Is Dhanashree Verma closing the door on love after divorce from Yuzvendra Chahal? 5 BIG revelations made by her

Pink Villa2 days ago

Dhanashree Verma's personal life made the headlines after she and Yuzvendra Chahal announced their divorce. Recently, the dancer opened up on how she copes with misleading narratives and the constant scrutiny she faced in the tough times. Further, Verma also explained whether she is open to giving love a second chance, months after her separation from Yuzvendra. So, here are some major revelations that Dhanashree made about her life.
1. Talking to Etimes, Dhanashree Verma got candid about how she dealt with narratives that didn't reflect the truth about her personal life crisis. "None of it reflects who I am, and I don't engage with it because I know my values, my upbringing, and the kind of person I am", she said.
2. Revealing the values that have always kept her moving in life, the former Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 contestant mentioned self-growth, self-love, and discipline. Dhanashree said that her belief lies in maintaining grace and dignity. The choreographer stressed how she believes that focusing on negativity hampers growth, and the same energy can be invested in making every day better.
3. She further added that dance has been her anchor as she coped with personal challenges. Crediting her work for helping her feel peaceful and positive, the choreographer remarked, "There's hardly any time to sit still and I wouldn't want it any other way." The social media personality added that she has so much on her plate, whether creating music, working on songs or spending quality moments with her family.
4. In the same interview, Dhanashree reacted to whether she is open to giving love a second chance. She expressed that such aspects cannot be planned. "You can't decide whether you'll fall in love today or a year from now. Love is an entirely different entity," added Verma. The choreographer asserted that keeping her career in focus matters most to her.
5. Calling herself a 'deeply spiritual person', Dhanashree told Etimes that the reason behind her being grounded is her faith in God and the universe. According to her, a person's success, values, and truth eventually matter.
For the unversed, rumors about Dhanashree and Yuzvendra 's divorce surfaced after the couple unfollowed each other on social media. The two got hitched in December 2020 in an intimate ceremony in Gurugram, but in March 2025, they were officially granted a divorce.

Surveen Chawla shares her experience working with Pankaj Tripathi in Criminal Justice: A Family Matter: 'He is a walking, talking school of cinema' -Exclusive

Surveen Chawla shared insights about 'Criminal Justice: A Family Matter'. She plays Anju Nagpal, the emotional core of the show. Surveen was drawn to the depth of her character. She praised the cast, including Pankaj Tripathi, for their talent and collaboration. The set had a fun atmosphere despite the show's serious tone. She also appreciated director Rohan Sippy's calm direction. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Surveen Chawla talked about her role in Criminal Justice: A Family Matter, the show's gripping family drama, and her experience working with Pankaj Tripathi . She shared what attracted her to the character and gives a glimpse of the fun and energy behind the intense courtroom scenes. Excerpts... Criminal Justice: A Family Matter has been receiving positive reviews. Tell us something about it. I think it lives up to the legacy of the franchise built over the last three seasons. This time, it's a bit different because it's a family matter in the literal sense. Everyone is involved as a family unit. The story revolves around an estranged wife, a doctor husband, and a girlfriend—who, of course, ends up murdered. It's a great watch that will keep you on the edge of your seat and guessing. I know many viewers are upset about not being able to binge-watch the show, but that's the model the platform has chosen for this series, and it's doing great numbers. How did you prepare for this role, and what drew you to this complex character? For me, Anju Nagpal—my character—is the emotional core, the epicenter of the show. She's calm and composed, even in the middle of a storm, but she keeps everything suppressed inside. What drew me to the role was all this depth and more, which I can't reveal right now. Beyond the character, the entire team was a huge draw—with fantastic actors like Pankaj ji, Zeeshan, Shweta, Meeta ji, Barkha, and even Ira, who plays my daughter. Everyone was amazing. The cast and the director really matter to me. I'd wanted to work with Rohan for a long time, and when I finally got the chance, I knew I had to take it. Sometimes a project looks great on paper, but without a strong, capable team to support it, execution can suffer. For me, that's a key factor in deciding to do a project. This one had all the right ingredients to make a great 'dish,' and that's exactly what it turned out to be. Working alongside Pankaj Tripathi and other talented actors must be enriching. Can you share an experience from the set that stood out to you? I can't really single out one experience because every scene we did together was special. There's a quiet chemistry between Zeeshan and me, even though it's from the past—the history is there, and you can see the lingering effect. Pankaj ji, to me, is a walking, talking school of cinema. What more can I say? We're all huge fans of his, and working with him was incredible. Sharing the screen with him brings so much energy to the scene. The collaboration on set is constant but very subtle—not in-your-face. He comes to work without the weight of his reputation, which is an amazing quality. His simplicity and no-nonsense approach are truly inspiring. Overall, it was wonderful working with every member of the cast. Even though some of us didn't share many scenes, the days we did shoot together were great. With Rohan's calm and composure directing us, every courtroom scene felt almost like a party—we'd be binging on food and snacks. So, while the show looks very serious on screen, behind the camera, it was all fun and laughter. Check out our list of the latest Hindi , English , Tamil , Telugu , Malayalam , and Kannada movies . Shreyas Talpade calls Akshay Kumar his 'elder brother' and fitness guide; praises Nana Patekar's Marathi flair in ‘Housefull 5': ‘It's going to be a treat'

