How many UK driving theory test questions can YOU answer?
Self-proclaimed 'TikTok quizmaster' Mahan Lankarani often creates brainteasers and quiz videos and recently challenged people to see if they could pass a UK citizenship test.
He tested his 1.6 million followers on their driving knowledge in another video inspired by real questions asked on a UK theory exam.
According to government guidance, people taking the test must get 43 out of 50 multiple choice questions right and at least 44 out of 75 in the hazard perception section to pass the test.
Some of the mock questions in Lankarani's video included 'What is the maximum speed limit for a car on a UK motorway' and 'What shape are most warning signs on UK roads?'
However, several TikTok viewers confessed they struggled to answer the questions despite holding a full driving licence - with some of them getting zero correct.
One wrote: 'Been driving 21 years and passed first time. If I took the test today, I'd fail miserably, facts.'
Another said: 'I've been driving 13 years, passed first time and I still failed them all.'
A third wrote: 'I just did it last week first try, failed this one.'
A fourth commented 'I got all of the wrong, I need to take my test again,' while another chimed in and admitted: 'Embarrassed to admit how many I got wrong.'
One comment read 'That's it, I've failed,' while another person said: 'I thought you could do 77 if overtaking on the motorway.'
It comes after research conducted by motoring research charity RAC Foundation found that more than 50,000 driving tests a year are taken by learners who have already failed at least five times.
A theory test costs £23 for cars, whereas, a practical driving tests cost between £62 and £75, depending on when they are taken.
If taken in the evenings, weekends and bank holidays, a car driving test will set you back £75, but if taken on weekdays, it will cost £62 per exam.
The first step for anyone is to apply for a provisional UK driving licence - which will set you back £34.

The total bill for repeated failures could see you cash out thousands of pounds when you also take into account the rocketing cost of the lessons.
In April, learners trying to book their driving test faced online queues of more than 15,000 people this morning - joking it was 'easier getting Oasis tickets'.
Those with a provisional licence are facing six-month waiting lists in order to secure one driving test - if they are successful in bagging a slot at all.
Beginner motorists woke up at the crack of dawn this morning to sit in an online queue on the official government website at 6am - only to discover that within less than a minute they were nearly 16,000th in the queue.
One furious parent on X, formerly Twitter, joked that it was easier bagging Oasis tickets than a driving test.
'Trying to book a driving test for my son, 6am in the queue, 12,500 ahead of me, wait 40 mins to book, re-directed and then told there's a system error,' they said.
'Was easier getting @oasis tickets!'
Another fumed: 'On the driving test site at dead on 6am and there are 14k people in front of me. Happy friggin Monday.'

A third added: 'Managed to book my driving test - can't believe I have to wait until mid September though, ridiculous.'
A fourth said: '15,685 people online at 6am trying to get a driving test booked. Something has got to be done about this surely!'
The official government website states it is faster to book tests online than booking by phone due to the lines being very busy at the moment.
It adds that the booking service is open from 6am until 11.40pm. But many claimed today that at 6am on the dot they were hit with impossibly long queues of many thousands.

'I went to the British GP at Silverstone and cost of car park left me floored'
A woman who attended the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on Sunday (July 6) has taken to social media to hit out at one costly aspect of the Formula 1 event A Formula 1 fan expressed her frustration at one aspect of Sunday's British Grand Prix at Silverstone. British McLaren driver, Landon Norris emerged victorious on a rain-soaked afternoon in Northamptonshire, with teammate Oscar Pistori and Nico Hulkenberg also securing podium finishes. Amid the celebrations at the event - which cost between £70 and £329 for a single-day admission - TikTok user @f1girlGB was left having to fork out another small fortune, simply to park her own car. Sharing a video from the site's public car park, a sign stated that payments should be made prior to leaving, outlines costs for stays on each day from Thursday to Sunday. Despite the race taking place on Sunday, fans are invited to attend from Thursday to meet team members, visit the track's museum as well as take part in several more race-related events. Friday sees more action including drivers' practices, before Saturday's qualifying ahead of the main event on Sunday. To be there on all four days appears to cost an arm and a leg – as the TikTok user's video also laid out the costs detailed on the sign. These were: Thursday parking £80; Friday parking £80; Saturday parking £130; and Sunday parking £130. The video of the sign has been viewed a staggering 900,000 times, despite the fan's modest following of just 314. Thousands of those who viewed it vented their ill feelings too. "There's me thinking I couldn't afford the actual tickets when actually I couldn't even afford the parking!", one person quipped in response. A second fumed: "Exactly why I won't go to Silverstone F1, but will go abroad to watch F1." A third added: "Silverstone is now just a rip off. I don't know how people can afford it, when they have no money to pay bills etc." A fourth TikTok user slammed: "That's actually insane and totally unjustified. Things just die on the vine in this country because of price gouging and corporate greed. In a few years they'll be complaining that the crowds aren't as big any more and they'll wonder why." Whilst a fifth pondered: "Must put a lot of people off, but they still seem to have lots of cars there, so people must be willing to pay those extortionate prices, fair enough. Guess I'll never go to Silverstone." Detailing a slightly more cost-effective alternative, meanwhile, another individual pointed out: "If you book online in advance its £50 a day or £150 for the full weekend." Whilst someone else claimed: "Local schools charged £50 for the weekend, which was about a 30 minute walk and much quicker than queuing out of the car park."

How so? The Select modular system – to give the thing its official name – combines electric motors, converters, inverters, transmission and the software package needed to optimise electron-fuelled propulsion, though the company says all the components are interchangeable. Advertisement - Page continues below The not-so-secret sauce is a magnet-free motor (I2SM, for the nerds), which ditches the permanent magnets in favour of a slimmer, lighter setup that saves five kilos and fits into tighter spaces. According to ZF, it chucks out up to 300kW (402bhp in old money), and generates a silly 4,057lb ft of torque. And it's slicing energy losses by more than 25 per cent at motorway speeds. Using something it calls 'TherMaS' - a compact, propane-based heat pump refrigeration circuit, rather than a pricey Scandinavian spa treatment – the German engineers have been able to extend range through heat management efficiency. You might like The results? At a nippy -7°C, you get 15 per cent more range compared to current systems. At a nose-freezing -25°C, you're looking at up to 30 per cent more – which sounds pretty game-changing if you're based in the Arctic Circle. The multi-tasking design uses the inspirational 'X-in-1' (akin to your favourite shampoo) but by utilising power supply and battery for different things, there are fewer components contributing to those lightweighting gains. New innovations to the gearing, inverter and converter which among other attributes enable bi-directional charging, too.
