Thousands of fans lined the streets on July 30 for hometown funeral procession, which also included appearances from his family members—those in the public eye and the ones who've opted to live a more private life.
His rarely-seen daughter, AimeeOsbourne, who never sought out the celebrity lifestyle, joined her famous mother, Sharon Osbourne, and her siblings, Kelly and Jack Osbourne, for the procession walk in the streets of Birmingham.
Family members turned out for the celebration of life, paying their respects to the late Black Sabbath frontman, who died at the age of 76. No cause of death was revealed, though the "Prince of Darkness" dealt with several health issues prior, including a diagnosis of Parkinson's in 2019.
Aimee, 41, donned an all-black outfit, complete with a black beret and veil, and was overcome with emotion as she put down a pink flower in black paper at her father's memorial.
In addition to his children, Ozzy's grandchildren—Jack's daughters Pearl, Andie, Minnie and Maple—were also in attendance, along with Kelly's 2-year-old son, Sidney.
Ozzy's notoriously private son, Louis, 50, from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, was also in attendance. It seems that his daughter, Jessica, 45, and adopted son, Elliot Kingsley, whom he also shares with Riley, opted to skip the event.
As the family grieved, they acknowledged the crowd and raised their hands in peace signs. The former The View host was seen breaking down into tears as she mourned her husband, while Kelly embraced her fiancé, Slipknot's Sid Wilson, and hugged her brother.
The procession was accompanied by Bostin' Brass, a live brass band. Per Hello, it was announced on Tuesday that the family was covering the costs of the public procession, allowing fans to say goodbye to the legend, ahead of the private funeral.🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬

Music legends gather in UK for Ozzy Osbourne's private funeral

Ozzy Osbourne has been laid to rest in Buckinghamshire, England, one week after his death. The Prince of Darkness' family members and loved ones mourned him in a private funeral at his and Sharon Osbourne's sprawling home on Thursday. Zakk Wylde, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Slipknot's Corey Taylor and more rockers attended the somber affair. Ozzy's final resting place is on his property beside a lake, according to the Daily Mail, where a massive floral tribute was erected on the grounds in his honor. Notably, the late musician wrote in 'I Am Ozzy,' his 2009 autobiography, that he did not wish to be cremated. Instead, he clarified, 'I want to be put in the ground in a nice garden somewhere with a tree planted over my head.' Ozzy died on July 22 at age 76 after paramedics reportedly spent hours trying to save him. He is survived by wife Sharon Osbourne, their three kids — Aimee Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne and Jack Osbourne — and children Elliot Kingsley, Jessica Osbourne and Louis Osbourne from his previous marriage to Thelma Riley. The musician shared his wishes for his funeral in a Times column published more than a decade before his death. The singer didn't want any guests to be 'harping on the bad times' at his service, insisting it should be a 'celebration' instead of a 'mope-fest.' He said, 'I'd … like some pranks: maybe the sound of knocking inside the coffin; or a video of me asking my doctor for a second opinion on his diagnosis of 'death.'' The Grammy winner noted, 'I honestly don't care what they play at my funeral; they can put on a medley of Justin Bieber, Susan Boyle and We Are the Diddymen if it makes 'em happy.' Osbourne was honored in his United Kingdom hometown on Wednesday with a public procession down Birmingham's Broad Street. His family members, who followed behind in vehicles and stepped out for an emotional appearance, paid for the homage. 'We are grateful that they have generously offered to pay to enable this to happen and support the city is giving him the farewell he deserves,' the city's lord mayor, Zafar Iqbal, gushed Tuesday. He noted that the 'fitting, dignified tribute' will 'mean [so much] to [Black Sabbath] fans.' The band's surviving members have each honored their late 'brother' with touching social media tributes. Osbourne played a farewell show with Bill Ward, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, and we heard he spent his final days 're-energized' by the performance. 'It filled him with life,' a source told Page Six. 'He'd really been slowing down, and then after the show he was really back to be being himself. It's a beautiful ending.'

