SAM Thompson has been given a huge boost during his 260-mile endurance challenge after being surprised by a massive A-lister.
The telly and radio star, 34, was left screaming with amazement after receiving some words of encouragement from the Hollywood actor.

Sam had called in for a pitstop on Thursday morning to chat to Colson Smith live on This Morning.
But before continuing on his way, Sam - who has torn his calf muscle - was given the ultimate lift.
Orlando Bloom spoke to the former Made In Chelsea star live from the This Morning studio - and Sam was gobsmacked.
Realising who was speaking to him, Sam began yelling and attempting to jump up and down with his painful legs.
He then listened open-mouthed as Orlando gave him some encouraging words as he nears the end of his gruelling Unicef challenge for Soccer Aid.
The British actor, who has starred in blockbuster movies Lord Of The Rings and Pirates Of The Caribbean, told Sam: "We are so proud of you, mate!
"It's amazing what you are doing. You're in the home stretch, we're all pulling for you.
"Like you, I have seen the work Unicef do in the field, it's amazing.
"You're a hero, everyone donating is a hero. I'm going to throw some at you as well. I hope it helps.
"You are remarkable. I only wish I could find time to come out and see you and cheer you over the line.

"But it's incredible what you're doing and Unicef, as an ambassador for many years, we are so grateful for all the women and children's lives around the world you're changing.
"Congrats, mate. We're pulling for you."
Sam screamed: "Oh my god, Orlando Bloom!"
Orlando - who has been an ambassador for Unicef since 2009 - said the exchange "brought a tear to his eye".
Sam is on the penultimate day of his five-day Match Ball Mission.
He has been tasked with transporting the Soccer Aid ball 260-miles from Stamford Bridge in London to Old Trafford in Manchester.
Sam is running and cycling the journey and aims to complete it on Friday June 6.
On Wednesday, the former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star broke down in tears as he was surprised by Pete Wicks.
In a heartwarming clip, Pete could be seen waiting for his best pal as he approached him on his run.
Sam was seen limping due to his calf injury and, upon seeing his BFF, he burst into tears.
Pete pulled him in for a hug and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
'You all right? Come here. It's alright,' Pete said to Sam.
The tearful reality star replied: "I didn't know you were coming."
Pete said: 'Of course I'm coming, do you think I'd miss this? Come on, I'm so proud of you. Look how proud I am. You're smashing it."
Struggling to compose himself, Sam said that he didn't think he was "smashing it".
Sam is completing the challenge in support of Soccer Aid, which takes place on Sunday June 15.

British man orders pint in Benidorm but is totally floored by price
A British man recently visited Benidorm and ordered a pint at a well-known bar. He was floored when he was told the price of the tipple, and what it would set him back A British man ordered a pint in Benidorm but was left totally floored by the price. The man, who appears to be no stranger to Spain, was taken aback when he was told how much a drink would set him back at the popular holiday hotspot. Known as the Benidorm Fanatic to his TikTok followers, he told people he headed to Uncle Ron's bar, which is said to be "famous" for its pints, notable for how cheap they're sold for. As he ventured to the venue, he was left astoudned at the price list, as he seriously got a lot for his money. In the clip, he said: "I tell you what, I believe it's actually a very, very nice pint as well, so it comes to the equivalent of about 84p in British money. Let's go and try it out, shall we? Let's give it a try." After he made his way to the bar, he added: "So there you go, I'll give you a euro, a €1 pint, and I'll take that. Let's try this €1 pint. Look at that - a nice, clean, cold pint. It's got a nice, good head on it - let's try it. "That is actually one of the best pints I've had in one of the popular bars. That is actually one of the best pints I've had in Benidorm to be honest with you. €1, I'll drink them all day." Since he shared the video, many people have viewed it, and they were quick to comment too. They shared their thoughts, and some posted their own Benidorm stories. One said: "Wow." Another shared: "I was there last week." A third replied: "Lovely pint. Had many." Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: "Bargain." If you've never heard of Uncle Ron's before, it's a popular spot for British tourists in Benidorm. As well as being known for its cheap drinks, it also serves food too. According to TripAdvisor, the venue serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and also has 3.8/5 rating on average, according to the review platform. Many people say it's worth a visit if you're looking for a reasonable meal and a few drinks while on holiday. In the review section, one person wrote: "Had a fantastic breakfast at Ron's today. Lovely English produce. Great service. Brilliant staff. "A massive group came in, but they were serviced promptly. Don't know how they manage with so few staff." Another said: "Last day we visited for some lunch before heading to airport. Left full, which is always a good thing. In all my times of going here, never left unhappy at the service nor the food - always really good." A third replied: "We went many times during our two-week holiday. The staff are friendly and extremely hard working day and night. "Cheapest drinks you will find in town and food to suit everyone (daily deal only 6 euros). It's not a stylish 5* restaurant but then you wouldn't expect it. "For drinks just go to the bar like a normal bar. Always busy Sunday and Friday, so expect to book if you want a Sunday lunch. Would we go again? Certainly would!"

Sue Cleaver reflects on '25 years of laughs' after Coronation Street exit
Eileen Grimshaw had a special send-off during Friday's episode of the soap, where she was seen leaving for Thailand alongside her son Jason Grimshaw, played by Ryan Thomas. Simon Gregson's character Steve McDonald, Tony Maudsley's George Shuttleworth, and Eileen's son Todd, played by Gareth Pierce, all said goodbye to the matriarch before drivers from the local taxi firm honked their horns as she was driven off. In an Instagram post, Cleaver said: 'Well… that's a wrap. 25 years of laughs, tears, costumes, chaos — and one unforgettable journey. A post shared by Sue Cleaver (@officialsuecleaver) 'I'll miss this character like crazy, but what a ride it's been. Thank you for every moment.' Cleaver has played the outspoken and uncomplicated Eileen in the ITV show since 2000. Eileen came to Weatherfield to work at the local taxi firm, Streetcars, to provide for her two tearaway teenage children, Jason and Todd. She soon became friends with her boss Steve and came into conflict with Helen Worth's character Gail Rodwell (also known as Gail Platt). Cleaver took part in I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2022, where she opened up about reconciling with her birth mother, and was eliminated third. She also said her family is 'bizarrely interconnected' to other Coronation Street stars, including Worth who is godmother to one of her half-sisters, while her other half-sister's husband, John Bowe, appeared on the cobbles as Duggie Ferguson. In 2024, she released a book A Work In Progress in which she discusses how she feels she is not past her prime. In recent years she has appeared as a panellist on ITV chat show Loose Women.
