Brooklyn Beckham's ex reveals David Beckham and Victoria's real personalities amid feud with daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz
Before marrying actor Nicola Peltz in 2022, Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, was dating Summer House star Lexi Wood. On the Viall Files podcast, the model opened up about her relationships with her exes and their famous parents, including Brooklyn and Presley Gerber, and shared what it was like to mingle with their families. This comes amid reports of tension within the Beckham clan, with claims that their daughter-in-law is 'fed up' with the constant drama and has drifted apart from the family, primarily due to their ill-treatment of Brooklyn and how David constantly berates him over phone calls. However, according to Wood, the Beckhams are the kind of family that always has a 'got your back' mindset.

The Bravo celebrity dated Brooklyn in 2018 amid his on-and-off relationship with Chloë Grace Moretz. Lexi was also linked romantically with Presley Gerber (Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber's son) in 2022. Speaking about both the families, she said, (via US weekly) 'It's so funny because those are the types of families that I'm used to.' Lexi continued, 'Families that are in the industry, that give each other advice, work together, live together, travel together… that mindset is: your family has your back. Period.' She admitted to not feeling the celebrity energy, weird or overwhelming. In fact, it felt normal to her. 'I do feel like those families are great. They were lovely.' When asked how it felt to date someone whose dad, David Beckham, is often called 'one of the sexiest men alive', Lexi laughed it off. According to her, the former English footballer 'was just Brooklyn's dad.' Calling, Beckhams the coolest family, she added, 'from the jump, I didn't think anything of it. He's just his dad. They're a beautiful family. Victoria? Style icon. Honestly.' According to her, she and Brooklyn Beckham were quite young when they dated, so their relationship was more casual, and they didn't spend much time with his entire family.
While Lexi has nothing but praise for the Beckhams, she also has good words for Brooklyn and spoke about the 'friendly dynamics' with her exes. 'I'm the type of ex where I'm actually friends with a lot of my exes, and I actually want them to move on. I'm like, 'Go! Good for you!'' Calling his relationship with Nicola a great one, she added, 'Especially with Brooklyn, he's in a great relationship and I'm so happy for him.' Her interview comes right as serious family drama between Brooklyn and his parents, David and Victoria, is bubbling up again.

According to multiple insiders, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz skipped David's 50th Birthday despite flying to London to celebrate, the duo have been clashing with the family for a while now. On the other hand, there are also reports that Brooklyn allegedly has a tense relationship with his brother Romeo's girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, and now the brothers are not on speaking terms. David and Victoria are apparently exhausted by it all. 'They've thrown in the towel over the whole thing,' a source told Us Weekly. The sources close to Beckhams told multiple media outlets that both Brooklyn and Nicola reportedly asked for 'special treatment' and wanted a private meet-up instead of joining the family celebration. However, according to the insider, 'David and Victoria just want to treat everyone the same, like a proper family. But Brooklyn isn't playing it like that, and everything turns into a drama.'
Earlier, TMZ disclosed how the Last Airbender star stands up against the Beckhams, who scream at her husband. 'They scream at him for an hour, then act like everything's fine.' And how Victoria always rushes for damage control whenever David berates Brooklyn. The sources who spoke to the outlet mentioned the 'toxic' behaviour of the infamous couple, who have allegedly sided with Romeo. And Nicola takes issue with that, which doesn't sit well with them. However, according to another insider, it's the other way around. 'Victoria is reportedly losing sleep over the whole situation — this is Victoria's worst nightmare,' a source close to her shared with The Sun. The tension reportedly began around Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding over a Valentino vs Victoria dress, which already had headlines flying at the time, and has only grown since.

Remove Ads Where does Kamal Haasan stand on the issue of imposition of Hindi in the south? "I stand with Punjab. I stand with Karnataka. I stand with Andhra," is his quick pan-India superstar's latest film " Thug Life ", the 234th in a 65-year career, released in theatres this week amid controversy over his comment that Kannada was born out of Tamil. He refused to apologise and the film did not release in Karnataka."I am the actor from 'Ek Duuje Ke Liye'...," Haasan told PTI during a recent visit to the news agency's headquarters, referring to his 1981 hit Hindi film about a Tamil boy and his romance with his Hindi speaking neighbour."Without imposition, we will learn. Don't impose, because this is ultimately education and we must take the shortest route to education... and not put hurdles in its way," the actor ruling DMK in his home state Tamil Nadu has long opposed the three-language policy introduced under the National Education Policy (NEP). The party has repeatedly accused the BJP-led NDA government of attempting to "impose Hindi", a charge the Centre has that the imposition of a particular language only hampers the learning process, the 70-year-old said, "I stand with Punjab. I stand with Karnataka. I stand with Andhra. This is not only place which is resenting imposition."The Indian cinema stalwart, hugely popular in the south as well as in the north with films such as "Nayakan", "Thevar Magan", "Sadma", "Saagar" and Chachi 420" that bridged language divides, said if you are truly looking at "international breakthrough" you must learn one language."And English seems to be fair enough. You can do Spanish also, or Chinese. But I think the most practical thing where the shortest route to that is that we have 350 years of English education, slowly but steadily. So when you suddenly replace it, it's all over again. You make unnecessarily many people illiterate, especially in Tamil Nadu."You suddenly force all through Hindi and you tell them that you will not get your job beyond the Vindhyas, then you start wondering, what about the promises? What about my language? Am I not one of the 22 (official languages)? These are the questions that are coming."Tamil is one of the 22 official languages of the country, apart from Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Telugu, Urdu, Bodo, Santhali, Maithili and Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) had said it would not let "Thug Life" release unless Haasan apologised for his Kannada-Tamil comment at a promotional event in banner Raajkamal Films International filed a plea before the Karnataka High Court seeking protection for the release of the film, which sees him reuniting with Mani Ratnam after "Nayakan" in a rap from the court over the remark, the producers said "Thug Life" will not be released in Karnataka.

Beenu Gupta's new show explores nature's sacred geometry
Artist Beenu Gupta's latest solo exhibition, Divinity – A Symphony of Nature which opened on June 5 and set to continue till June 9 looks at trees not just as forms in nature, but as carriers of memory, rhythm, and quiet symbolism. Each work is layered—leaves painted and assembled by hand, bark rendered with its flaws intact—drawing viewers into a textured, almost tactile engagement with the idea of the tree. Beenu works with oil, drawing inspiration from her travels and early experiences of observing India's landscapes closely. The pieces carry a visible tension between geometry and wildness, a visual language that recurs across cultures and epochs. It's a reflection on nature's own design, and how humans interpret or interrupt it. Beenu Gupta has held over 20 solo shows and participated in more than 100 group exhibitions. This latest body of work continues her inquiry into womanhood, myth, and landscape—through form, colour, and quiet meditation.
