Castle, the Wales family chose quality time at their Norfolk homestead.

Nevertheless, the family did attend an Easter Sunday service in Sandringham, where Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, joined them. Successfully steering clear of the public outside the church, the family participated in the service and received hot cross buns as they left, reports the Mirror.
Prince Louis, who tends to grow up out of the limelight, was last seen by the public on Christmas Day as the Royals attended their customary church walk on King Charles' Sandringham Estate, where he was spotted receiving presents from well-wishers.
His previous birthday occurred just weeks after his mother, Kate, shared news of her cancer diagnosis, resulting in fewer public engagements for the young prince over the last year.
Nevertheless, Louis featured in a heartfelt video personally published by his mother to mark the end of her chemotherapy in September and was also present at Westminster Abbey for his mother's Christmas Carol Concert held in December.
The young prince seems to be developing sophisticated interests, with his father William disclosing last year that Louis has taken a keen interest in cricket.
His enthusiasm extends to rugby too with Kate once mentioning, "Louis is kamikaze, we're worrying about when he gets older, he'll be in the middle of everything."
He has also showcased his artistic flair, snapping a picture of his mother that was showcased on World Cancer Day in February.

As devoted parents and passionate advocates for mental health, both Kate and William are undoubtedly eager to protect their children from the potential dangers of social media.
Jennie Bond, former BBC Royal correspondent said: "Like any parents these days, William and Catherine have a challenge on their hands trying to monitor and control their children's access to social media at too early an age.
"But they have made their welfare an absolute priority – and that very much includes allowing them to talk about their feelings and problems. George, Charlotte and Louis couldn't have parents who are more in touch with issues surrounding mental health."
The youngest child of William and Kate, who is fourth in line to the throne, was born on St George's Day, April 23, 2018, at the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, weighing 8lb 7oz. He was christened Louis Arthur Charles at 11 weeks old by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby at the Chapel Royal, St James' Palace in front of friends and family.

Art was my educational saviour. "Over years of witnessing what felt like an ongoing decline in educational commitment to the very same arts, I felt it was time I threw my hat back into the ring. To kickstart a debate about culture in general, whilst giving something of a visual symbol of gratitude back to my honestly beloved town.' He revealed that he'd been diagnosed with ADHD in 2023, saying at the time that it "answers a lot of questions about behavioural issues in the past'. He added: "In some respects, you can go back and look at it with regret, but I've had a bit of a charmed life, so it's no regrets," he said. "I know now, and it helps you make changes, I suppose, as you want to get more responsible later in life. I don't see it as defining me.' Programme-maker Adeel Amini, of Rumpus Media, said that fans would love seeing Johnny returning to his roots. 'Johnny tackles art and creativity with his trademark wit and humour, as well as a great deal of honesty and emotion, showing us a brand new side to one of Britain's best-loved figures.' C4 specialist factual boss Shaminder Nahal says: 'This series brings to life the power of art for everyone – how it can soothe, help, energise and inspire. Beautifully filmed over several years, the series showcases Johnny's unique humour, heart and passion – uncovering the intricacies and demands of artistic process along the way. It's an enlightening, eye-opening and emotional journey.' It is thought that as many as one in 20 UK adults could have the condition, but many cases are unidentified. Other celebrities who have been diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood include presenters Ant McPartlin and Richard Bacon, comedian Rory Bremner and TV presenter Sue Perkins.

