Margot Robbie and husband Tom Ackerley share intimate balcony kiss on Italian getaway
The couple – who welcomed their first baby together in November – were seen sharing a sweet moment on the balcony of the Grand Hotel Parker's in Naples over the weekend.
In the intimate photos, Robbie could be seen taking a sip from an Acqua Panna glass water bottle as she took in the picturesque views.
The 35-year-old looked stunning in a strapless mini dress made from a vintage print tapestry by designer Kristin Mallison.
The Barbie star was later joined on the balcony by Ackerley, her husband of almost 10 years who is also the co-founder of their production company, LuckyChap Entertainment.
Ackerley, also 35, was seen wrapping his arms around Robbie, while planting a tender kiss on her head as she relaxed on the balcony.
Before arriving in Italy, the couple visited their old stomping ground in London, where they once lived in a four-bedroom share house in Clapham with five other friends back in 2014.
On their recent London visit, Robbie reportedly shouted an entire restaurant a round of cocktails.
The star dined at the Australian restaurant Bondi Green in London with Ackerley and their friends last week, with the generous Hollywood star treating 100 lucky diners to a cocktail made from her own gin, Papa Salt.
'Margot, her husband and friends were having a wonderful time and couldn't get enough of the classic Aussie cuisine on offer which must have been a taste of home,' one diner said, as per The Canberra Times.
'They enjoyed a few rounds of cocktails and even shouted everyone in the restaurant a cocktail made from her gin including her signature serve – Papa Salt with ice, soda, a large slice of a fresh orange and black pepper.'
Robbie's holiday comes amid a busy year for the former Neighbours star.
Since returning from a much-needed hiatus after the Barbie film and jam-packed press tour, and taking some time away to be with her baby boy, Robbie has now worked on back-to-back projects.
She recently wrapped production on the much-anticipated Wuthering Heights adaptation, which also stars fellow Australian Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff. And she also filmed the fantasy rom-com A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.

It's been 32 years since Mrs Doubtfire graced our screens. Now, the actor who played Chris Hillard wishes to resurrect his late co-star, the legendary Robin Williams, in a very 2025 way. Matthew Lawrence wants Williams to be the trusty voice reading out the weather on our smart speakers. He told Entertainment Weekly that the actor should be the next 'voice of AI.' 'I would love — now, obviously, with the respect and with the okay from his family — but I would love to do something really special with his voice because I know for a generation, that voice is just so iconic.' 'It's not just the fact that I knew him and worked with him, and so it's in my head — it's in everybody's head. And it would be so cool.' The idea came to Lawrence after watching one of Williams' old commercials. The actor, who died by suicide in 2014 at age 63, had done a computerised voiceover that Lawrence found eerily ahead of its time. 'It's kinda like this very contemporary, modern, almost sort of foreshadowing of what's going on commercial that he did, where he did this computerised voiceover,' he explains. 'And it always stuck with me. And then, during his passing, with the AI coming out, I'm like, 'Man, he's gotta be the voice of A.I. He's gotta be the voice in something.' So yeah, I would love to do that.' There's no denying Williams' voice is instantly recognisable. Hearing it again would likely spark nostalgia and joy for many. Still, using AI in a project like this raises serious concerns. Lawrence, clearly enthusiastic, suggested plenty of possibilities for Robin's voice in tech — even using it for driving navigation. 'It would be Robin!' Lawrence happily stated. 'It would be so cool. I'm telling you.' Yelling at Siri or Alexa when you miss a turn is normal these days. But yelling at the voice of Robin Williams might come with some follow-up guilt. William's daughter, Zelda Williams, has publicly slammed AI recreations of her father. During the SAG-AFTRA strike in October 2023, she posted a statement on social media expressing her discomfort with the technology. 'I am not an impartial voice in SAG's fight against AI,' Zelda, 35, wrote. 'I've witnessed for YEARS how many people want to train these models to create/recreate actors who cannot consent, like Dad.' 'I've already heard AI used to get his 'voice' to say whatever people want and while I find it personally disturbing, the ramifications go far beyond my own feelings,' she continued. 'Living actors deserve a chance to create characters with their choices, to voice cartoons, to put their HUMAN effort and time into the pursuit of performance.' Lawrence was just a pre-teen when he played Williams' son in 1993's Mrs. Doubtfire, and their relationship clearly made a lasting impression. At the first annual '90s Con in 2022, Lawrence shared how Williams — who struggled with substance abuse — warned him about the dangers of drugs during filming. '[Williams] was very serious. He was like, 'You know when you come to my trailer and you see me like that?'' Lawrence shared. 'He's like, 'That's the reason why. And now I'm fighting for the rest of my life because I spent 10 years doing something very stupid every day. Do not do it.' I stayed away from it because of him.' In an earlier interview with Entertainment Weekly, Lawrence reflected on two key lessons Williams taught him: the importance of compassion, and not judging others without walking in their shoes. 'He really quantified what it was to be a real artist for me in the sense that he was definitely,' Lawrence said, 'and I worked with some great people, and he was definitely the most brilliant artist I've ever worked with.'

