Woman strategically keeps track of dating app matches for this one reason: ‘I lowkey need this'
In today's wild digital dating world — sitting back and endlessly swiping will only get you so far. That's why Caitlin Trask, 32, decided to go the extra mile by creating a 'man catalog' to track all the hopeful men she matches with on dating apps — for research. 'Sorry I can't go out tonight, I have 513 men I have to document in my man catalog,' the hopeless romantic is heard saying in a TikTok video she posted, teasing her method. Advertisement Trask is strategic with her dating tactics. Although she lives in Denver, Colorado, she purposely changes her location on the apps to various cities to see which loverboys she will match with. Once she receives that anticipated notification — she goes into her Excel spreadsheet to add her connection's age, height, city they live in, job, religion and political stance. Advertisement While this sounds like a crazy amount of work that some people would roll their eyes at — Trask told People her reasoning for organizing these potential suitors is to see which city has the highest chances of her finding someone she is compatible with. This woman's spreadsheets caught many people's attention online. TikTok/@caitlintrask 'Most guys that I am finding are my usual type, which means they have curly hair, good smiles and interesting prompts in their profile,' she told the outlet. 'Someone who it seems like I could have a fun conversation with is what I'm generally finding.' Advertisement Clearly, she's a data girl because she told People that she enjoys analyzing her findings to uncover patterns in her dating preferences — like the fact that her type in Boston, Massachusetts, are guys over 6 feet 2 inches. 'The ultimate goal is to visit the places where I find there seem to be the most single men that I'm aligned with, and visit there and see if anything comes of it,' Trask said in the interview. Instagram/@caitlintrask Trask's research struck a chord with many people online. Advertisement 'Women in stem collecting data,' joked one commenter. 'I kept a dating/romance diary all of last year and it was SOOOO helpful in being able to go back and know why these men were horrible people lol,' someone chimed in, agreeing with Trask's extra efforts. 'I lowkey need this,' quipped someone else. And of course, there were some naysayers. 'We spend way too much time thinking about men. They can't even be bothered to read our profiles. Enough,' read a comment. 'Major red flag on so many levels btw,' another commenter wrote.

TikTok Launches New Platform to Help Musicians Maximize Their In-App Presence
This story was originally published on Social Media Today. To receive daily news and insights, subscribe to our free daily Social Media Today newsletter. It may not be of much consequence to me or you (unless you can actually carry a tune), but TikTok has announced the launch of a new 'TikTok for Artists' platform for musicians, which will help individuals and bands manage their in-app presence, with enhanced data and insight tools to help them maximize their in-app presence. As explained by TikTok: 'TikTok for Artists provides daily-updated analytics dashboards which display a wealth of detailed, actionable data about the performance of an artist's music and posts on TikTok, and comprehensive insights into how the community is engaging with the artist and their music on the platform. The tool has been designed with the goal of helping artists and their teams boost fan engagement, optimize their promotional strategies and inform content creation on TikTok.' As you can see in this example, TikTok's new artists dashboard provides a range of insights into content performance, community growth, and more. It's also got a promotions element, which includes pre-release campaigns that can be launched from the platform itself. As you can see in this example, through pre-release campaigns, fans will be able to pre-save an album or track directly to their Spotify or Apple Music library, enhancing connection between TikTok and full content. Music has become a critical part of the TikTok experience, which has also impacted music discovery more broadly, with 84% of songs that reached the Billboard 200 list in 2024 gaining traction on TikTok first. U.S. TikTok users are also 74% more likely to discover and share music in the app, and the record industry now relies on TikTok trends to help drive discovery and reach. Indeed, some record labels have even changed the names of songs to better align with TikTok trends, while many trending artists have emerged from TikTok clips. With this in mind, it makes sense for TikTok to enhance this connection where possible, through improved artist collaboration tools than can help them expand their presence in the app. You can learn more about 'TikTok for Artists' here. Brandin Podziemski shares thoughts on Pacers vs. Thunder NBA Finals matchup
Brandin Podziemski shares thoughts on Pacers vs. Thunder NBA Finals matchup 'I'm glad it was the Pacers, not the Knicks... if it was the Knicks, it would have been a sweep." Brandin Podziemski on the NBA Finals 👀@heykayadams | @brandinpodziem2 — Up & Adams (@UpAndAdamsShow) June 3, 2025 The 2025 edition of the NBA Finals is set. The Oklahoma City Thunder will represent the Western Conference against the Eastern Conference's Indiana Pacers. Prior to Game 1, a member of the Golden State Warriors shared his thoughts on the NBA Finals matchup between the Thunder and Pacers. In a recent appearance on Fanduel TV's Up & Adams with Kay Adams, Brandin Podziemski revealed he's excited for the series headlined by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Tyrese Haliburton. Jalen Williams and Pascal Siakam. The Golden State guard broke down his thoughts on the series, including saying he's "glad" it's the Pacers playing the Thunder and not the Knicks. Via @UpAndAdamsShow on Twitter: I'm super excited for it. I'm glad it was the Pacers, not the Knicks because I felt like if it was the Knicks it would have been a sweep just because I don't think the Knicks had enough to compete with OKC, both offensively and defensively. The Pacers on any given night they play, what, ten guys, I think. And there's games where all ten of them score in double figures. So you don't always necessarily know where the points are coming from with Indiana and I think that's what OKC is really good at stopping. You look at the Timberwolves, you know a majority of their points are coming from Randle and Ant, and so they're really good at taking that away and forcing others to beat you, where Indiana's like we have a pass-first point guard — Tyrese, and then a bunch of other guys, Nembhard, Tyrese, Bennedict Mathurin, Nesmith all guys that can get buckets at random times in the game. You saw Nesmith's comeback in New York, just him singlehandedly, and he's a role player. You put TJ McConnell in, he scores his buckets, it can come from anywhere with Indiana. That's the thing that's going to be challenging with OKC, but OKC, you know, they're the best team in the NBA for a reason and they won 68 games not by a mistake. They got the same thing where the points can come from anywhere on any given night. Whether its Shai, J-Dub, Caruso can have 20, Isaiah Joe can have 20, Cason Wallace can have 20. It can come from anywhere. That's what's going to be good about this series. Game 1 between the Pacers and Thunder is set for Thursday at 5:30 p.m. PT at Oklahoma's Paycom Center.
