Sana'a – Saba:
Workshops on the Economic Empowerment Project for Low-Income Families were held on Monday in Sana'a province under the slogan "Towards Empowering Low-Income Families for a Dignified Life."
The workshops, organized by the local authority in the province, were attended by directors of districts, officials of public mobilization in districts , sub-districts, and heads of multipurpose agricultural development cooperative associations in various sectors and sub-districts.
The sessions addressed the criteria for selecting projects, the suitability of interventions with the local environment and climate, the components of the project, implementation mechanisms, and expected outcomes.
During the opening of the workshops, officials from the economic empowerment teams in different sectors—Saddam Al-Faseeh (Southern Sector), Majid Al-Ghaili (Eastern Sector), Anwar Sultan (Northern Sector), and Mohammed Miftah (Western Sector)—reviewed the project's objectives of improving the financial and living conditions of low-income individuals and families. This will be achieved by providing them with the necessary tools, skills, and resources to increase their income, build their productive capacities, and enhance their financial independence.
They explained that the project focuses on sustainable development by creating permanent job opportunities and enabling families to efficiently manage their resources, ultimately leading to self-sufficiency and participation in development. They highlighted its role in reducing dependence on aid and subsidies while supporting the local economy by stimulating small , medium-sized enterprises and increasing capital circulation in the community.

Sana'a - Saba: Since the beginning of Ramadan, the Office of Economy, Industry and Investment in Capital Secretariat has been conducting a field campaign to control prices , commercial and industrial establishments in various districts of the capital. During the first week of Ramadan, 198 commercial violations were seized and nine violations were referred to the Public Prosecution, the director of the office, Majid Al-Sada, told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba). He pointed out that during the past two months, the office destroyed about 200 tons of expired foodstuffs. Al-Sada pointed out that the field teams of the office and its branches in the directorates of the Secretariat will continue the monitoring campaign and go to the markets and commercial establishments and control supply violations during the Holy Month and the Eid al-Fitr holiday. He called on all owners of commercial establishments to abide by the prices and instructions issued by the Internal Trade Sector. Ibb: Inauguration of rehabilitation of Kabar water project with a solar energy system

Ibb - Saba: The branch of the General Authority for Rural Water Projects in Ibb Province inaugurated on Saturday the start of work to rehabilitate Kabar water project in Al-Sada district. The project includes the installation of a 17-panel solar energy system provided by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the rest of the components of the system funded by philanthropists. During the inauguration, the director of the Rural Water Authority branch in the province, Majid Al-Shami, explained that the rehabilitation of water projects and strengthening them to provide clean water to the beneficiaries, and their rehabilitation with solar energy systems, comes in response to the existing needs according to the Authority's interim strategic plan for the years 1444-1447 AH, based on the directives of the Revolution Leader and in implementation of the directives of the political leadership. In addition, the director of the Rural Water Authority's branch in Al-Sada district inaugurated the second phase of Al-A'amas water project. The first phase of the project included the installation of two solar energy systems worth $110,000, funded by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). The second phase includes the implementation of a 100-cube water distribution tank and connecting a network to the remaining areas in the same area, funded by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), for a total amount of $65,000. During the inauguration and visit, Al-Shami, along with the deputy director general of the branch, Engineer Abdullah Al-Qadiri, and Engineer Abdulbasit Al-Shami who inspected the water project in the village of Al-Masqa and neighboring shops. They listened to an explanation from the project official about the need to rehabilitate and expand the network, complete the connection to the needy areas, and provide a solar energy system.
