EXCLUSIVE The Valley's Jasmine Goode calls Nick Viall a 'clout chaser' after 'uncomfortable' moment on The Bachelor
The Valley star Jasmine Goode has broken her silence after Nick Viall quipped he wanted an 'apology' from her after their 'uncomfortable' moment during his season of The Bachelor. Goode, 37, shared her thoughts on the Viall Files podcast host in an exclusive interview with Before she joined the cast of Bravo's The Valley, a spin-off of Vanderpump Rules, Goode was a contestant on Viall's season of The Bachelor in 2017. At one point during the season, Goode confronted Viall about not getting a one-on-one date and shared her frustration by putting her hand on Viall's throat and playfully pretending to choke him. Viall reflected on the moment during a recent episode of his podcast The Viall Files, which he co-hosts with his now-wife Natalie Joy. 'I would love an apology from Jasmine,' Viall said during the May 29 episode, which also featured fellow The Valley star Janet Caperna. 'I'm still triggered.' 'All the jokes aside [on] the Jasmine strangling me thing… that did make me uncomfortable. There was a blackout moment,' Viall said. In response to his comments, Goode told that Viall is a 'clout chaser' and insisted that her pretending to choke him was simply a 'joke.' 'Nick is a clout chaser,' Goode claimed. 'He wants attention because I actually did his podcast when he first started out and we joked about it. He laughed about it.' 'Number two, I did not actually touch him. It was gesturing,' she continued. 'And number three, when you're in that situation, I was a sister wife, this is my man, you're dating, this is your boyfriend. 'I'm sorry, I'm from [New] Jersey. If I'm upset with you, like, yes I want to choke you right now. That's how we handle things. 'So, for Nick to act like, "Oh, Jasmine," please. Really, Nick? Get something else. I know you want attention, but this is so Nick coded.' has reached out to Viall's reps for comment. Elsewhere during Goode's interview with the reality star opened up about feeling 'triggered' by co-star Danny Booko's alleged drunken behavior in season two of The Valley, which premiered last April. At the start of the season, The Valley star Jason Caperna claimed that Booko, 41, had been 'inappropriate' with Goode and Goode's fiancée, Melissa Carelli, during a Halloween party. 'Not too long ago, Jasmine was in a situation where Danny was blackout drunk and was really inappropriate,' Caperna explained during a confessional in the premiere episode. 'Danny approached Jasmine, put his hand on her thigh and said, "Get daddy a drink," referring to himself as "daddy." 'And then when she went to go get "daddy" and some other people a drink as well, he approached Jasmine's girlfriend Melissa and grabbed her butt.' Booko later apologized to Goode and Carelli, telling the couple at co-star Brittany Cartwright's white party that his behavior was 'completely out of his character.' However, Goode told her co-stars she still felt 'triggered' by Booko following a cast trip to Santa Barbara, California, in which he had missed a group dinner after a long day of drinking at a winery. Speaking to Goode admitted that she wanted a second apology from Booko over the Halloween incident because she felt his original apology wasn't genuine. 'When this all happened, I got a text message from Danny and then he apologized to Melissa at the white party,' she explained. 'That's the only time. I know he keeps saying he's done this numerous times, and it wasn't multiple apologies. It was at one time at the white party.' 'Then we sat down at the white party and the first thing he said to me was, "Are you doing this to me right now?" And that just sent me. 'I was like, "Wait, I'm doing this to you?" Like, this is the first time you're seeing Melissa. 'This is the first time you're apologizing to her face, and this is what you're saying as you sit down.' Goode continued: 'Right there, I was like, "This apology is not working for me."' In last week's episode, Booko apologized again for his behavior at the Halloween party, which Goode felt needed to happen in order to move forward with their friendship. 'Having that conversation with him again, I think I needed him to understand, like, look, if you want a friendship with me, I want you to understand this is what you did to me and how it made me feel.' New episodes of The Valley air Tuesdays at 9pm ET on Bravo.

The 'Mormon Wives' cast is fighting over pay. Here's the drama explained and why Whitney thinks they might not always be paid equally.