A Complete Breakdown Of The 'Downton Abbey' Family Tree Before The Grand Finale

Downton Abbey has a fascinating ensemble of characters that has captivated audiences worldwide since its original debut in 2010. Now, a whopping 15 years later, the series's showrunners have announced a third and final movie, set to be released in theaters (yes, it's a theatrical release!) on September 12th, 2025. But before that date, let's recap on the characters so you're fully prepared for The Grand Finale. Grab your tiaras, teas, and elbow-length gloves, because we're about to head back to high society England. Elbows down, pinkies up, folks! Here's a full breakdown of the Crawley family tree for Downton Abbey fans. Violet Crawley — Family Matriarch Violet Crawley, played brilliantly by the late Dame Maggie Smith, is the matriarch of the Crawley family and plays a significant role in determining the future heir to the family's estate. Following the tragic death of her son and intended heir, Violet must decide on a new leader for the family. Which leads us to… Robert Crawley — Family Patriarch Violet's living son, Robert Crawley, is the patriarch of the family and Earl of Grantham. He is a serious and loyal traditionalist who will do just about anything to keep the family afloat. In fact, he's so dedicated to Downton Abbey that it consumes his entire existence. 'I was born here, and I hope to die here,' Robert announces in the series. 'I claim no career but the nurture of this house and the estate. It is my third parent and my fourth child.' Now that's some serious commitment! Cora Levinson — Robert Crawley's Wife Cora Levinson is Robert Crawley's American heiress wife, whom he initially married for financial reasons. Yet as the series progresses, Robert has fallen madly in love with Cora, who becomes a central figure on the show. She is also the mother of three daughters and refuses to let anything stand in the way of their safety and well-being. Cora serves as a warm contrast to her husband's more cold, British demeanor. Patrick 'Crawley' — Alleged Crawley Family Heir The Crawley family lost two central members in season 1: Patrick and James. James, Robert's first cousin, was initially set to be the family heir, yet he passed away due to tragic circumstances. Meanwhile, Patrick was killed while aboard the Titanic sinking in 1912, yet a man shows up to their manor claiming he's really Patrick Crawley and has been alive this whole time, trying to find them. This turns out to be a sham, much to the family's dismay. Matthew Crawley — The Crawley Family Heir So the true heir of Downton is Matthew, a distant cousin who ends up falling madly in love with Mary. Unfortunately Matthew passes away in a car accident, once again leaving Downton's future up in the air. Lady Mary — Proud Eldest Daughter Robert and Cora's daughter, Mary, plays a major role in the upcoming Downton Abbey movie — and in the whole series. The eldest Crawley daughter is 'the future of Downton Abbey' as per the film's trailer. Go Mary! Is she up for the task? Mary married Matthew before his untimely accident, then remarried to Henry Talbot. The pair has since divorced. Lady Edith — The second daughter Robert and Cora's second daughter, Edith, always felt overshadowed by Mary. After falling in love with her boss Micheal Gregson (who disappeared shortly after), Edith became pregnant with his child. She married Bertie in 1925. Lady Sybil — The rebel Sybil was Robert and Cora's youngest daughter. She became politically involved as a young woman, and ended up marrying Tom Branson (who was the family's chauffeur) but passed away from eclampsia after giving birth to their daughter Sybbie. Tom Branson — Unexpected Family Pillar Robert was decidedly not thrilled when Sybil and Tom announced their engagement, but Tom really became an irreplaceable member of the Crawley family. He always pursues what's right (and helps mediate arguments between Mary and Edith). Isobel Grey — A Friendly Face Matthew's mother Isobel is a bright spot in the Downton Abbey cast, even though she isn't officially a Crawley. She was also quite the match for Violet's wit! Rosamund Painswick — The Fun Aunt Every family needs a cool and chic aunt, and Robert's sister Rosamund is the Crawleys'! George, Sybbie, Marigold, Peter & Caroline — The Future of Downton Abbey The next generation of the Crawley family (Mary's children George and Caroline, Sybil's daughter Sybbie, and Edith's children Peter and Marigold) have quite the inheritance, which they're expected to inherit when they come of age in the 1940s.
