Taking to social media, the young mum revealed she first got pregnant at the age of 16, and another at 18, but was still able to graduate from school.
Now, almost a decade on, her family has more than doubled in size with nine children, including a set of twins.
But the mum was struggling to get herself a car to suit the family's needs and asked strangers online to help out.
In a TikTok clip sitting in her 2004 Ford Expedition, Whittney said: "This is day 12 of using whatever I make on social media to get me and my nine kids a bigger vehicle.

"I do not want any donations. All I ask is for you to watch my video for one minute, like, comment at least nine words, and share my video."
The mum said she had already been able to earn £1,000 from the creator fund as strangers engage with her videos.
But she needed another £4,000 to reach her goal.
Creators on TikTok, like Emily, can make money through TikTok's creator fund.

TikTok bosses say: "The funds that each creator can earn are worked out by a combination of factors - including the number of views and the authenticity of those views, the level of engagement on the content, as well as making sure content is in line with our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
No two creators or videos are the same, and there is no limit to the different kinds of content we will support with the fund.
I was a teen mum - staff wouldn't let me get my kid's ears pierced, it's insane
"The Creator Fund total varies daily and is dependent on the amount of videos published by our community that day - so this will fluctuate based on the amount of content being published."
Fortunately for the mum, she was getting a lot of support from other TikTok users who were eager to help out.

Whittney added: "I cannot believe how supportive everyone has been these last couple of days and I still cannot tell y'all how much I appreciate everybody.
"I cannot believe how many are coming through for us and I will never be able to tell you how grateful I am."
The video soon went viral on her TikTok account @whittneydawn_ with over 2.5 million views and 512k likes.
Plenty of people took to the comments to engage with the video and hoped the mum achieved her goal.

But fans are only just realizing that the now 42-year-old has not only acted with Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway, but he is also Sofia Coppola's nephew. While his family connection to the famous filmmaking family is no secret, many fans were shocked to learn about his prestigious background via his teen cousin Romy Mars on TikTok. Romy, the 18-year-old daughter of Sofia and musician Thomas Mars, is no stranger to dropping family lore on social media - but the teen recently sent her followers into a frenzy after revealing the actor and singer is her cousin. 'Me when I remember one of my cousins is the dude from Princess Diaries,' she wrote on the short clip, showing herself and Robert dancing to her soon-to-be released single, Ego. The video sparked an immediate response from incredulous users, with hundreds rushing to the comments. 'I really forget how many Coppolas there are,' one user wrote. 'Is your WHOLE family tree famous?' questioned another, with someone else adding: 'Every day I discover something new about the Coppola family.' 'I just went on a two-hour deep dive on this family tree. They are all related to the dude who made Godfather and related to Nicholas Cage and a bunch of other people how???' someone else wrote. Another agreed, sharing: 'They are really the nepo family.' Robert's famous family includes his uncle Francis Ford Coppola, cousin Nicholas Cage, cousin Sofia Coppola and his brother, Jason Schwartzman. Romy, who rose to fame in 2023 after going viral for revealing that her parents grounded her for trying to charter a helicopter, often shares tidbits of her luxurious lifestyle online. At the time, she uploaded a clip to TikTok explaining that she was punished for attempting to use her dad's credit card to fly from New York to Maryland 'to have dinner with my camp friend.' Her mother, 54, is known for directing acclaimed movies like Lost in Translation and Marie Antoinette. And Romy's father, 48, is the lead singer of the indie band Phoenix. She also has a younger sister named Cosima, 15. Tourist branded 'disrespectful' after bashing 'awful' local food at all-inclusive
TikTok star Simon Wilko is a self-professed picky eater, but she received backlash online after she questioned some of the food at her all-inclusive in Cyprus A teenager received backlash online when she slammed the buffet at her all-inclusive hotel. Brit holidayer Simon Wilko was in Cyprus with her mum and boyfriend earlier this month when she shared her lunch online. Simone's lunch included an 'awful' range of vegetables and traditional local foods. After choosing some pork stirfry and BBQ ribs, a plate of chips and pitta bread, Simone said in a TikTok video that there was 'so much to choose from, but at the same time there wasn't'. It comes after a flight attendant urged tourists to always leave a shoe in their hotel room safe. She said: 'I understand that I'm in a different country, but what on earth are these foods?' The video then showed some stuffed courgettes. She added: 'They look absolutely awful, I'm not going to lie. I couldn't think of anything worse.' The 19-year-old also revealed the choice of black eye beans with Swiss chards, and asked 'what on earth is this?'. At another counter, Simone was presented with a four-cheese pizza, also known as "pizza quattro formaggi", which she branded a disappointment because it was not a margherita and it had ' weird cheese'. Simone, who says she is a 'picky eater' then avoided the chicken because it was 'pink' near the bone. She also said she does not like the taste of seasoning. Simone said some of the desserts looked 'delicious' and enjoyed her chocolate crunch cake. She said her coco pops dessert was 'disgusting', however. Irked internet users criticised Simone for her choices and reaction to the foods. 'Try Cornwall babes,' one person said. Another said: ''I'm a very picky eater but this seems disrespectful.' One person also wrote: ''What on earth are these foods' and it's literally just vegetables.' But others leapt to her defence. One person said: 'I'm not a picky eater but that food doesn't look very appetising.' Simone is not the only abroad Brit to spark a debate. A mum‑of‑six faced backlash after she filmed herself reserving sunbeds for her whole family by the pool at dawn while on holiday in Spain, only to leave the hotel for the day. Stephanie, a mum who shares TikTok videos documenting her life with five boys and one girl, recently took a trip to Fuerteventura in Las Palmas, on the Canary Islands. She showed her morning routine: laying towels on sunbeds before enjoying breakfast and popping out to the shops, all before even thinking about returning to the pool. In the video, Stephanie explained that she hadn't yet had her annual leave approved, and suggested that her daughter had been taken out of school during term time. Wading into a contentious issue that can spark arguments even among the most mild‑mannered holidaymakers, she described how she wakes up, reserves the sunbeds, and then heads out. 'We have come as a big family, so we have to be there early,' the mum said. After Stephanie and her family finished their meal, they went shopping before returning to reclaim their reserved sun loungers. While Stephanie and her family enjoyed their day out before some restful time by the pool, the TikTok clip divided viewers.

