'Nationally renowned' car boot sale returning to Norfolk estate

A car boot sale that attracts thousands of people looking to find items "money cannot usually buy" is back for its ninth year.
The Stately Car Boot Sale which raises money for the Norfolk Churches Trust is to return to Sennowe Park, near Fakenham, in May.
The trust is predicting that this year's event will top 2022's record of 10,000 visitors and more than 200 pitches.
Visitors can purchase a variety of antiques from a range of pitches, including those from Norfolk stately homes (Image: Norfolk Churches Trust)Antiques, paintings and historical items from stately homes across Norfolk will be among the items on offer.
Previous years saw a buyer purchase a John Galliano wedding dress, the same designer who made Kate Moss' wedding gown.
Norfolk Churches Trust chair, Rosabelle Batt, said: 'We are thrilled to be back at Sennowe for another wonderful Stately Car Boot Sale.
"It's a great event with so many unique items for sale and an atmosphere that is really special.

"To add to that, it has grown into a renowned event nationally as well as an impressive fundraiser to properly help us support church repairs.
"We hope to top the £83,000 raised at the last sale."
Food and drink vendors will be on-site offering refreshments to bargain hunters.
Applications for a pitch for the sale on May 4 can be made through the Stately Car Boot Sale event page on the Norfolk Churches Trust website.
Norfolk Churches Trust was established in 1976 and raises money to help protect churches and chapels across the county.
