Post Malone Claims A New Longest-Charting Hit
Post Malone's 'I Had Some Help' with Morgan Wallen becomes his longest-charting Hot 100 hit at 62 ... More weeks, passing 'Circles' by one frame. LONDON, ENGLAND - JULY 06: (EDITORIAL USE ONLY) Post Malone performs during Wireless Festival 2018 at Finsbury Park on July 6th, 2018 in London, England. (Photo by Lorne Thomson/Redferns) For years, Post Malone found incredible success in the music industry by switching genres. He first emerged as an exciting new name in the hip-hop space, collecting multiple diamond-certified smashes. He then pivoted again and conquered the charts once more with pop hits that are still played on the radio today. Most artists struggle to score several wins in one field, let alone several, but the Grammy nominee is an outlier, as he's not afraid to mix things up, and his fan base is along for the ride. His biggest hit of all – one which reaches an important number this week – is the one that helped him jump into the country space, which made quite the splash upon its arrival. "I Had Some Help" Becomes Post Malone's Biggest Hot 100 Hit When Malone was preparing to release his first country album F-1 Trillion, he fronted the project with a superstar collaboration alongside Morgan Wallen. Malone dropped "I Had Some Help" in mid-2024, and the tune was an immediate smash. That track now becomes Malone's longest-running hit on the Hot 100 as it earns its sixty-second stay on the tally. "I Had Some Help" Beats 'Circles' "I Had Some Help" was tied last week as Malone's longest-charting Hot 100 single, matching "Circles" with 61 frames on the list. Now, the duet pushes past the pop favorite, and it's not likely to disappear anytime soon. "I Had Some Help" is still present inside the top 20 on the Hot 100 this week, dipping from No. 14 to No. 19. The tune could rebound, after several newer arrivals begin to descend or disappear entirely, and it seems likely that the collaboration will further its lead over Malone's own "Circles" and continue its reign as his longest-running hit for some time. Morgan Wallen Nearly Matches the Same Feat The same single is also tied as Wallen's longest-charting Hot 100 success story, matching the 62 weeks that "You Proof" managed a few years back. In just a few days, when Billboard publishes its rankings again, it's likely that Wallen will see "I Had Some Help" beat "You Proof" for good.

Country Star Says He's 'Blessed' As He Shares Engagement News
Congratulations are in order for Zac Brown and Kendra Scott, country music's newest engaged couple! On Thursday, July 24, PEOPLE revealed that the Zac Brown Band frontman popped the question to the jewelry designer with a jaw-dropping pink diamond ring at sunset. "We are so happy and grateful that we found each other," the couple told PEOPLE, and continue to swoon to anyone and everyone who asks. Just this morning, the 'Chicken Fried' singer echoed the sentiment on TODAY while performing for their 2025 Citi Concert Series. 'What are you gonna get somebody that designs jewelry?' Zac joked on stage when asked about how he popped the question. "But it's incredible, incredible. So happy... We're so happy we found each other and we're blessed. It just adds so much energy to everything else. More to give to music, more to give to our families and everything, so we're blessed." All the while, the camera panned to Kendra, who was nodding along during her fiancé's speech and cheering throughout his performances. Zac and Kendra debuted their relationship to the public back in May while walking the 2025 American Music Awards red carpet. Fans were thrilled for the lovebirds back then and even more so now. 'This is wonderful news to wake up to. Congratulations,' one fan exclaimed on the TODAY show's Instagram post. 'Happy for y'all,' someone else commented. 'Such a lovely couple, sending many blessings for you both,' another fan chimed in. As happy as some fans are for Zac and Kendra, many others are dismayed by how quickly he's moved on, as his legal battle with second wife Kelly Yadzi continues. One can only imagine what it must be like to go through a divorce, let alone one in the public eye. Here's hoping it works out for everyone involved. Country Star, 49, Was Once the Only Boy in Beauty Pageants – and It Nearly Ended His Career
Country Star, 49, Was Once the Only Boy in Beauty Pageants – and It Nearly Ended His Career originally appeared on Parade. is one of country music's biggest names, but the Oklahoma native almost turned away from his career before it even began all thanks to his time in beauty pageants. When he was a small child, Shelton was so desperate to sing that his mom would put him in beauty pageants to give him an opportunity on stage. 'Can't you tell that I'm beauty pageant material?' Shelton joked during an appearance on the 'Q With Tom Power' podcast. 'I had two signature songs back then. I think I was probably seven years old and I was probably, in Ada, Oklahoma, the only boy in the entire pageant, you know? My two songs were 'Old Time Rock 'N Roll' and 'Cat Scratch Fever' by Ted Nugent.' The 'Stay Country or Die Tryin'' singer added that neither he nor his mom really knew what 'Cat Scratch Fever' was about and said that he 'literally thought it was about somebody's house cat scratching them and making them sick.' 'I was so embarrassed and humiliated by being in those pageants, I told her, 'Mom, I don't want to sing anymore because it's just embarrassing and my friends are going to find out,'' Shelton continued. 'But I quit after that because it was just embarrassing, and it wasn't until I was probably 12 or 13 that I started wanting to perform again.' Once Shelton's mom knew how he really felt about being in the beauty pageants, she began entering him in 'little Opry type hometown shows around Ada.' Her persistence paid off and eventually Shelton was performing with a variety of different stars like Kentucky Head Hunters and Travis Tritt. Thankfully, that's all it took to change his mind. 'I was getting to do some country music, you know, and by then, in my mind, there was no stopping me. This is what I was going to do." 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 Country Star, 49, Was Once the Only Boy in Beauty Pageants – and It Nearly Ended His Career first appeared on Parade on Jul 25, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jul 25, 2025, where it first appeared.
