Travis Kelce gives intimate look into Taylor Swift romance with never-before-seen photos from offseason ‘adventures'
Travis Kelce has made his romance with Taylor Swift Instagram-official. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, posted sweet snaps of the pair via Instagram Thursday. Kelce first shared a photo of him and Swift wearing matching hats, with his reading 'Captain' and hers saying, 'First mate.' They each also had on similar white lace shirts and casual shorts. Then, in another picture, the power couple matched again in black shirts while out to dinner. The NFL star made a playful finger gun gesture with his hands, while the pop superstar cheekily looked up while holding onto her glasses. Kelce also shared a rare image of him and Swift, also 35, on vacation with pals Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson, and their respective partners. Page Six exclusively reported in March that the three couples had been on a secret getaway to Montana. The group stepped out for a meal at the Auric Room, a supper club and speakeasy, at Lone Mountain Ranch, an insider told Page Six at the time. 'Erin is close friends with Taylor and Travis, and Travis even jokingly credits Erin with encouraging Taylor to date him,' we were told. 'They're all good friends.' The Super Bowl champ rounded out the winter trip shots with a pics of him and his girlfriend ice skating. Swift made playful faces in those images and appeared to be having a blast. Kelce also shared a picture of him and the 'You Belong With Me' singer on vacation with their best friends Ross Travis and Ashley Avignone at an undisclosed location. However, it appears to have been recent since they were all in summer looks and at a candlelit beach. Kelce also included in his roundup photos of him doing karaoke and hiking with his brother, Jason Kelce, and spending quality time with his parents, Donna Kelce and Ed Kelce. The intimate glimpse into his personal life comes just as he prepares to head into the next NFL season. 'Had some adventures this offseason, kept it ,' Travis captioned the post. Earlier this week, the pro athlete and his Chiefs teammates returned to training camp, which forced Travis to miss the New York City premiere of his latest film, 'Happy Gilmore 2.' However, the football player has been open about wanting to get his head in the game for the new season following a disappointing loss against the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl 2025. In February, he announced that he was not retiring just yet and said, 'I'm coming back, for sure. 'Gonna try and get to the best shape I've been this offseason and get back to the mountaintop. Got a real bad taste in my mouth with how I played in that last game and how I got the guys ready for battle. I can't go out like that!!!!' A source exclusively told Page Six in March that Swift was supportive of Travis returning to the NFL. 'She didn't want Travis to retire,' an insider told us. 'She wanted him to go out on a high note.' We were also told the Grammy winner will 'of course' be back in the stands cheering on her man for the 2025-2026 NFL season, as she always has been and plans to make it to as many games as possible. ‘Month of Hell' on I-5 is just the appetizer — next two years will be brutal
This story was originally posted to We're almost through the 'Month of Hell' on I-5 through Seattle, but commuters need to realize that this was just the appetizer. The main course will be served over the next two years. For every one of you who struggled through the lane closures on the Ship Canal Bridge and fought your way through the loss of the southbound express lanes, please pat yourselves on the back. You deserve it. This has not been easy. But this was just a practice run. This was only one month. There will be two, four-month extended lane closures on the northbound Ship Canal Bridge in 2026. 'We'll work for about four months, and then we will pause and pick everything up when the World Cup comes to town,' Tom Pearce, spokesperson for the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT), said. 'Once the World Cup ends, we'll have another weekend-long closure, reset the work zone, and then we'll start to work on the right lanes of the northbound Ship Canal Bridge.' That's two, four 'months of Hell' to deal with. More lane closures on the menu That will be followed in 2027 with up to nine months of lane closures across the Ship Canal Bridge in the southbound direction. The state will be looking closely at how the current month went and see what engineers can learn for the upcoming closures. 'We have used the past month as kind of a practice run, give us some ideas on how people are going to react and drive,' Pearce said. 'We will be analyzing that information, and that will help us formulate any plans that we have for '26 and '27.' There will also be several weekends of southbound I-5 lane closures coming up this fall. Those have not been scheduled. But before we get to that, WSDOT has to wrap up this current work. All lanes of northbound I-5 will be closed across the Ship Canal Bridge late Friday night through 5 a.m. Monday morning. 'That will allow us to pick up the concrete barrier on the Ship Canal Bridge, restripe the bridge, and have all lanes open by 5 a.m. Monday,' Pearce explained. If you're heading to the Seahawks game, northbound I-5 won't close until just before midnight, though ramp closures will start earlier. The express lanes will remain in the northbound direction. WSDOT's work on I-5 so far So what did WSDOT get done during the last month? 'We have replaced more than 100 drains on the bridge, and we have replaced the left half of five expansion joints,' Pearce said. 'We've accomplished all the stuff that we wanted to get done this time.' As for how commuters fared during this event? 'We know that it was difficult for travelers, particularly southbound in the morning on I-5, but people did well at adapting and using other transportation methods, adjusting their schedule, so it went relatively well,' Pearce said. Daily drivers might dispute that. My unscientific analysis suggests the morning commute out of Snohomish County averaged about 30 minutes longer than normal. It's fair to say that we will see similar issues over the next two years. Chris Sullivan is a traffic reporter for KIRO Newsradio. Read more of his stories here. Follow KIRO Newsradio traffic on X.
