Preacher doesn't flinch as activist points apparent gun at his head
Unfazed and unshaken.
Shocking video has been released showing the moment a pastor had an apparent gun pointed in his face by an activist – but the cool-headed preacher hardly moves a muscle.
Kevin Kihara, 37, a pastor of Christian Forgiveness Ministries in San Francisco, was speaking out against the transgender ideology in Santa Ana on Wednesday when the unhinged aggressor came at him, brandishing what appeared to be a firearm.
"He didn't make a man to be a woman, he made the man to be a man," Kihara belted out to passers-by on the California sidewalk, before adding, "He didn't make the woman to be man, he made the woman to be a woman and this is the truth!"
Kihara, who was speaking into a mic on a sidewalk, then calmly looks and sees the person – who is out of shot – fast approaching.
"What are you going to come attack me now?" Kihara says bluntly.
That's when the emotionally charged person -- dressed in denim overalls and a black and white striped T-shirt – walks up to him and pulls out what appears to be a large handgun and points it in Kihara's face.
"I should," the tattooed person responds.
But Kihara barely flinches, holding the mic and then blasting back at the menace, exclaiming: "Hey man, it's up to you if you want to pull that on me. God bless you."
The furious person then turns away and marches into the distance yelling profanities at the church leader.
"Shut the f--- up!" the suspect screams, fleeing the scene.
Unfazed, Kihara keeps preaching.
"So you just threatened me with a gun," he says. "You just pulled a gun on my face. Man, Lord have mercy on you," he continued. "This means you don't even know who you are. I still love you though. Even you pulled a gun on me, I still love you, I still bless you."
The video, which was initially posted to Christian Forgiveness Ministries' YouTube channel, generated plenty of responses, with most commenters heaping praise on Kihara's coolness in the face of a potential life and death situation.
"I'm thrilled your [sic] still alive. You're super courageous. I pray for your protection," wrote one commenter. "What a legend," wrote another.
It's unclear if the gun was real, with some online sleuths arguing it was a C02 BB gun, or air pistol. It's not known if Kihara reported the incident to police.
Fox News Digital reached out to Christian Forgiveness Ministries for comment but did not receive a response.
Immediately following the incident, a woman walks up to Kihara and argues with him over preaching about trans people.
"God does not appreciate what you're doing right now," she says, among other points.
"He knows that I'm preaching the truth," Kihara says. Their back and forth lasts for about four minutes before she eventually walks off.

Karen Read trial testimony ends with defense expert dismantling Lexus crash allegation
Karen Read's defense saved her strongest witness for last, experts tell Fox News Digital, bringing in Dr. Andrew Rentschler to try to debunk the prosecution's claims about how her boyfriend, Boston cop John O'Keefe, died. Jurors have the day off Thursday and will begin deliberations after receiving instructions from the judge and listening to closing arguments Friday. Read, 45, is accused of hitting O'Keefe, 46, with her 2021 Lexus LX 570 SUV on Jan. 29, 2022, and leaving him to die on the ground with a skull fracture during a blizzard. Her defense denies that her vehicle ever struck O'Keefe, and Rentschler spent two days on the stand explaining how he came to the conclusion that O'Keefe's injuries were inconsistent with a vehicle strike on a pedestrian. 'I do not believe that injury is consistent with being struck by an SUV at approximately 24 miles an hour,' he testified. O'Keefe had no broken bones on his right arm, only superficial abrasions, he testified. Based on his testing at ARCCA, a crash reconstruction firm, he said that the arm should have sustained more serious damage. 5 Crash reconstruction expert Dr. Andrew Rentschler served as the last witness for the defense in Karen Read's case. "One thing that I'm very happy about is, I know that by taking strong action here, he's keeping it from occurring in other cities around the country, because what you don't want is what ultimately happened in 2020 where we saw it happening not just in one city but in city after city where more than two dozen people died and billions of dollars of damage occurred because it wasn't handled quickly enough, and we've learned from that." Issa told Fox News Digital that he finds it curious why Democrats have used the word "insurrection" to describe the Jan. 6th riots that lasted hours but have not used the term to describe what has unfolded in Los Angeles over several days. "We heard the word 'insurrection' for a couple of years nonstop, and now in Los Angeles, when people are directly assaulting property and law enforcement, that's the very definition of insurrection; and particularly when they're doing it on behalf of people who are sitting in jails because they were arrested for crimes, not just for entering the country illegally but for actual felonies," Issa said. "And it's sort of amazing to believe that high-ranking elected officials like Gov. Newsom would actually try to defend any of that action. And yet they're doing it." Issa went on to say that Newsom's response to the riots "might have worked in the era of print or maybe even the era of radio" but that video evidence of rioting from the scene makes his position untenable. "Television and podcasts and everyone having a cellphone, those images are going to be what the American people [is going to] see when he tries to pretend that he was a good governor," Issa said. "They're going to see a failure to do his job and an absolute resistance against those who came in to do it for him." Fox News Digital reached out to the offices of Newsom and Bass for comment. "Trump is pulling a military dragnet all across Los Angeles, well beyond his stated intent to just go after violent and serious criminals," Newsom said on Tuesday night.