Brace yourselves for a full-blown comedy hurricane, because the 'Housefull' gang is back and this time, they're bringing in even more madness, mayhem, and laughter! With 15 years of non-stop chaos behind it, the iconic franchise is now heading for its fifth instalment – 'Housefull 5', releasing on 6 June, and promises to be the biggest, craziest one yet. In an exclusive chat with Etimes, Shreyas Talpade spilled the tea on everything from surviving rough seas during the shoot to being pampered by 'Akki bhai' ( Akshay Kumar ), and of course, what it's like to be back with the maddest bunch in Bollywood. From double endings to slapstick drama, Talpade gives insight into why this cruise comedy is ready to dock straight into box office gold. Back in the 'House': Shreyas on returning to the comedy carnival It's been over a decade since Shreyas last brought the laughs in 'Housefull 2', and now, he's stepping back into the loony universe of 'Housefull 5'. Talking about how it feels to be back in the madhouse? He replies, ''Housefull' feels like a family and I'm extremely happy to be a part of this complete mad universe. Getting back with all of them was great and extremely crazy at the same time.' Talking about not being a part of 'Housefull 3' and '4'he simply said, 'I'm sure there was nothing much to offer to me. But this time, the whole concept was completely different. The climax, as everybody knows, is completely different. There are 19-20 actors coming together to create a world which I'm sure people will enjoy watching.' Sajid Khan vs Tarun Mansukhani: Directors with distinct flavours of comedy Comparing the styles of the two directors who have helmed 'Housefull' films, Shreyas notes a fascinating contrast. Talpade explains, 'Sajid's school of filmmaking, what I've experienced, is completely over the top. He'll also make you ham at certain places, but he does it with so much conviction that you believe what he's saying. While Tarun is a little calmer than Sajid is but he gets into the slapstick zone with utmost conviction. ' Shreyas added that working with such varied directors pushes him as an actor. 'Their thoughts are different, their ideas are different, their conviction is different. As an actor, it challenges you to give it your best as per their school of filmmaking. The way the whole franchise has embraced these different styles is awesome.' 'Kapkapiii' to 'Housefull 5': Why back-to-back comedies? After delivering a punchy performance in the horror-comedy 'Kapkapiii' along with Tusshar Kapoor , Shreyas now again jumps straight into the madness of 'Housefull 5'. He says, 'As actors, we live for these challenges, one is a mystery comedy, and one is a horror comedy. Both have an element of slapstick in them. But I think that's what makes it interesting.' He credits the directors and writers for crafting unique characters that allow him to explore different comedic styles. Despite 'Kapkapiii' being delayed due to the passing of director Sangeeth Sivan. 'I'm grateful that I've had back-to-back releases. 'Kapkapiii' was really well received, and now I'm looking forward to 'Housefull 5', which is a whole new experience. As an actor, I feel truly lucky to get the chance to play such varied and interesting characters in every film. ' Shreyas recalls a storm while shooting on the cruise The cast of 'Housefull 5' reads like a who's who of Bollywood, featuring Abhishek Bachchan , Sanjay Dutt , Jacqueline Fernandez , Sonam Bajwa , and many more. The shoot took place on a cruise for 40 days, turning work into a non-stop party. But it wasn't all smooth sailing. Shreyas recalls a terrifying moment when the ship was caught in a storm, 'One of the most unforgettable incidents happened on the cruise itself. We were caught in the middle of a storm and the entire cruise ship kept moving up and down, sideways. All of us kept smiling and laughing, but inside we were really, really scared.' He said they were reminded of the safety drills from day one. 'It was one experience in life which ideally no one should really have… but now that we've gone through it, we know what happens in the middle of the ocean.' Still, he hopes that kind of storm hits the box office too – 'where people go crazy about the film and book as many tickets as many times as possible!' 'Akki bhai was the elder brother who took great care of me' Fans will be thrilled to see Shreyas reunited with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. The trio's chemistry is as solid as ever. Talpade shares, 'Working with both of them is not only fun, but they just keep you on your toes all the while – either with some pranks or some games. With Akki bhai, you can expect a lot of fun. Akki bhai was the elder brother who took great, great care of me. He was the one who assured my wife that, 'Don't worry, Shreyas is going to be fine on the cruise. ' He set a workout pattern for me. He set a diet regime. When he's around, you know you're going to be looked after – and I really want to thank him for everything he's done.' From 'Housefull' to 'Jungle': Double dose of comedy franchises Next up, Shreyas will be seen in 'Welcome to the Jungle', reuniting with Akshay once again. It's the third film in the hit 'Welcome' series and the actor is thrilled to be on board. 'That cast again is pretty huge, with so many actors and so many of them with great comic timing. So the kind of fun that we're having on the sets of 'Welcome to the Jungle' is pretty much equal to what we had on 'Housefull'. I feel blessed to be part of these popular franchises and to play an important part in all of them.' More Marathi masala with Nana Patekar's show-stealing acting If there's one thing fans are buzzing about, it's Nana Patekar's hilariously high-energy performance, especially his viral 'Phoogdi dance'. 'Yes, people have given us immense love. Especially when we get the Marathi angle in Hindi films, they love it even more,' said Shreyas. 'But this time, more than me and Riteish, it is Nana sir who's stealing the show… not only with his Fugdi dance, but his complete character.' Patekar plays a character called Dagdu Sir, complete with dhoti , kurta, and fierce energy. 'It is going to be a treat and a delight for all fans of Marathi cinema.' Talking about the dual ending murder mystery A murder mystery in a slapstick comedy? That's the twist 'Housefull 5' is promising – and even the cast was kept in the dark! 'The mystery was there while we were shooting! I think that was the best part – how we went about shooting this,' Shreyas said. 'When actors don't know who the killer is, their performance definitely changes.' Adding to the fun is a dual-ending twist, brainchild of Sajid Nadiadwala himself. 'When I heard it for the first time, I was quite blown away! And I'm sure people are looking forward to that.' Shreyas concluded with a heartfelt hope, 'I just hope people go out there in theatres in big numbers. The advance booking is looking great. So we really want to thank them for that. And I just hope they enjoy the film to the fullest. That is the only thing that will make us happy.' Melanie Nazareth Talks About ‘Everyday Fun' On Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri Sets