Joan Anderson, who brought the hula hoop from Australia to the world, dies age 101
The Australian woman uncredited for her role in making the hula hoop an international sensation has died aged 101. Joan Anderson was born in Sydney in December 1923, where she lived until 1946 before moving to Hollywood in the United States. On a trip back to Australia 11 years later to visit family she noticed a fad that caught her eye. "Everywhere I would go, everybody was giggling and carrying on and I asked what was going on?" she recounted. She told her husband, Wayne Anderson, about it and her mother in Australia sent one to the US. Showing the bamboo ring off to a friend, they observed it looked like she was "doing the hula" — and the name was cemented. Anderson was the subject of short documentary Hula Girl in 2018, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and screened at Sydney Film Festival. She said her husband had met toy businessman Arthur 'Spud' Melin at work and thought he would be interested in the hula hoop. "We never even went to his office, we were outside of his building," Anderson said. "There were no witnesses, just Spud, my husband and myself. "We told him we've called it the hula hoop and he thought that was a great name for it." Anderson said Melin told them he thought the toy had merit and was sealed with a "gentleman's handshake". But the couple's claim to fame was never reached. Melin went on to patent the hula hoop in 1958 through his company Wham-O, also known for Frisbees and the Slip 'N Slide. He was credited for inventing and manufacturing the instantly popular hoop, which became a craze around the country with millions sold in the first two months alone. "They just ignored us and totally cut us off," Anderson said, then aged 93. "When you don't know a lot about business, you kind of trust somebody that you're turning it over to. She said the company initially did not acknowledge who gave them the hula hoop. Earlier news reports cited an "Australian friend" who "casually mentioned" the bamboo ring to Melin, who then saw its true potential. "I think that bugged me more than anything," she said. In 1961, Anderson and her husband settled their lawsuit with the Wham-O Corporation, but after paying attorney's fees, were only left with under $US6,000. "The world isn't fair but life goes on. You win some, you lose some." After moving to America, Anderson joined the Blue Book Agency at the Ambassador Hotel as a model, according to her biography. "This is where I met Marilyn Monroe, who then was Norma Dougherty," she wrote. "She was married to a policeman and had dark hair. We went on a few modelling jobs together." She met her husband, an American P38 pilot, on Bondi Beach in 1946 before sailing out of Brisbane to Los Angeles that same year. "My first trip away from home — and it was a big one," she said. They had four children, and moved to Carlsbad in California for their retirement. "My husband passed away in 2007 after 62 years of marriage," Anderson said. "He was the love of my life and my soul mate ... I think he would be very proud of me." In a statement announcing Anderson's death, her family said: "She had a wonderful life and died peacefully on July 14, 2025 with her family around her. "She will be greatly missed."

Two big noughties movies stars have been spotted holding hands after seeing a movie together, suggesting they may be quietly dating. She's All That and Josie and the Pussycats actress Rachael Leigh Cook, 45, was spotted hand-in-hand with former Superman actor Brandon Routh, also 45, in Los Angeles over the weekend. While Cook's career as an actress and model started when she was just a child, she's best known for her starring role in the 1999 teen comedy She's All That alongside Freddie Prinze Jr. and for playing the titular role in Josie and the Pussycats two years later. She wed Canadian actor Daniel Gillies in 2004, and the pair had two children together before they divorced in 2021. Cook said in a 2021 interview that, despite her string of box office hits around the turn of the millennium, she never saw herself as being in contention with some of the other big young actresses of the time. 'I never saw myself as shiny and pretty in the way that someone like Jessica Alba or Jennifer Love Hewitt were then,' she told The Independent.