" The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" cast broke the fourth wall in season two when arguments about pay spilled onscreen. The reality show, which follows a group of unconventional Mormon-adjacent TikTok influencers known as MomTokers, was one of Hulu's biggest new hits of 2024. The immediate success led to the streamer renewing the show for 20 episodes in October 2024 — more than double the length of season one. In season two, episode six, the cast revealed that negotiations for the second season led to an argument where Demi asked for Jessi to be kicked off the show to boost her and their castmates' pay packets. This surprised fans and the other cast members since Demi and Jessi were close friends up until that moment. Whitney, another cast member, told Business Insider on May 20 that the cast are currently paid equally for starring in the show, but suggested that there could be more conversations "down the line." Here's what to know about the cast's pay and how it led to Jessi and Demi's fallout. Jessi said Demi wanted an 'absurd' amount of money On May 20, Jessi told the "Viall Files" podcast that Demi's attempt to kick her off the show was the "catalyst" for the end of the friendship. In the episode, Jessi said that the argument began during a call with the cast, their managers, and lawyers as they devised a plan to negotiate higher pay for season two before season one aired. Jessi said she joined the call and heard Demi's husband, Bret, tell the cast to quit the show if they didn't get the salary he and his wife wanted. Jessi said she responded by saying she didn't want to quit, which she said angered Bret and Demi. "She basically threw me under the bus because I didn't care to fight for more money, and she wanted an absurd amount of money," Jessi said, without stating how much Bret and Demi wanted. Jessi said after the initial call, Demi called the other cast members to say Jessi should be kicked off the show so they could earn more money. Mikayla, Jessi's costar who appeared on the same "Viall Files" episode, also said that the amount Demi requested was too much, adding that the cast did not know how successful the show would be. Mikayla added that Demi told cast members that Jessi had "no morals, no values." Whitney and Layla told Business Insider that the cast eventually decided to be paid equally for season two. Explaining how the show's cast is paid, Whitney said: "it is equal and I think maybe more seasons down the line, we'll have more conversations about it because I think just naturally more people are being filmed more than others." Demi and Jessi's fallout shows the struggles of mixing business with friendship Demi and Jessi made up before filming season two, but the started to show when Jessi learned that Demi told their costar, Taylor, not to get her hair done at Jessi's hair salon, JZ Styles, and criticized her business. Demi said she was repeating criticism from others and that she didn't do anything wrong. Jessi said the final straw was when Demi kept criticizing her for not supporting her in various arguments. "I was just like 'I'm not doing this pattern where I have to beg for your love if I'm not doing exactly what you want,'" Jessi said. Demi told "Viall Files" on May 15 that the fallout was just a "misunderstanding" that could be resolved, but she said Jessi refused to talk with her off-camera. The arguments are a problem for a show built around the idea that the cast are supportive, close friends. Any rifts that might make viewers question how genuine their friendship is could affect brand deals that the MomTokers get and the success of the show. Jessi and Demi have re-followed each other on Instagram, which could mean they are rebuilding their friendship. A representative for Demi and Bret did not immediately respond to a comment request from Business Insider.

Brooklyn Beckham's ex reveals David Beckham and Victoria's real personalities amid feud with daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz
Before marrying actor Nicola Peltz in 2022, Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, was dating Summer House star Lexi Wood. On the Viall Files podcast, the model opened up about her relationships with her exes and their famous parents, including Brooklyn and Presley Gerber, and shared what it was like to mingle with their families. This comes amid reports of tension within the Beckham clan, with claims that their daughter-in-law is 'fed up' with the constant drama and has drifted apart from the family, primarily due to their ill-treatment of Brooklyn and how David constantly berates him over phone calls. However, according to Wood, the Beckhams are the kind of family that always has a 'got your back' mindset. Also read: David Beckham, Victoria accused of 'toxic' behaviour, 'verbally berating' son Brooklyn; daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz hits breaking point The Bravo celebrity dated Brooklyn in 2018 amid his on-and-off relationship with Chloë Grace Moretz. Lexi was also linked romantically with Presley Gerber (Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber's son) in 2022. Speaking about both the families, she said, (via US weekly) 'It's so funny because those are the types of families that I'm used to.' Lexi continued, 'Families that are in the industry, that give each other advice, work together, live together, travel together… that mindset is: your family has your back. Period.' She admitted to not feeling the celebrity energy, weird or overwhelming. In fact, it felt normal to her. 'I do feel like those families are great. They were lovely.' When asked how it felt to date someone whose dad, David Beckham, is often called 'one of the sexiest men alive', Lexi laughed it off. According to her, the former English footballer 'was just Brooklyn's dad.' Calling, Beckhams the coolest family, she added, 'from the jump, I didn't think anything of it. He's just his dad. They're a beautiful family. Victoria? Style icon. Honestly.' According to her, she and Brooklyn Beckham were quite young when they dated, so their relationship was more casual, and they didn't spend much time with his entire family. While Lexi has nothing but praise for the Beckhams, she also has good words for Brooklyn and spoke about the 'friendly dynamics' with her exes. 'I'm the type of ex where I'm actually friends with a lot of my exes, and I actually want them to move on. I'm like, 'Go! Good for you!'' Calling his relationship with Nicola a great one, she added, 'Especially with Brooklyn, he's in a great relationship and I'm so happy for him.' Her interview comes right as serious family drama between Brooklyn and his parents, David and Victoria, is bubbling up again. Also read: Beckham and the big bucks: how smart sports stars make fortunes outside of sport According to multiple insiders, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz skipped David's 50th Birthday despite flying to London to celebrate, the duo have been clashing with the family for a while now. On the other hand, there are also reports that Brooklyn allegedly has a tense relationship with his brother Romeo's girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, and now the brothers are not on speaking terms. David and Victoria are apparently exhausted by it all. 'They've thrown in the towel over the whole thing,' a source told Us Weekly. The sources close to Beckhams told multiple media outlets that both Brooklyn and Nicola reportedly asked for 'special treatment' and wanted a private meet-up instead of joining the family celebration. However, according to the insider, 'David and Victoria just want to treat everyone the same, like a proper family. But Brooklyn isn't playing it like that, and everything turns into a drama.' Earlier, TMZ disclosed how the Last Airbender star stands up against the Beckhams, who scream at her husband. 'They scream at him for an hour, then act like everything's fine.' And how Victoria always rushes for damage control whenever David berates Brooklyn. The sources who spoke to the outlet mentioned the 'toxic' behaviour of the infamous couple, who have allegedly sided with Romeo. And Nicola takes issue with that, which doesn't sit well with them. However, according to another insider, it's the other way around. 'Victoria is reportedly losing sleep over the whole situation — this is Victoria's worst nightmare,' a source close to her shared with The Sun. The tension reportedly began around Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding over a Valentino vs Victoria dress, which already had headlines flying at the time, and has only grown since.

