NRL world showers glamour couple with messages after massive announcement
Rugby League glamour couple Millie and Adam Elliott have been showered with love and congratulatory messages after revealing they are expecting a first child together later this year. The couple tied the knot at the end of the NRL season in 2023, with a host of their teammates and sporting personalities attending the beach ceremony on the Central Coast.
And now the footy golden couple have decided to start a family together, with Roosters NRLW star Millie confirming that she is expected to give birth to their first baby in October. "We're really excited and looking forward to the next chapter," Millie told News Corp. "At the end of last season we decided it would be nice to have a baby. We're very grateful we've reached this stage of the pregnancy (12 weeks)."
The NRLW star says she plans to put her footy career on hold for 12 months, but will continue to perform her media duties for free-to-air league broadcaster, Nine. Millie says after taking a year off from footy, she intends to honour the final two years of her NRLW contract with the Roosters in 2026 and 2027.
The 26-year-old NRLW side says she's "extremely grateful" for the support her club and the NRL have extended her, with billionaire Roosters chairman Nick Politis quick to send his congratulations to the happy couple. "We're all so happy for Millie and Adam,' Politis said. It's a wonderful thing that rugby league has a structure in place where female athletes can start a family, take the time off, but then return when they are ready to play out their contracts."
Millie was a notable absentee from Australia's Jillaroos squad that is in Las Vegas as part of the NRL's blockbuster double-header to open the new season. However, her reason for not travelling to the United States has now become clear, with the league world inundating the couple with messages after they confirmed the incredible news on Instagram.

Fellow NRLW stars Jaime Chapman and Emma Tonegato were among those to send their love. "So happy for you fam," Chapman wrote alongside a series of love heart emojis, while Tonegato replied: Congrats Mills! So happy for you guys." Channel Nine rugby league presenter Danika Mason described it as "the best news" and Nine colleague Allana Ferguson added: "Get this baby in my arms! Congrats team."
While Millie isn't in Vegas for the Jillaroos' historic Test against England, she'll know doubt be watching closely to see how new coach Jess Skinner goes in her first match in charge of the Aussie women's team. The match will be the first time in history that Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas has hosted a major women's sporting event. And Skinner takes charge after being a long-time assistant who was thrust into the top job when former Jillaroos coach Brad Donald was fired in the lead-up to the Test.
Donald had come under scrutiny by the NRL for a disparaging comment made about a journalist in front of the playing group. Skinner has also been part of Newcastle's NRLW coaching staff and hopes to hold onto the top with the Jillaroos as they set about defending their title at the 2026 World Cup.

Skinner has already earned a massive tick of approval from Australian co-captain Kezie Apps, who's been impressed with what she's seen from the coach in Vegas. "She's awesome, I think it's just her personality and her cool, kind demeanour," Apps told AAP in Las Vegas. She's just being herself, she's not trying to be anyone else. She's just being the coach that she is. This was a great transition for her and we knew that she'd be up for it. Hopefully we can get a win for her and set her season up for a great start."

Justin Bieber fans beg him to ‘get help' as he appears to be ‘seriously struggling' in new photos: ‘Sad to watch'
Justin Bieber's fans begged him to 'get help' after he appeared to be 'seriously struggling' in new bathroom selfies shared on Instagram. On Saturday, the 'Stay' hitmaker shared a collection of photos that showed him posing awkwardly and making a series of funny faces in the mirror. 'U could point at my flaws,' he captioned the carousel. 'Or u could recognize ur own lil bitch.' 'So hard and sad to watch. Why are the people around him not helping him when he's clearly struggling. He's not clear at all and hurting,' one of his followers commented. Another social media user added: 'Awh [sic] good love him seriously struggling it's looking like Liam Payne and Britney [Spears] someone needs to help him before it's to [sic] late.' 'Babe. Please go get help,' another chimed in, while someone else wrote that the 'Peaches' singer — who recently was seen sporting a mystery injury — is 'slowly turning into the Britney Spears of our generation.' A rep for the singer did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. The singer's behavior has been a topic of concern after he began exhibiting 'strange' behavior at his wife Hailey Bieber's Rhode skin event, which sparked fan speculation that the singer had been taking drugs. Though Justin's rep slammed the 'harmful' rumors of drug use in February, the Grammy winner, 31, hasn't shied away from unapologetically flaunting his marijuana use in the time since. Recently, he showed off his drug use in an Instagram post as he shared a photo of himself smiling in an armchair while a massive bong sat in his lap. He also admitted to ripping off Hailey with a phone case used to hold blunts modeled after her patented Rhode lip gloss-carrying cases. In April, several people close to the singer expressed their worry for his mental health, telling the Hollywood Reporter that they feared he was falling apart mentally amid rumors of his financial troubles. 'Seeing him disintegrate like this … it's watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose,' a former team member told the outlet. 'He's lost,' the former colleague continued. 'There's no one protecting him because there's no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.'

