While initially the Edmonton Oilers had maintained silence around the nature of his injury but head coach Kris Knoblauch had informed that Zach Hyman had to undergo surgery and he won't be available for any upcoming games.
Zach Hyman recently spoke about his injury before Game 1 against the Florida Panthers and said, 'I knew it wasn't good when I got hit. Right away, I just felt my wrist kind of go on me.'
