, in which 26 tourists lost their lives in a brutal assault by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists.
Zinta took to Instagram on Sunday to share an emotional video and note from the event, where she addressed and interacted with army families. Dressed in ethnic attire, the Veer-Zaara actor was seen standing alongside Veer Naris and expressing her deep respect for their strength.
In her speech, Zinta said, "Humari Bhartiya Sena, parakrami nahi, bohot bahadur bhi hain, but usse zyada bahadur aur parakrami in sabke parivaar waale hain.
Yeh toh ek bohot chhoti bhet hain humari taraf se.'
The actor also penned a long caption describing her emotional experience at the gathering, where she was visibly moved by the sacrifices and stories of India's armed forces and their families.
'As I drove towards the auditorium in the South Western Command of the Indian Army, I saw posters of army officers and jawans at regular intervals, that won various bravery awards. Some laid down their lives for our country while others came back with scars from the battlefield. These men were husbands, sons, brothers & fathers. They are part of our armed forces and they gave up their today for our tomorrow !
We will never know them. Most of us will never hear of them, think of them or miss them. We might mention their sacrifice in a conversation & admire their bravery for a moment before we get on with our lives. This sad reality hit hard as I struggled to bring a smile on my face when I reached the event for Army Women's Welfare Association (AWWA)
At the event I met the women that would miss these men everyday & every moment of their lives. I met their kids and I saw their smiles. There were no complaints & no tears ! Just pride, strength & sacrifice. There was so much bravery in that auditorium it humbled me beyond words. It was truly my honour to share the stage with these Veer Naris & their families🙏
I went with a small contribution to say thank you for your service & for your sacrifice.

This release marks the first time the title is available to Nintendo players. The move comes as Nintendo officially launched the Switch 2, marking a major upgrade to its popular hybrid gaming console. The move comes as back catalogue sales gain increasing importance for developers amidst a trend of delayed new game releases, a report by news agency Reuters said. CD Projekt has relied on sales of existing games, including its "Phantom Liberty" expansion for "Cyberpunk 2077" released in September 2023, to support its performance. Last month, Tomb Raider owner Embracer ( similarly indicated a reliance on its back catalogue for cash flow due to fewer new game launches. "Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition" is priced at $69.99 for the Nintendo Switch 2. Jennifer Lopez is coming back to the silver screen with the movie Kiss of the Spider Woman, which is a musical, something that brings together two of the things she is most passionate about: singing and acting. Director Bill Condon and the producers seem to be cashing in on the success of Wicked last year, which earned over Rs 400 crore worldwide and have already released the trailer for the sequel. The trailer opens up by focusing on Ingrid Luna's (Jennifer) lavish Hollywood lifestyle and two of her admirers talking about her musical Kiss Of A Spider Woman. The film is based on the stage musical of the same name by Terrence McNally, John Kander and Fred Ebb. At the centre of it are two characters stuck in an Argentinian prison, who slowly form an intimate bond. The two men, Valentin and Luis, are played by Diego Luna and Tonatiuh, respectively. Valentin can later be seen settling well into his revolutionary ideals, as he evolves into a beacon of anti-establishment now armed with movies and storytelling. The film keeps going back and forth between the glamour of the musical and the true lives of the men, which are grim beyond repair. Luis gains freedom like in the original story and joins the revolution started by Valentin and is seen getting in trouble, which will likely be the end for him just like in the novel. Helmed by Academy Award winner Bill Cordon, the cast of the film also includes Josefina Scaglione and Tony Dovolani.