Woman opens pocket of Vinted jacket and is gobsmacked by item inside
When a woman opened the pockets of the jacket she purchased, she was left gobsmacked to find an item, wondering how the person who sent it hadn't missed it yet The woman couldn't believe what was in the parcel (Stock Image) ( Getty Images/iStockphoto) A woman was left gobsmacked when she opened the pocket of a Vinted jacket and found something shocking inside. Vinted can be a treasure trove for fantastic bargains, with many brand new items for sale with tags, but there are tonnes of things which have been worn too that just need a new home and a new owner to love the item. When Rachel, who posts on TikTok as @rachel_vintagemoonstone, purchased a jacket, she decided to check the pockets of it as it had been worn before – and she discovered her "most bizarre Vinted find ever" and found herself having to contact the seller. "I have just found something in a Vinted parcel that I have never found before, and my mind is slightly blown," Rachel admitted. READ MORE: {{title}} She continued: "I don't quite understand how someone forgets that this particular thing is in this particular item." Rachel held up the "super lovely jacket" which she bought "from Vinted," saying she was trying to get a bit of a winter wardrobe together. But when she checked the pockets just to see whether everything was in order, she got a massive surprise. Rachel explained she was going to put it in the wash, but then "literally found 50 quid" in cash, and held it up to the camera as proof. "My mind was blown," she shared, but continued: "Obviously, I messaged the seller straightaway and said look, in the pocket of this jacket I found £50, which I think belongs to you, so I need to give that back to you. "She messaged me back and was obviously astonished that I'd been honest because she'd been looking for it, and yeah, she got a little bit upset". Rachel transferred the money to the woman, saying she is an "honest person" and wouldn't dream of keeping other people's things, asking her followers whether they would've done the same thing. In the comments, someone wrote: "I received a Christmas card for the previous house owners & I just put it in the mail pile & 6 months later I was having a sort through & was about to rip it up & throw it in the bin but I thought I'd better open it first before I threw it away... it had 100€ in it... "I felt terrible that someone was probably thinking that this was lost forever! I managed to contact the previous owner & she came to collect it... it was from her in-laws who couldn't remember what address they had sent the card to. "She was so happy she bought me a bottle of wine! I'm too honest... my conscience won't allow me to be anything else!" A sceptical woman penned: "Hypothetically speaking, imagine if it was fake money planted in the pockets and she does this to all her Vinted items." Rachel responded: "They were definitely not fakes, thankfully. I spent the money on a Tesco shop today, so now they're in the system. The shop would have 100% told me if they were." She replied: "Phhhhew, sorry if I sounded very sceptical. I've been scammed so many times myself. Thank you for being so honest. There needs to be more people like you in the world."
