Man arrested as easyJet Glasgow Airport plane met by police
Flight EZY609 was met by police when it landed, who boarded the aircraft and removed the passenger 'due to their behaviour onboard'.
It's understood that the aircraft was parked at a remote stand of the airport for police to deal with the situation.
Police have confirmed that a 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
The airline said that they acted quickly to control the situation and ensure that the safety of passengers and crew wasn't compromised.

An easyJet spokesperson said: "Flight EZY609 from Luton to Glasgow this morning was met by police on arrival in Glasgow, where they boarded the aircraft and removed a passenger due to their behaviour onboard.
"easyJet's crew are trained to assess all situations and act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other customers is not compromised at any time.
"The safety and well-being of our customers and crew is always easyJet's highest priority."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'We received a report of a man causing a disturbance on a flight arriving in Glasgow around 8.20am on Sunday, 27 July, 2025.
'A 41-year-old man was arrested in connection and further enquiries are ongoing.'

One fellow passenger who had been flying to meet her mother in Spain said: 'They were making lots of noise in their seats and the woman appeared pretty drunk. 'But she kept asking for more drink. A cabin crew member suggested she should have coffee but she screamed 'I'm not having coffee!' and asked for more alcohol. 'Then the woman was shouting out to other passengers 'I'm going to join the mile high club.' One fellow passenger who had been flying to meet her mother in Spain said: 'He went in and they locked the door and soon all sorts of loud noises and grunts and groans started. A British Airways pilot was suspended after allegedly leaving the cockpit door open during a transatlantic flight. He wanted his family – who were travelling as passengers – to see him operating the controls while flying from Heathrow to New York JFK last week, according to the Sun. The newspaper reported that his actions 'alarmed' some passengers, and other crew members alerted the airline about the incident. The pilot was suspended, meaning the return flight scheduled to arrive at Heathrow on August 8 was cancelled. Affected passengers were offered alternative flights and the vast majority arrived within four hours of their original plan, it's understood. EasyJet suspends pilot after claims he wandered naked around luxury hotel
An easyJet flight captain has been suspended pending an investigation after claims that he wandered naked around a luxury hotel at the end of an all-night drinking session. The pilot, who has not been named, was seen without any clothes in the reception of a five-star hotel on the Atlantic resort island of Cape Verde early last Tuesday. According to the Sun, which first reported the story, the captain had been drinking at the bar of the Meliá Dunas Beach Resort and Spa since the previous evening. It quoted witnesses who claimed to have seen the man stumbling in a 'paralytic' state. At 2.30am he reportedly removed all his clothes and walked into the reception area, before moving to the gym and spa. The man had been due to fly passengers to Gatwick from Cape Verde last Wednesday. After the incident in the hotel, he was grounded by the airline and a replacement pilot was called up. An easyJet source told the Sun: 'Anyone who saw the pilot cavorting naked in the early hours on the day before a flight would not dream of getting on a plane with him at the controls.' An easyJet spokesperson said: 'As soon as we were made aware, the pilot was immediately stood down from duty, in line with our procedures, pending an investigation. The safety of our passengers and crew is easyJet's highest priority.' EasyJet's flights from Gatwick to Cape Verde are its longest from England, at 2,332 nautical miles, with the journey taking about six hours.
