Infinix has launched a new budget 5G smartphone in India — the Hot 60 5G Plus. At just Rs 10,499, the phone brings some surprising features you'd usually expect from more expensive devices. The Infinix Hot 60 5G Plus features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 560 nits of brightness. It is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Users can also add up to 6GB virtual RAM and expand storage up to 2TB using a microSD card.The Hot 60 5G Plus runs Android 15 with Infinix's XOS 15 on top. Infinix promises 2 years of security updates and a lag-free experience for 5 years. There's also an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.One of the highlights of the Infinix Hot 60 5G Plus is its One-Tap AI button that launches Folax, a smart assistant that can handle basic tasks, provide weather updates, control the camera, and even have light conversations. It also allows quick access to apps like YouTube, Maps, and calendar events. Circle to Search lets users search anything on screen just by circling it — a feature usually seen on higher-end phones.For cameras, the Hot 60 5G Plus gets a 50-megapixel main sensor, an additional secondary camera, and an 8-megapixel front shooter with LED flash. Dharmavaram: In a significant step towards modernising agriculture, the Andhra Pradesh government, under the Annadata Rythu Seva Sangham initiative, has provided state-of-the-art agricultural drones to farmers in Dharmavaram with 80% subsidy. The programme, held at Dharmavaram Market Yard, was organized under the directions and support of Health and Family Welfare Minister Satya Kumar Yadav. Minister's constituency in-charge Harish Babu, AD Laxman Naik, and Mandal Agriculture Officer Mustafa participated in the event. Harish Babu stated that this initiative was made possible due to the special interest and guidance of Minister Satya Kumar Yadav. Implemented with the cooperation of the Farm Machinery Bank and financial support from the State Bank of India, the drones were manufactured by Drago Drones Pvt. Ltd. These advanced drones enable farmers to spray pesticides and fertilisers over crops quickly and cost-effectively, saving time, labour, and expenses while improving crop protection. Each drone is priced at Rs 9,80,000, of which the government covers Rs 7,84,000 as a subsidy. Farmers' groups need to contribute only Rs 1,96,000. Harish Babu described this as a technological revolution in rural farming, bringing modern tools within every farmer's reach. Farmers expressed gratitude to Minister Satya Kumar Yadav and the State government for their support. The event was attended by Drago Drones representative Ravi, SBI Field Officer Kishore, Annadata Rythu Seva Sangham members, rural mandal presidents, several BJP leaders and local farmers.

(File) Infosys, India's second-largest IT services company, has announced a partnership with Australian telecom and technology giant Telstra to boost its advanced AI capabilities. As part of the deal, Infosys will buy 75 per cent of Versent Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Telstra, for USD 153 million (around Rs. 1,300 crore). After this, Telstra will keep only 25 per cent of its stake, while Infosys will take full control of Versent's operations. In a stock exchange filing on August 13, 2025, Infosys said, 'The Board has approved the acquisition of 75 per cent shareholding in Versent Group, one of Australia's top digital transformation solutions providers and a wholly owned subsidiary of Telstra Group.' Through this deal, Versent Group's expertise in cloud technology and digital transformation will help Infosys strengthen its AI, cloud, data, and digital consulting services. Infosys said in a press release that the partnership will use its AI platform Infosys Topaz, its cloud service Infosys Cobalt, and the cybersecurity expertise of The Missing Link. The goal is to provide innovative solutions that speed up complete digital transformation for Australian businesses and government organisations. Infosys' previous partnership with Telstra In 2024, Infosys entered a long-term strategic partnership with Telstra to speed up the telecom company's software engineering and IT transformation, while improving customer experience. In 2025, this collaboration was expanded with Telstra International to push technological innovation, strengthen leadership in the tech sector, and support Telstra's 'Connected Future 30' strategy. Infosys Q1 Results In the first quarter, Infosys posted an 8.7 per cent rise in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs. 6,921 crore, compared to Rs. 6,368 crore in the same quarter last year. However, compared to the previous quarter, profit dropped by 1.5 per cent, while revenue increased by 3.3 per cent. Revenue from operations grew 7.53 per cent year-on-year to Rs. 42,279 crore, up from Rs. 39,315 crore in Q1 last year.
