The ever-durable Steve Miller will hit the road this summer for a 31-date tour.
Kicking off Aug. 15 in Bethel, New York, and wrapping Nov. 8 in Anaheim, California, the tour will boast classic rock hits from the Steve Miller Band, whose "Greatest Hits 1974-78" is one of the 25 bestselling albums of all time.
Last year, Miller, 81, and his taut band joined Def Leppard and Journey for a summer stadium run, packing the set with guitar-heavy favorites including "Rock'n Me," "The Joker," "Swingtown" and "Take the Money and Run."
Tickets are on sale now via www.stevemillerband.com.
Earlier this year, Miller's iconic "Fly Like an Eagle" was inducted into the Library of Congress's National Recording Registry. His reach also spanned generations when Eminem sampled 1982's "Abracadabra" on his 2024 hit "Houdini." During his performances on last year's stadium tour, Miller thanked the rapper for using the song.
Miller will also be honored June 9 with the Les Paul Spirit Award, named for the famed guitar innovator.

B-Side Bangers: Mariah Carey

Neil Libbert Get into any heated music debate, and the first thing a true fan will do is pull out the deep cuts to defend their favorite hitmaker. Sure, the singles and Billboard #1's will do the trick, but if you really want to win an argument while also gaining some brownie points it's all about coming through with the b-sides. As we launch 'B-Side Bangers,' a fan-focused editorial series that we'll be curating from time to time for all the audiophiles out there, it really wasn't a hard decision to kick things off with the incomparable Mariah Carey. Ironically enough, the era-defining pop queen has her own reason to celebrate today (5/30) with the release of her latest milestone project, The Emancipation of Mimi: 20th Anniversary Edition . RELATED: Outkast, Mariah Carey Among 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nominees Recognized by many as her comeback album after a highly-publicized breakdown in 2001, less-than-stellar reviews of her shift into Hollywood with Glitter that same year and the criminally-ignored Charmbracelet in 2002, The Emancipation Of Mimi was a flex in every sense of the word and solidified her as an unbreakable force in the industry with no signs of slowing down. Even a full two decades later, what Mariah proved on this album resonated on future projects and the overall trajectory of her career. We don't even need to mention the legacy alone of 'We Belong Together' as a record-breaking single to make the point clear. As you get through the greatest cuts on The Emancipation of Mimi: 20th Anniversary Edition , in addition to some new remixes by way of Solange, KAYTRANADA, esentrik and others, take a look at our own b-side playlist that we put together of Mariah Carey deep cuts. We expect diehards to be singing along, and you can thank us later if some of these are new to your ears. 'Honey (So So Def Remix)' [feat. The film stars Robert De Niro in the dual roles of Frank Costello and Vito Genovese, two rival New York mobsters. The film follows their lives from their friendship at New York's Alto Knights social club through an attempted assassination of Costello and the Apalachin meeting of 1957. Barry Levinson directed from a script by Nicholas Pileggi, the writer of Goodfellas and Casino and the books upon which those films were based. Debra Messing plays Costello's wife, Bobbie. In an interview with UPI, Messing said Bobbie was trying to get Costello to retire. The couple moved to Long Island at her urging. Pileggi and producer Irwin Winkler also spoke with UPI about how Costello and Genovese represented "the end of the mob." The film also stars Cosmo Jarvis, Kathrine Narducci, Michael Rispoli and Wallace Langham. Novelty Car Horn Playing ‘La Cucaracha' Sends Stephen Miller Into Dissociative Fugue State

WASHINGTON—Causing the White House deputy chief of staff to experience intense psychological distress, a novelty car horn playing 'La Cucaracha' reportedly sent Stephen Miller into a dissociative fugue state Friday. 'I saw him walking down the street when the horn sounded, and he froze in place for a full minute and then began shaking all over,' said onlooker Leanne Ossing, confirming that as soon as the first few notes of the Spanish folk song's melody hit Miller's ears, his eyes rolled back in his head, and he began drooling profusely. 'At first I was worried and thought about calling an ambulance. He just stood there with glazed eyes and an odd smile spreading across his face, and after a while he started repeating, ' Ya no puede caminar , ya no puede caminar ,' over and over again in perfect Spanish. It was eerie.' At press time, sources reported that a disoriented Miller had been found covered in blood outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center.