Last Updated: Melanie Nazareth, who plays Usha in Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri, believes that the off-screen bond with co-actors is directly reflected in their performances. Shooting floors are more than just roll, camera, and action. In television, where long shooting schedules keep actors together for extended hours, a natural camaraderie often develops. This bond not only enhances on-screen chemistry but also deepens personal connections. The set of the popular television show Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri is no exception. Recently, Melanie Nazareth, who plays Usha in the show, shared insights about her off-screen connection with her fellow cast members. In an interview with ETimes, she said, 'Off-screen, we've built a really amazing bond, honestly, we didn't expect it ourselves! But yes, all of us have put in the effort. A bond doesn't form just between one or two people; it's something everyone contributes to." She further explained how, contrary to the intense fights shown on screen, the cast shares a warm and supportive bond in real life. 'Just like we fight a lot on screen and have intense scenes, off-screen, we have real unity and a lot of patience with each other. We tolerate and support one another a lot," Melanie added. The 'Crazy Roasters" WhatsApp Group Melanie revealed that the cast of Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri has a WhatsApp group named 'Crazy Roasters," which keeps the fun going beyond work hours. Sharing the reason behind the quirky name of the group, Melanie explained, 'We even made a WhatsApp group called 'Crazy Roasters' because we're always roasting and pulling each other's legs." Fun Activities on Set And if you think their bond was limited to just the WhatsApp group, then you're mistaken. The camaraderie of the cast extends into daily fun routines on set as well. Melanie mentioned that they would often plan something as simple as ordering pani puri on the sets in the evening or just deciding what special dish they would want to try on a particular day. 'Even though most of us are health freaks and on a diet, we still do these fun things," Melanie said. Impact of Real-Life Bond on Performance Melanie believes that this off-screen chemistry directly reflects in their performances. She explained, 'As for our on-screen chemistry, you can see it for yourself, every single person is working really hard on their character. Everyone has completely gotten into the skin of their role. Now, we don't even need to try too hard; as soon as the director says 'action,' the character comes alive in us naturally. So yes, our chemistry, both on-screen and off-screen, is truly amazing."