'It was unclear what intelligence was there, and how much I was really processing.' Bryce shared that her dad Ron, 71, and mom Cheryl took her to a psychologist, who later told the couple about the meetings. 'Can we talk about the dead babies? Because Bryce talks a lot about dead babies,' Bryce recalled the therapist saying, before the star laughed. 8 Ron Howard and Cheryl Howard with daughter Bryce Dallas Howard at a wedding in 1982. 'I live a totally normal life – partly because I'm a shut-in and don't leave the house that much, but I've also just been incredibly lucky,' the 'Mandalorian' director stated. 'When you're an actor, you need to capture a casting director or director's attention,' she said, 'but when you're someone who's related to someone else, there's an inherent curiosity there.'

Jared Leto denies allegations of sexual misconduct with teenage girls
Jared Leto denies allegations of sexual misconduct with teenage girls Jared Leto is denying allegations of inappropriate behavior with young women. In a report published by Air Mail on Saturday, June 7, multiple women alleged that the "Suicide Squad" actor, 53, behaved inappropriately with them when they were teenagers. A representative for Leto told Air Mail that "all of the allegations are expressly denied." The representative also denied an earlier allegation from Allie Teilz, a DJ who posted last month in a since-expired Instagram Story that she was "assaulted and traumatized" by Leto when she was 17, according to Air Mail. In a 2012 Facebook status update that she reposted on Instagram, Teilz wrote, "Youre (sic) not really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage ... In a kilt .. And a snow hat." The representative said that "Ms. Teilz's allegations are demonstrably false." USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Leto for further comment. One woman, model Laura La Rue, told Air Mail that in 2008, the actor approached her at a benefit in California and asked her how old she was. When she said she was 16, La Rue alleged Leto, then 36, still asked for her number. She said she was living in Ojai, California, at the time but that they began emailing and that she eventually went to visit him in Los Angeles in 2009. "I remember him teasing me the whole time I was there," she said. "He was flirting with me. He'd lean in close, then pull away, like it was a game." La Rue said she continued visiting Leto sporadically and claimed that on one occasion, when she was 17, he walked out of a room completely nude. A representative for Leto told Air Mail that the actor's communications with La Rue "contain nothing sexual or inappropriate," adding that "Ms. La Rue later applied to work as Mr. Leto's personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions." La Rue told Air Mail she did not apply to work as Leto's personal assistant. An unidentified model and music producer told Air Mail that in 2006, when she was 16, Leto grabbed her arm while she was on her way to the bathroom at a café and got her number. Days later, the actor, who would have been in his 30s at the time, allegedly called her home in the middle of the night and invited her to a party at his house, which she declined. But the woman alleged Leto continued to call her over the next three weeks, "always at one, two, three a.m.," and that the "conversations turned sexual," with the actor asking inappropriate questions about her past sexual experiences. The woman said she was shaken by Leto's behavior, and her mother, who said she overheard one of the phone calls, vouched for her daughter's account to Air Mail. "He changed − his voice, the way he talked. It scared me," the woman told Air Mail. Another woman claimed she began a texting relationship with Leto when she was underage. She said things could turn uncomfortable when she visited his home, with the actor asking her sexual questions. In an alleged encounter when she was 18, the woman claimed Leto "suddenly pulled his penis out and started masturbating," then "walked over, grabbed my hand, and put it on him." Leto's representative denied her allegations. Leto, who won the best supporting actor Oscar in 2014 for "Dallas Buyers Club," has starred in films like "Morbius" and "House of Gucci" and is the frontman of the band Thirty Seconds to Mars. He also stars in Disney's upcoming "Tron" sequel, "Tron: Ares," set for release in October.
