Ambuja Cements shares in focus after ACC commissions 1.5 MTPA grinding unit in Jharkhand
ADVERTISEMENT With this commissioning, Ambuja Cements' total installed cement capacity has increased to 104.45 MTPA, the company said in a regulatory filing.
'This development marks a significant milestone in the company's journey of growth and excellence,' it added.
Last month, Ambuja had commissioned a 2.4 MTPA brownfield expansion at its Sankrail unit in West Bengal, which had pushed its capacity to 102.95 MTPA.

For the March 2025 quarter, Ambuja Cements reported a 75% year-on-year (YoY) rise in standalone net profit to Rs 929 crore, while revenue from operations grew 19% YoY to Rs 5,670 crore.
ADVERTISEMENT On a consolidated basis, however, profit after tax declined 9% YoY to Rs 956 crore, compared to Rs 1,051 crore in the same quarter last year. Consolidated revenue rose 12% YoY to Rs 9,872 crore.EBITDA stood at Rs 1,868 crore, up 10% YoY, with margins steady at 18.9%. EBITDA per tonne came in at Rs 1,001, excluding a one-time government grant recorded in the previous quarter.

According to Trendlyne, the average analyst target price for Ambuja Cements is Rs 623, implying an upside of just over 6% from current levels. The stock holds a 'Buy' rating from 38 analysts.

Ambuja shares closed 0.1% lower at Rs 590.7 on Wednesday on the BSE, while the benchmark Sensex slipped 0.21%. The stock has gained 12% in the past six months and is up 10% year-to-date. Ambuja Cements' market capitalisation currently stands at Rs 1.45 lakh crore.

GNG Electronics raises Rs 138 crore from anchor investors ahead of IPO launch
GNG Electronics, refurbisher of laptops and desktops, on Tuesday raised Rs 138 crore from anchor investors, ahead of the opening of its IPO for public subscription. ADVERTISEMENT Goldman Sachs Fund, Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, Buoyant Opportunities Strategy, Edelweiss Mutual Fund, and Mirae Asset Mutual Fund have been allotted shares in the anchor round, according to a circular uploaded on BSE's website. As per the circular, GNG Electronics has allotted 58,28,290 equity shares to 14 funds at Rs 237 apiece. This takes the total transaction size to Rs 138.13 crore. The Rs 460-crore initial public offering (IPO) will open for subscription on July 23 and conclude on July 25. The price band has been set at Rs 225 to 237 per share. At the upper end of the price band, the company's market valuation is over Rs 2,700 crore. The IPO is a combination of a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating to 400 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 25.5 lakh equity shares by promoters worth Rs 60.43 crore at the upper end of the price band. This takes the total issue size to Rs 460.43 crore. ADVERTISEMENT Proceeds of the fresh issue will be utilised for the debt payment, funding working capital requirements and for general corporate purposes. GNG Electronics is one of the leading refurbishers of laptops and desktops with significant presence across India, the US, Europe, Africa, and the UAE. PM-KISAN योजना के तहत पात्र किसानों को हर 4 महीने में 2000 की आर्थिक सहायता दी जाती है. New Delhi: Many farmer beneficiaries are eagerly waiting for the 20th instalment of the PM-Kisan scheme. Under the PM-Kisan scheme, farmers are provided with financial assistance of ₹6,000 every year. This amount is given in three separate installments of Rs 2,000 each (PM-Kisan 20th installment date). According to the 19th installment released in February, farmers should have received the 20th installment amount by now. Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that as many as 11,171 farmers in Delhi received Rs 2.59 crore between December 2024 to March 2025 as the latest instalment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. What did the Ministry of Agriculture say? Replying to a question by BJP's South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Union Minister Chouhan shared data in Lok Sabha showing that between August-November 2019 and March 2025, farmers in Delhi received Rs 48.79 crore under the scheme. The Minister said that across the nation, 10.06 crore beneficiaries of PM-KISAN were given Rs 23,500.83 crore in the last instalment for the period from December 2024 to March 2025. Maintaining absolute transparency in registering and verifying beneficiaries, as on July 16, the Central government has disbursed over Rs 3.69 lakh crore to farmers in 19 instalments since inception, said Chouhan. 'A farmer-centric digital infrastructure has ensured that the benefits of the scheme reach all eligible farmers across the country without involvement of any intermediaries,' he said. FAKE NEWS ALERT The Ministry of Agriculture recently shared a post on the social media platform X. In this post, farmers have been advised to stay alert. Through the post, the Ministry of Agriculture stated that no farmer should fall for false information or fake messages being circulated on social media in the name of the PM-KISAN scheme. How to check PM-KISAN scheme Instalment? Step 1: Visit the official website of the PM-KISAN scheme. Step 2: Go to the Farmer Corner section and click on the Beneficiary List option. Step 3: Here, you will have to enter details like State, District, and Sub-district. You'll also need to provide information about your Block and Village. This is how you can check whether the installment has been released or not. To find out if the money has been credited, follow the steps below: Step 1: First, go to the official website of the PM-KISAN scheme. Step 2: Now click on the Beneficiary Status option. You will find it under the Farmer Corner section. Step 3: Now, you will need to enter your Aadhaar number, registered mobile number, or account number here.
