'Gentleman' Giorgio Russo leaves Love Island fans BEMUSED after returning from Casa Amor single, with some questioning whether he's ever watched the show before
Thursday evening saw another jampacked episode of the popular ITV reality show hit our screens, with Maya Jama making a glamorous return for a recoupling.
After the boys spent a couple of nights exploring connections in Casa Amor, it was time for them to decide whether they would return to their girls single or with a new flame.
And, while the likes of Dejon Noel-Williams and Harrison Solomon made somewhat expected decisions, viewers couldn't believe Giorgio returned to the villa alone.
The account manager, who lives in Australia away from the show, had been in a couple with fellow bombshell Billykiss before Casa, where he seemingly found a connection with former The X Factor contestant Yazmin.
They had enjoyed a number of smooches and even shared a bed together, but Giorgio put a stop to things early on in Thursday's episode.
The 30-year-old told her: 'I don't know what it is but I just feel like there's something missing.
'The easy option would be to carry things on but it's not fair. You're beautiful but I can't force it.'
That meant that later in the show Giorgio returned to the main villa for the recoupling all alone, while Billykiss chose to couple up with Slovenian hunk Boris Vidovic.
Giorgio told Maya on his arrival: 'There wasn't anyone in there who was my type. This whole journey I've been honest and true to myself and I thought bringing a girl back wouldn't be fair.'
But while some supporters branded Giorgio a 'gentleman' for the move, others questioned whether he's actually ever watched the show before.

Elsewhere in the episode, Dejon Noel-Williams and Meg Moore reunited after a tough few days with him in Casa Amor.
Meg was visibly relieved to see his return after gushing about how much she 'missed him' in earlier episodes.
While Harry Crossley and Helena Ford surprisingly also both returned to each other single, despite the semi-professional footballer enjoying a kiss in Casa Amor.
It came after the 30-year-old was left stunned when his ex Emma Munro walked into Casa as a bombshell.
Emma exposed his playboy past which included inviting other women to her house behind her back, causing their relationship to end on bad terms.
She sparked up a connection with rugby player Conor Phillips while in Casa, and returned to the main villa with the hunk on Thursday.

Barnsley gallery showcases art by care home residents
Care home residents displaying their artwork at an exhibition proves "anyone can do anything at any age", their events organiser by Peter Hardy, 76, and paintings by Patricia Wroe, 89, were unveiled at the Experience Barnsley Museum and Discovery Centre in Barnsley Town Hall on and staff from Deansgate Care Home were joined by Barnsley Mayor David Leech and local artist Charlotte events coordinator Rachael Addy said: "It's not the end of the road when you come into a care home, it's about embracing a new chapter in your life." Similarly, Mr Hardy - a stroke survivor - said he thought his photography skills were "average"."I never recognised I'm good, I'm just an average Joe doing photography, that's all."However, Ms Addy contacted Steven Skelley, community heritage curator at Barnsley Museums, to discuss presenting their work to the public and 'show how amazing they are'.Mr Hardy said it "felt really good" to attend the reveal ceremony, and Ms Wroe said it was "nice to be appreciated".Ms Addy said she hoped the exhibition would also help break stereotypes around care homes and those living in them."For example, people will automatically look at Pete, bend down, and go 'Aww, Pete, are you okay, Pete?'"He's not an idiot, he's a very capable, intelligent, intellectual human being that should still be treated in the same manner as everybody else." Three Oxfordshire teens among BAFTA game designer winners
A teenage winner at the 15th BAFTA Young Game Designers awards said it was "amazing to be able to see other people playing your game".Isabelle Taylor and Emily Sun, both 17 and both from Oxford, and Luke Rayfield, 18, from Oxfordshire, were selected from a pool of 52 finalists, winning three out of the event's five judging panel was made up of industry experts representing major British-based games to BBC Radio Oxford, Isabelle and Emily said they had now started working on their own studio. Mr Rayfield also said after their wins, Oxfordshire could turn into a new gaming hub in the winners, aged between 10 and 18, were announced in a digital ceremony hosted by actor, comedian and presenter Inel Ayoub, member of the judging panel, said he had been "genuinely humbled by the level of talent, creativity, and ambition these young creators brought". The competition is part of a year-round programme of public events and classroom workshops encouraging young people to understand how to create and Emily won the The Game Concept Award for Mikka Bouzu, whose game designer protagonist has to journey through three of her unfinished games to rediscover her lost creativity. They described it as being "made for players who struggle with the difficult transition from child to adult, and the burnout that it often brings". Isabelle said it was "just amazing to be able to see other people playing your game"."Normally, when you're testing your game, you get feedback through forms, through written things, but there's no feedback quite as real as seeing somebody's actual reactions as they play," she added they had already tried making a logo and plans for their planned studio, so "hopefully it will be able to go somewhere". TV tonight: a nostalgic romance drama with a cracking soundtrack

Cracking music soundtracks this four-part will they/won't they story, starting with New Order's Bizarre Love Triangle, as teenagers Daniel (Rory Walton-Smith) and Alison (Florence Hunt) first talk sheepishly at a Sheffield house party in 1989. Twenty years later, Daniel (Jim Sturgess) has stayed put and is a music journalist, while Alison (Teresa Palmer) is a successful novelist in Sydney. Both have families, but as they remember the mix tapes they shared and unanswered questions, is a reunion on the cards? Think One Day (incidentally, Sturgess starred in the film version) except grittier. Hollie Richardson 8pm, Channel 4Quarter-final time: the teams must are tasked with creating two dozen savoury sweet desserts before the real challenge: summoning up alien-themed showstoppers with jelly art desserts in just five hours. All under the watchful gaze of higher intelligences Cherish Finden and Benoit Blin. Ali Catterall 8.20pm, PBS America Access to a KGB archive in Ukraine provides the hook for this new two-parter on the 1986 nuclear disaster; the files therein suggest officials were aware of flaws in the power plant's design. Jaws 3, which was shot for 3D seemingly just for the scene where a shark is exploded? Or Jaws: The Revenge, in which a shark with a vendetta chases Michael Caine around the Bahamas? Strictly speaking, only one of these films is good. But in their own way, they are all great. Stuart Heritage Hell Is a City (Val Guest, 1960), 2:20pm, Film4 To be specific, hell is Manchester. This stunning 1960 British noir has plenty going for it, like its tight, hardboiled plot – an inspector is tasked with tracking down a murderer after a jailbreak – and the gruffly unsentimental performances from Stanley Baker and John Crawford. It deserves to be rediscovered and heralded as a classic. However, Hell Is a City was also shot in Manchester – rare for a film – and provides a wonderful snapshot of the city 65 years ago. To describe it as unrecognisable would be an understatement. SH
