F1: Brad Pitt shares valuable advice for young actors struggling with Superhero film expectations: "Caught up in pressure"
Brad expressed his worry for the next generation, even though he did talk about how much he loved them. The Formula racer disclosed in a podcast that young Hollywood actors are "caught up" in the pressure to star in superhero films. However, he also offered the actors some helpful advice.
Advice from Brad Pitt for aspiring Hollywood actors
Brad urged the young actors on the New Heights podcast to ignore the pressure, which was not present when he first started out. "I like watching what the new generation is coming in with.
I like to see what they are up against and the way they negotiate and work their way through it. They enjoy it more," he remarked.
"We were more uptight, and it had to be about acting… like, you didn't sell out, you didn't sell out. But now it's like, 'We can be artists in many different arenas, so let's do it and let's enjoy it.' But they also get caught up in 'you have to have a franchise' or 'have to have a superhero.' But I keep saying, 'Don't! Don't! They'll die'," the Formula One star added.

Germany's Adidas Originals, CLOT redefine sport style with summer drop
adidas Originals and Edison Chen continue their groundbreaking partnership with the release of a new collaborative collection of footwear, apparel and accessories - marking a bold evolution from traditional design to redefining the ideas of heritage, sport, and lifestyle, including a reimagined CLOT Stan Smith Espadrille and a unisex collection of club-ready apparel. In a new campaign to coincide with the collection, the tennis icon Stan Smith and CLOT Creative Director Edison Chen join South Korean actress and model Hoyeon, British artist and skateboarder Blondey, awarded F1 driver George Russell, and social personality and model Jashlem. Set against the backdrop of a country club that is at first glance pristine and traditional; rules are instead rewritten and not followed. From playful styling to surreal portrayals, the setting is subtly subverted to reflect a youthful energy and creative irreverence to the norm. The result is a reinterpretation of legacy codes through an unexpected, bold, and uniquely CLOT lens, with a nod to the heritage of adidas Originals. Adidas Originals and Edison Chen have unveiled a bold new collection blending heritage with streetwear, highlighted by the reimagined CLOT Stan Smith Espadrille. Fusing tradition and rebellion, the footwear features espadrille soles and intricate detailing in both white and black. Unisex club-ready apparel echoes varsity nostalgia with modern twists. "The Stan Smith is a silhouette I wanted to explore from the very beginning of our partnership," said Edison Chen, founder of CLOT . "Integrating an espadrille sole into such a legendary sneaker was a unique challenge, but it opened up new creative possibilities that reflect the spirit of both tradition and rebellion." The new CLOT Stan Smith espadrille sees the Stan Smith, named after the tennis legend, himself, undergo a transformative design process reflecting Edison Chen's evolved philosophy of cultural fusion, one that speaks through material choice rather than overt symbolism. An espadrille sole represents a masterful deconstruction of the iconic tennis silhouette, reimagining it through the lens of seasonal craftsmanship and contemporary streetwear sensibilities. A classic white version features a pristine deconstructed upper paired with a traditional espadrille sole, enhanced by intricate embroidery details that add texture and visual interest, while a black iteration pushes material boundaries through its use of a synthetic jute-inspired construction, addressing the practical challenges of dyeing natural fibers while maintaining the authentic espadrille aesthetic. This version features the same deconstructed upper philosophy, elevated by a distinctive chenille heel mustache detail that adds tactile richness and visual contrast. Both colorways feature CLOT and Stan Smith branding on the heel tabs, providing a subtle nod to the collaboration's prestigious lineage. The apparel offering includes cotton crocheted vest and striped polos with matching fringed shorts and a tailored camp shirt with subtle lace embroidery over the classic adidas three-stripes. A palette of forest green, cream, chocolate brown, and subtle hints of maroon and gold evoke varsity nostalgia while offering a fresh take on athletic-inspired silhouettes. This highly anticipated release reflects Edison Chen's mission to bridge East and West, old and new, and bring to life a new take on rich sporting heritage. Host your own Alice in Wonderland tea party
Every July 4th, celebrate the day Lewis Carroll first told Alice's adventures. Host a Mad Hatter hi-tea with playing cards, Queen of Hearts tarts, and 'Eat Me' treats. Transform your space with fairy lights, glowing mushrooms, and a 'Drink Me' bar. Observed every year on July 4, it marks the day when Carroll first shared the story with Alice Liddell, an acquiantance and the subject of his story, during a boat ride. What better way to honour a world where time runs wild, and logic takes a holiday, than by hosting your very own, delightfully mad Alice-themed hi-tea? Add playing cards, serve Queen of Hearts tarts, and don't forget a little 'Eat Me' magic in the menu. After all, in Wonderland – the more bonkers, the better! Host your own Mad Hatter soiree Planning an enchanting hi-tea means transforming your space into a topsy-turvy Wonderland. 'Begin by setting the mood with fairy lights draped on trees or in bottles, glowing mushrooms, and candles in teacups to evoke that 'Mad Hatter's Tea' vibe. Add a 'Drink Me' bar with funky mocktails and an 'Eat Me' corner with themed desserts,' says Ishika Agarwal, founder of an event management brand. Create a riddle station, just like the Cheshire Cat might. For photos, set up a booth with props like rabbit ears, crowns, and grumpy cat smiles. Floating hats, teacups, and golden keys can add to the charm. Blue, bows & beyond For a fresh spin on Alice's iconic look, try a modern Alpha Gen twist with a corset over a slip dress. 'Powder blue is key. It's quintessentially Alice. Keep the silhouette simple with textured fabrics. Lace, ribbons, and a princess bodice with a gathered bottom nod to classic European style,' says stylist Neel Saha. For makeup, focus on wide, innocent eyes with white liner and rosy blush. 'This gives you that youthful, curious gaze,' adds Sonam Jaiswal, makeup artist. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Trending in in 2025: Local network access control [Click Here] Esseps Learn More Undo Finish with loose waves and a black ribbon headband for a perfect Wonderland touch. Tea time with a twist of whimsy Johanne Mantosh, who styled the table for us, suggests to keep the theme whimsical, chaotic, but calm. 'I've used colourful flowers, mismatched cutlery, and elements like a horse spoon!' For that 'Drink Me' vibe – 'mix black and white jars with red and green ones, balance it with vibrant crockery, blooms, and potion-like drinks,' she says, adding, 'Include different types of tea, such as Matcha, and offer puff pastry, dim sums, cupcakes, and pastries. Go with whatever sparks your dopamine.' Add elements inspired by the Queen of Hearts and the Cheshire Cat. Alice is a believer and a dreamer who follows her path and so do I. The whole set up and outfit made me feel like a princess. The shoot was dreamy – Angana Roy, actress