Did 'Summer House' Lexi Wood Date Drake? What We Know About Celebrity Exes
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Summer House's Lexi Wood's relationship with cast member Jesse Solomon has been a main plot line this season, but she's recently opened up about dating several high-profile people, including Brooklyn Beckham and Drake. Why It Matters Wood entering the arena of reality TV has made her personal life a source of fascination for viewers, from her modeling career to who she's dated. Fans have watched her relationship with Solomon play out on television this season and now that the season is wrapping, Wood is opening up about some of her past relationships. And, while Wood's relationship with her own family has faced scrutiny on the show, she's explained it's not unlike the ones that her famous ex-boyfriends have with their families. Newsweek has reached out to Drake's publicist for comment but has not received a response in time for publication. What To Know The 27-year-old model, who joined Summer House this season, recently addressed speculation about a romantic link with Drake during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. During Wednesday's episode, Cohen took a viewer's question and asked Wood to clarify the "timeline" of her relationship with the well known rapper and actor. Wood laughed and asked if she could "take a sip and pass on this one," grabbing her drink from the table and declining to comment further. Cohen moved on pretty quickly, leaving the question open ended, but Wood's lack of denial of the relationship has sparked fan interest. More Amy Sussman/John Nacion/WireImage/Getty Images Along with talking about her possible relationship with Drake, Wood has been recently opening up about her relationship with Beckham. On the Viall Files podcast she said families that are "in the industry" is what she's used to. She noted they give each other advice, work together when they can and are really close because they travel, live together and "do so much together." On Wednesday's episode of Summer House, Solomon discussed Wood's relationship with her mom and sister, noting how they spent time at her apartment talking about the strains in their relationship and went out to a bar until early in the morning. Wood has said previously that she's extremely close with her sister and mom because they all work together and have a very close relationship. "That mindset is your family has your back period. I do feel like those families are great," Wood said on the Viall Files podcast, referencing families that are in the same industry. Wood and Beckham were spotted together in 2018 and she told Viall that the Beckhams are a "beautiful family" and are the "coolest." Beckham started dating his now-wife, Nicola Peltz in 2019. Talking about Beckham's new relationship, Wood called it "great" and said that she's "so happy for him." She added that she's the type of person that is friends with a lot of her exes. Wood also dated Presley Gerber, the son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. In 2022, Gerber confirmed the relationship on Instagram, writing that Wood is the person that makes him "the happiest I've ever been." Wood posted a photo of her own and wrote that she was "in love" with Gerber. Wood's past relationships have drawn attention as Summer House Season 9 is coming to an end. Throughout the season fans watched the ups and downs of her relationship with Solomon, who said he fell for her immediately after meeting her, but seemed to struggle to adjust to life in a share house with a girlfriend. Wood has expressed on the show that she felt he was behaving one way with her and then turning the house against her by speaking badly about her to her fellow castmates. After filming, Wood accused Solomon of using her for screen time and publicity. On Watch What Happens Live, she told Cohen the "shadiest" thing Solomon said to her about West was that he used his relationship with cast member Ciara to become famous. "Boys need us," Wood said. What People Are Saying Wood told The Daily Dish in April: "I think having the big life that I have had is also something interesting where people are like, 'Oh, wait, I like her, but she's had such a crazy life. I could have that. And that's honestly been my biggest thing—I want people to connect to me and I want people to feel like it is interesting. And that's cool. Let's talk about it." What Happens Next This season of Summer House will end in just a few weeks and Wood told Us Weekly, she wants to end the reunion "stronger" with her fellow cast members than when the season started. In a teaser for next week's episode, a conversation between Wood and Solomon hint at the pair breaking up on the show.