Loose Women star says she 'always loathed it' as she slams ITV show over one major issue
One Loose Women icon has called out ITV bosses for enforcing one rule during her lengthy stint on the show which used to make her 'shudder'. Loose Women star Carol McGiffin has slammed ITV bosses for their approach to styling the programme's presenters. The 64-year-old expressed how she did not agree with the enforced dress codes and claimed that the presenters transitioned from wearing what they wanted, to being instructed on what to wear for coordination. She also voiced concerns regarding the amount of clothing waste, alleging that some garments were thrown away even if they'd only been worn once. Carol previously had two stints on Loose Women, first from 2000 until 2013, and then again from 2018 until 2023. In an article for Best UK, she said: "I did Loose Women for almost 20 years and the mandated dress codes used to exhaust me. "We went from wearing our own clothes to being bought stuff to adhere to ludicrous wardrobe policies like 'no arms on show', presumably because our ageing biceps were morphing into bingo wings. I always loathed being 'dressed' or 'styled' as they preferred to call it. "You always had to be coordinated up to the eyeballs in nice slacks, wrap dresses or boiler suits. "It used to make me shudder, nearly as much as the insane amount of waste on unimaginable amounts of clothes that had mostly only been worn once". This is not the first time Carol has spoken negatively about Loose Women in recent years, the Mirror reports. In a conversation with Woman's Own last year, she opened up on her reasons for leaving and her feelings regarding her career move. She said: "I don't regret leaving, I don't fit in there anymore." Her bold remarks mirror a past statement she made to OK! magazine while speaking about the show. She previously said: "Someone, somewhere will be offended by absolutely everything. "I'd rather not be on a show that panders to that. It's boring – and I won't be told what I can or can't say." While she has now parted ways with the show, and has little good to say about her former ITV role, Carol remains in touch with some of her former co-stars. Although she shares warmer relationships with a select handful of them. She explained: "I'm still very good friends with a lot of the Loose ladies... Denise Welch popped down here with Lincoln [Townley, her husband] last year and we met them for lunch. "I've seen Kaye [Adams], Jane [Moore] and Nadia [Sawalha] a few times." Carol addressed those she does no longer speak to, saying: "Some, I have nothing in common with. "As I said to them, 'You're not friends, you're just people I work with, who I really like.' Which horrified them."

Justin Baldoni slams Blake Lively's 'false' victory as he makes lawsuit vow
Actor Justin Baldoni has been locked in a legal battle with his It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively as a judge dismissed his £294m defamation lawsuit against her Justin Baldoni's legal team have insisted Blake Lively's victory over her It Ends With Us co-star is "false" after his $400million lawsuit was dismissed by a judge. Their ongoing legal battle kicked off following their time working together on the film. Blake launched a sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin, who has strongly refuted the claims. He then hit back with a $400m defamation claim against her, her publicist and husband Ryan Reynolds, all of whom have dismissed the accusations. Justin went on to launch a $250m libel case against the New York Times over their coverage of Blake's allegations. Yesterday, it was reported his $400million lawsuit was dismissed. Judge Lewis J Liman dismissed the lawsuit due to Blake's allegations being made within privileged court papers, so were subsequently not defamatory. Blake's legal time branded the decision a "total victory" and "complete vindication" for the star. However, Justin's lawyer has now hit back at their celebrations and branded it "false". In a statement to the Mirror, Bryan Freedman said: "Ms. Lively and her team's predictable declaration of victory is false, so let us be clear about the latest ruling. "While the Court dismissed the defamation-related claims, the Court has invited us to amend four out of the seven claims against Ms. Lively, which will showcase additional evidence and refined allegations. "This case is about false accusations of sexual harassment and retaliation and a nonexistent smear campaign, which Ms. Lively's own team conveniently describes as 'untraceable' because they cannot prove what never happened. "Most importantly, Ms. Lively's own claims are no truer today than they were yesterday, and with the facts on our side, we march forward with the same confidence that we had when Ms. Lively and her cohorts initiated this battle and look forward to her forthcoming deposition, which I will be taking. "We are grateful for the organic show of support from the public and for the dedication of the Internet sleuth community who continue to cover the case with discernment and integrity." A spokesperson for Blake, who stepped out at the Chanel Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner red carpet last night, had told the Daily Mail: "Today's opinion is a total victory and a complete vindication for Blake Lively, along with those that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties dragged into their retaliatory lawsuit, including Ryan Reynolds, Leslie Sloane and The New York Times. "As we have said from day one, this '$400 million' lawsuit was a sham, and the Court saw right through it. We look forward to the next round, which is seeking attorneys' fees, treble damages and punitive damages against Baldoni, Sarowitz, Nathan, and the other Wayfarer Parties who perpetrated this abusive litigation." The actress went on to issue a statement on Instagram as she said: "Last week, I stood proudly alongside 19 organisations united in defending women's rights to speak up for their safety. Like so many others, I've felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us. While the suit against me was defeated, so many don't have the resources to fight back." Blake added she was "more resolved than ever to continue to stand for every woman's right to have a voice in protecting themselves, including their safety, their integrity, their dignity and their story". The Gossip Girl actress, who has four children with actor Ryan Reynolds, continued: "With love and gratitude for the many who stood by me, many of you I know. Many of you I don't. But I will never stop appreciating or advocating for you."
